I feel raptured over you
In silence I keep it to myself
Come and take me
Don't want nobody else
Daydream is the fifth studio album released by Mariah Carey released on September 26, 1995, by Columbia Records. Unlike her previous albums, Daydream leaned more heavily toward Hip-Hop and R&B music with Carey working with producers and artists such as Jermaine Dupri, Boyz II Men, and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. With Daydream, Carey took more control over the musical direction as well as the album's composition, and butted heads with her then-husband Sony Records label head Tommy Mottola. In the end, the risk paid off: Daydream received critical acclaim and commercial acclaim and was Carey's second album to be certified Diamond by the RIAA.
