I'm an Albatroz!
AronChupa is the stage name of Aron Michael Ekberg (born March 30, 1991). He is best known for being part of the group Albatroz as well as his song “I’m an Albatraoz” which charted worldwide, the video of which is famous on YouTube.

His sister Little Sis Nora sings in his music including “I'm an Albatraoz” his major hit. He also played on the soccer team at the Academy of Art University in San Fransisco.

Tropes in AronChupa include:

  • Broken Record: “The Woodchuck Song”
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck could chuck wood?
    Woodchuck could chuck wood
    Woodchuck could chuck wood

  • Bowdlerise: The most common cut is the "radio" version of the song where all the swearing is silenced. But specifically, the chorus was changed to "Loose that little mouse 'cause I'm an Albatroz!"
  • Disproportionate Retribution: “Fired Cuz I Was Late” as you can tell, the boss in the chorus.
  • Call-Back: “Mesdames et Messieurs S'il vous plaît Soyez prêts pour AronChupa C'est parti !” Is said at the beginning of “Rave in the Grave” and is the same intro used in “I’m an Albatraoz”.
  • Lyrical Dissonance: “California Sun” sounds happy and upbeat but the lyrics are depressing when you listen to them.
  • Subverted Kids' Show: The lyrics of “I’m an Albatroz” sound like a kid's story until we hear “hoe” and “bitch” being used in the sentence.
  • Word Salad Lyrics: In “I’m an Albatroz” there are random words that are used in-between lyrics.
  • Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: In “Tequila”
    Went down to Mexico
To meet my good old friend
    Named alcohol
  • Truth in Television: In “California Sun” is telling the truth about the misconception of Los Angeles, and how in reality, it's not as great as the media portrays it.
