• "HOW MANY ___?" Perhaps the most popular meme both inside and outside the NCT fandom, this is used when the numbers 1, 2, and 7, a.k.a. NCT 127, appear in various situations.^note Examples: Beyoncé's one-month gross for her concert tour was reported to be $127.6 million. Just look at the quotes for one of the posts about it. Or this one about Queen Elizabeth II. How about this one?
• "Hi, we're the uhh... foreign swaggers." Mark introducing himself, Johnny, and Jaehyun in an SM Rookies video.
  • Becomes an Ascended Meme about five years later after the foreign swaggers, now including Ten and Yangyang, gathered for a video content and introduced themselves as such.
• "I lived in America for four years! That's why I'm here, man." Related to the meme above: Jaehyun's Piss-Take Rap to justify why he's part of the "foreign swaggers" despite being Korean. This is constantly referenced in every instance Jaehyun is speaking in English, but considering how old the joke is, it may come off as Humor Dissonance to some fans.
• Their highly sexual-sounding songs^note for example, "Whiplash" and the official English versions, such as "Make a Wish" and its notorious lines like "I like my donuts with jam in the middle" being about... their sisters, the go-to excuse. Girl power.
  • Another case of Humor Dissonance due to its Incest Subtext, but Taeyong's explanation actually attempts to excuse the song as non-sexual. Sure, Taeyong.
• "You gotta seize the opportunity."^note  An iconic yet infamous quote from Mark during a promotion video for the Neo City Tour, said while making a rather... interesting face.
• "My dad knew I liked [coffee] beans, so he was just playing with beans, and then he dropped it, and then he dropped a rock, and then it slid, and then hot water started falling, and then coffee."^note  Johnny explaining the origin of coffee in A Cup Of Coffee Part 2.
• NCTzen 1, 2, 3, and 4.^note Referring to NCTzens having divided opinions on everything.
• Doyoung practicing "Now I knooow" during the recording session for "From Home".^note Mostly used by K-pop fans who are just finding out about their idols' government names.
• Jaemin: "Wow! So sexy!"^note Often used by fans as a reaction video.
• Johnny: "Hey, what are you doing?"^note Used in videos where a sexy act is about to ensue... until a wild Johnny appears.
• Jaehyun on Instagram live: "Wait a minute... SCREENSHOT"^note Used as a reaction video just like Johnny's meme right above.
• IJBOL^note Acronym and Abbreviation Overload for "I just bursted out laughing" vs. IDGAF^note stands for "I don't give a fuck", referring to the members' contrasting expressions in this interview.
• This comparison of Mark and Squidward twerking. The fact that Mark knows about this meme makes it even more hilarious.
• It is common knowledge that Mark doesn't know how to cook eggs◊, which is something criticized by Gordon Ramsay himself. It becomes an Ascended Meme after he was tasked to cook 23 eggs (one for each NCT member), barely succeeding◊ from this challenge. In 2023, he released his NCT Lab single "Golden Hour", which has a running theme of a sunny-side up egg in its album artwork and promotional material.
• This prayer circle edit of NCT 2020.^note Widely used for manifesting. Here are◊ some examples◊.
• "Slenderman's gay cousin ILikeMenderman."^note A template used by K-pop stans when their idols look like, well, Slenderman, usually when they are pale and wearing a suit. The original post◊ comes from a NCTzen referring to Jaehyun as such.
• (to the tune of "Jingle Bell Rock") "TWO BADDIES TWO BADDIES, ONE PORSCHE!"^note While many NCT songs (or several other K-pop songs) have undergone a history of being remixed with many Christmas music instrumentals, this remix of one NCTzen entitled "2 Jingle Bells 1 Rock" is a remix of...of course "Jingle Bell Rock" and NCT 127's "2 Baddies". It became so popular due to how hilarious (YET fitting) it is, and many people use the sound with anything related to the holiday season. Even Taeyong (yes, you read that right.) actually used the remix while dancing to the said song, and also shocked everyone, including the remix creator themselves, leading to them baffled on how did he find it so fast.
• One scene from NCT U's song "Baggy Jeans" features Mark dancing with....uh....pairs of jeans that somehow can dance/float without the top part of the body. Ever since this came to light, many fans admitted that they can't take this scene seriously, and some say that this reminds them of the Jimmy Neutron episode with the jeans attacking the protagonists or the Looney Toons episode with Daffy Duck wearing the titular "baggy jean".
