* ''Film/WhenHarryMetSally'': Harry and Sally go on dates with Bob and Dana. In spite of the fact that Harry was supposedly being set up for Dana and Sally with Bob, Bob and Dana really hit it off well at the date and hail a cab together, leaving an awkward Harry and Sally behind.

However, Greg can't convince any of his friends to double-date with him because, last time anyone saw her, the cousin had [[GirlishPigtails pigtails]] and [[BracesOfOrthodonticOverkill braces]]. So Greg convinces Peter to do it (with difficulty), and he has Peter wear a bad fake moustache to make him look older. Of course, 1. the cousin has lost the pigtails and braces and is now [[SheIsAllGrownUp super hot]] (Greg clearly thinks she's hotter than his own date), and 2. the two girls see right through Peter's PaperThinDisguise. So they conspire to both ignore Greg and give all their attention to Peter.

* The ''Series/NedsDeclassifiedSchoolSurvivalGuide'' episode "Guide to: Double Dating" features Ned and Suzy going to Around the World Night at school with Moze and Jock Goldman.
