- In Crushed Spirit
, Emily gives Percy (whom she sees as a son) several kisses and a buffer massage (don't ask how that works) in order to help him recover from the mental trauma he's been suffering from ever since he accidentally killed a family. She even lets him kiss her on the lips (although she tells him that she will only allow him to do so this one time). - Subverted in the Disgaea/Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover story ''Dis Guy, Eh?. All the healers Xander visits use "tantric magic" (aka sexual healing) but it's later revealed they just use it as an excuse to have sex with him.
- This series of drabbles for Final Fantasy III has Luneth split the last Hi-Potion with Arc by kissing him with a mouthful of it. With some precarious Leaning on the Fourth Wall, to boot.Luneth: See? All better.
- In the Lost Girl/Castle fic "Fae in Heat", Bo naturally relies on this; after she's badly injured killing a rogue Wereling that had tried to escape to New York, after applying just enough influence to convince Castle and Beckett to take her to their apartment after the fight, she then draws them into a threesome so that she can finish healing.
- Fate/Black Avalon: Morgan notes that she'll need to do a sex-as-mana-transfer with Shirou eventually (and is even looking forward to it), but she taps into the local ley lines as an alternative energy source to put that off as long as possible. When it starts becoming more imminent, she asks Sakura for permission first.
- Fate/Black Dawn: After Morgan le Faye uses a lot of her magic to make Shirou a weapon, she needs a recharge, so she goes to Shirou for a sex-as-mana-transfer. Of course, it's quite obvious that she could have chosen some other way to restore her mana, but decided this way would be more fun. Shirou, who is in love with someone else and still not used to her vampy tendencies, is very hesitant.Shirou: There's no way I'm getting out of this, am I?
Morgan: If you want what I'm going to give you, then no. - Fate/Harem Antics: When Rider's mana is low, Shirou innocently asks if there's anything he can do to help. Saber, who knows that the best way for Shirou to transfer mana to Rider is to have sex with her, promptly leaves the room. Shirou is embarrassed when the process is explained to him, and more embarrassed when his girlfriend says it's fine. Later, Saber's own mana is low and she gets a similar mana transfer.
- In Final Fantasy Legacy, the healers of Rupantao help heal patients by raising their "prana". What this process involves exactly is never revealed, but it starts with the healer disrobing completely.
- Played for Laughs in Frostbite. Part of the away team is separated from the campsite after Breen land on the planet, and they huddle together for warmth, leading to a joking exchange between Biri Riyannis and a Betazoid petty officer.Petty Officer Glav: Hope you won't consider this too forward, sir.
Biri: Cop a feel and I'll break your neck. - Attempted by Spock to save Kirk's life in the Star Trek: The Original Series fanfic Hold On, where he uses what is a type of life-force-transfusion. Vulcan psychic healing involves Mental Fusion. You can't get more intimate than that.Spock took a deep breath, steeling himself, then gently placed his hands against Jim’s temples. His lips moved, mouthing the words almost too soft to hear “My mind to yours…My strength to yours…My life to yours…” The junior officers watched with a hushed awe as slowly color flooded back to Kirk’s face. The captain’s breathing grew less harsh, less labored, his pained expression relaxing back into the calmness of deep sleep.
- Downplayed in Chapter 5 of I've Got Your Back. Marina cut a large gash across her chest on a jagged handrail in the previous chapter, and Pearl brings her to her apartment to patch her up. She finds that she can't properly clean and dress the wound without removing Marina's bra, something that Marina's not willing to do, and Pearl thus insists on doing it topless, too, to lessen the humiliation that Marina feels. However, what makes this instance of the trope unique is that it isn't played up for any fanservice or sexual tension whatsoever, but rather to show how much Pearl wants Marina to trust her, that she's willing to bare her underdeveloped chest to get Marina to feel less embarrassed about the ordeal.
- One of The Lone Traveler's trips takes him to Arcadia. He surruptitiously uses some magic that, over time, allows Kevin Girardi's damaged spine to heal. The first time anyone notices this is immediately after he and his fiancée...finish.Kevin: I guess Marvin Gaye was right. All I needed was some sexual healing.
- Obviously features on a fairly regular in Lost in Camelot, but this is particularly relevant as Bo's first explicit sexual encounters with Merlin and Morgana occur when she needs to heal from recent injuries (she and Merlin were attacked by bandits while out riding and Bo suffered some minor scarring due to Morgana having a magical breakdown).
- Maybe Sprout Wings: Dean's deep trauma in Hell causes severe PTSD, and in this Omegaverse, close contact with an alpha — in this case Castiel who rescued him — helps heal him.
- In the 11th chapter of the Rango fanfic Old West, Grace Glossy is saved from drowning by Rattlesnake Jake, but her body is left cold, which is extremely dangerous for snakes. With no other options, Jake holds Grace in his coils to give her warmth until she recovers and can be escorted to proper warmth. The event serves as one of the catalysts to draw Jake and Grace closer.
- Sion in Passing Days for suggests a mana transfer via sexual intercourse in Extra Day 4 for the weakened Robin Hood to regain his strength from his treatment in the Ooku. Due to Vy's Trauma Button around sex, though, the suggestion falls through and French kissing comes up in the conversation instead.
- In Pawprints, Blake kisses an injured Weiss to help draw blood out of her mouth.
- A mostly platonic version in The Peace Not Promised: Lily finds Severus having terrible nightmares, and hops into bed to cuddle him. It helps soothe him, but he's quite startled to find her there in the morning.
- In Chapter 31 of Pokémon Reset Bloodlines, Ash and Anabel (who takes her sweaty shirt off to focus) learn to use Heal Pulse after a tiresome training session, and use to replenish each other's energy. All the while, Ash feels incredibly awkward to touch her directly, but they both clearly enjoy it.
- Edward and Mustang are forced to share body heat in Shadow of a Doubt when they're trapped in a cold mine. Being embarrassed was deemed preferable to the hypothermia that was setting in.
- In Sophistication and Betrayal, Rarity has sex with her boyfriend after he gets hit in the head with an iron bar. It doesn't do much for the head wound, but does do an effective job of removing his headache.
- This Place Was Home: In Part 6, Jango cuddles Zam to keep her warm while they're on a frost planet.
- Spoofed in Vision of Escaflowne Abridged, where the healing arts pretty much consist of touching the patient inappropriately.Milerna: Okay, I am now going to attempt to heal him with the Laying On of Hands.
Allen: There is no part of that sentence that I didn't like!
Hitomi: That's not where he's hurt, you perv! - As a cleric of Aphrodite and Eros, Xander can do this and have it done to him in Walking in the Shadows. Anything from hugging to having sex with him is described as working like years of therapy, and a kiss from Hawkgirl healed up his injury from her punching him in the stomach.
- Inverted in Wandering Pilot. Shinji's Healing Hands don't require anything more intimate than contact with the wounded area, but have the unusual side effect of causing arousal in anyone healed by them, including Shinji himself.
