    The Circus
  • We get to see a young Stolas, excited and happy to learn his role in the family, and it's absolutely adorable. It's a shame that Paimon ruins it by bringing up the Arranged Marriage to Stella.
  • The first time Stolas sees Blitzo, everything slows down, and a blush creeps up on his face, with him being unable to take his eyes off the young boy during the performance. Later on when Blitzo comes over to be his "playmate", Stolas blushes again when they make eye contact.
  • Seeing Blitzo and Fizzarolli back when they were friends. Blitzo isn't even mad that Fizz upstaged him during their show and the two happily play with their balloon horses together.
    • Even when his joke about the legless horse failed to hit the audience, Stolas appreciated the joke and even giggles at it. Blitzo happily points it out, being appreciative that at least someone gets it.
  • In contrast to his present crass and Jerkass self, Fizzarolli Used to Be a Sweet Kid. During their playing, when Blitzo's balloon horse expressed despair at losing his legs in the pirate war, Fizzarolli makes an active effort to cheer them up, saying his horse will dance to make Worm Horse feel better. Outside of Fizz being unamused of Blitzo bringing up pirates and being Squicked at the idea of blood, the two clearly used to get along very well.
  • It's revealed that, while Blitzo was paid to do so (and was manipulated by his sleazy father into being a thief), Stolas was genuinely happy to have a friend his own age in childhood, and probably saved his sanity from Paimon's less than competent "daddying."
    • When Blitzo explains his dream of running his own Circus-Business, Stolas is incredibly supportive, if somewhat amused at a circus having an office. When the prospect of Blitzo hiring him comes up later, Stolas says he hopes he'll qualify, and that Blitzo will make a good boss.
    • While the start of their playdate had Blitzo being bored and clearly not thinking much of Stolas, and even if it comes after Blitzo tricking Stolas in helping him rob the palace, by the end they are laughing together and happily discussing their futures with mutual interest.
  • Stolas putting up with years of Stella's abuse in order to give Octavia the best childhood that he could. But as he has finally had enough, he angrily and sternly tells Stella to leave the palace, and stay out of his life.
    • Notably, his daily routine of waking up around Stella has him being a Perpetual Frowner - until he sees Octavia is fine, causing him to genuinely smile.
    • While he's stern and professional in his portrait with Stella and his father, with Octavia he's playing with her and grinning wildly.
  • Even though they haven't seen each other in over two decades, he's happy to see Blitzo again. He also tells Blitzo he could have visited whenever he wanted in those years. When he first lays eyes on him again, Stolas's vision basically turns into a Crush Filter.
    • After Blitzo ties him up, Stolas happily says he was glad that the person who wanted him this passionately was his first ever friend. Blitzo feels guilty enough realizing how miserable Stolas's life actually was that he ends up deciding to sleep with him.
Stolas: I've never had anyone want me this way. You have no idea how long I've craved this kind of passion. And how much it means to me that the one who wants me is... my first ever friend.
    • Notably Blitzo intended for it to be a quick one and done, he ended up spending the whole night and staying through to morning. Considering how kinky the two of them are with each other in Season 1, if Stolas' claim that no one has ever wanted him like this is true, Blitzo's the one who initiated him into kink.
  • Stolas is still going through a broken heart, but when he looks through his phone, many of the photos are of Blitzo. One photo seems to be of a horse with wings, something Blitzo likely drew.
    • Stolas is looking through a book while he's singing, and stops on a page entitled Asmodean Crystals. The page is in runes, but according to Reddit user Pringles Cam who translated the pages, these crystals are used by succubi and incubi to come and go freely from Earth. Stolas has taken what Blitzo has said to heart and after his bender where he drank all the absinthe, it seems as though he's taking back the Grimoire and leaving Blitzo with the means to continue I.M.P without the need for Stolas' involvement. Stolas' motivation could stem from wanting to make amends to Blitzo for treating him like a sex toy or to Octavia for ruining her life or even to protect himself from the wrath of the higher-ups in the Ars Goetia and other hierarchies, or a combination of any of these. Considering Stolas' song, however, making amends to Blitzo, Stolas' first ever friend before his lover, is probably the biggest motivator for this.

    Seeing Stars
  • The fact that Octavia was still looking forward to the day she and Stolas would watch the meteor shower, despite him making the promise when she was younger and her growing into a sullen teenager.
  • While it's a very minor detail, Stolas never once referred to Blitzo as "Blitzy" throughout the whole episode. He's still flirtatious and thirsty for Blitzo, but it's clear he's starting to treat Blitzo better and respecting Blitzo's boundaries more.
  • Despite his previous distractions with upcoming divorce, Stolas immediately drops everything to find Octavia once he learns that she's missing.
    • Not only that, Blitzo only has enough time to say "Oh, that actually went better than I thought" before Stolas bursts through the IMP door in full demon form, screaming Blitzo's name.
    • Small detail, but Stolas calling Blitzo by his preferred pronunciation even though he's mad out of his mind by his daughter being missing.
  • It's a rather small moment, but when Blitzo finally starts standing up to an angry Loona, Moxxie gives him a supportive thumbs-up. He also begins giving Blitzo a relaxing shoulder massage, telling Blitzo he did the right thing. It's also implied he's the one who put cucumbers which can be seen on Blitzo's face later on.
  • When Stolas reveals his human form, Blitzo can briefly be seen blushing a bit before he changes the subject.
  • Millie and Moxxie singing a love song about each other as they try to earn some money. The crowd they draw also seems to be legitimately touched, which stands out even more once you consider how much L.A is a Wretched Hive.
  • When Stolas expresses his worry about finding Octavia and how she could be in danger, Blitzo is quick to reassure him that everything will be alright.
  • A small example, but Blitzo briefly calls Octavia "Via".
  • While the two may not have met much before, their interest in the owl poster shows how the two are similar. When Loona realizes she can track Octavia through her Sinstagram photos, she seems conflicted over lazing off with her coffee and actually doing what Blitzo asked her to. She ends up throwing her drink down in frustration and starts chasing after Octavia.
    • Despite having a less than stellar day, Octavia seems to be enjoying herself a bit as she takes photos of locations she's been to.
  • Blitzo starts panicking over having to act in front of a crowd because he hasn't done it since he left the circus. Stolas manages to calm him down and even hype him up.
    Stolas: Break a leg, darling!
  • Even though the prompters are telling the audience to laugh, like in "The Circus", Stolas is the only one who actually finds Blitzo's jokes funny and genuinely laughs at it.
  • We finally get to see how Blitzo ended up adopting Loona, which may help to explain why, despite everything, Loona has enough positive thoughts about her dad to come to that previous revelation. Blitzo was adopting a hellhound and saw that she was unlikely to receive any kind of love, so he took it upon himself to do it. Adding to the sadness, she was a month away from turning 18 and we don't see anyone else at the hellhound adoption center that seems to be anywhere near her age range.
    • While it's part of his breakdown, Blitzo hugs the pug protectively and yells at the child actress that he wasn't going to give the dog up because he loved them. Stolas seems to notice this breakdown and begins to look on in concern. Additionally, the pronoun switch (the dog on-stage is a boy) indicates he's not really talking about the dog, but about Loona:
"No, no, no, you can't have her! She's mine, and I love her!"
"You can't have my baby, bitch! I'LL NEVER GET RID OF HER!
  • When the panicking audience is fleeing the on-fire soundstage, Stolas gets lost in the crowd and knocked over by a passerby. But Blitzo manages to catch him by the hand before he falls, declaring "Let's go find our daughters", and Stolas promptly starts blushing.
  • As Loona approaches Octavia, she's incredibly gentle with the girl and even compliments her on her Sinstagram photos.
  • Octavia conjuring up a small flame for Loona's cigarette when her lighter wouldn't work.
  • Loona rags on Blitzo at the beginning of the episode, even physically assaulting him. But in the human realm, she ultimately does do what he wants in finding Octavia, confiding in her that she recognizes that Blitzo is trying to be a good dad to her. It's as close as Loona gets to admitting that maybe things with Blitzo aren't so bad as she's ever gotten.
Loona: This kind of shit gets messy. And everybody's got issues, especially dads. And sometimes, they fuck up. Well, all the time. That doesn't mean they don't care. [...] Try to cut your dad some slack. He may not always get it right, but... He's trying. That's more important than you think.
  • Loona asks Octavia if she's ready to go while extending her hand out to her, and Octavia then gives the grimoire over to Loona. Octavia smiles and hugs Loona, glad to have someone who listened to her and can relate to.
    • Previous episodes have shown that Loona does NOT like physical affection, shown most often with Blitzo. Yet here Loona accepts and even returns Octavia's hug with no resistance whatsoever.
      • Better still: Loona initiates the contact. She holds her hand out to Octavia twice as though to help her stand up, and looks a little confused when Octavia instead hands her the book the first time.
  • Octavia reuniting with Stolas after being lost in L.A all episode. When she sees Stolas, she visibly cringes, clearly expecting to receive an earful from her dad. Stolas however, promptly drops his human disguise and swoops Octavia up in a hug, tearfully expressing his joy at finding his little girl again.
    • Also instead of yelling or scolding her, Stolas just gently and worryingly asked Octavia why she ran off since he haven’t taught her any advanced spells yet. When Octavia admitted she just wanted to see the stars he promised, Stolas felt so guilty and quickly apologized, for which Octavia quickly forgives him.
  • While Blitzo was going over to hug Loona, Loona actually makes sure to push Octavia behind her and protect her.
  • Octavia, Stolas, Blitzo and Loona all enjoying some fireworks together.
  • Even if he took it way too far, it was very sweet of Moxxie to want to support the independent artists he ran into on the streets of L.A.
  • In general, given everything that went down in "OZZIE'S" and all the grudges that could understandably be held, it's rather nice to see I.M.P as well as Blitzo and Stolas getting on well.

    Exes And Oohs
  • Moxxie and Millie's love for each other shines here more than it possibly ever has. Moxxie stands up to the Mafia for her.
    • For context, Moxxie is feeling absolutely hopeless at his situation of having to marry an ex he no longer likes while being forced to leave behind the one he loves. So for comfort, he goes though his photo album. He scrolls through picture after picture of him being together with Millie, with the last picture being their wedding photo. He then proceeds to close his eyes before reopening with a steely resolve, clearly signifying that this is the moment he decides to stand up to Crimson.
  • Little baby Moxxie bonding with his mother. Though it doesn't last...
    • Although it costed her her life, Moxxie's mother doing what she could to protect him from becoming like his psychopath of a father. And thankfully, their short time together left enough of an impact that Moxxie indeed hadn't gone down that road despite becoming a hitman.
  • It turns sour rather quickly, but the flashbacks to Moxxie and Chaz's past romance are legitimately sweet.
    • When Moxxie first meets Chaz he instantly has a crush on him. Seeing him blush and get flustered over Chaz is simply adorable to watch.
    • While Chaz is a legitimate scumbag, the flashback implies that he felt genuinely guilty for leaving Moxxie behind after their heist went wrong.
    • Moxxie ended up in jail for this. Which turns out to be how he met Blitzo. When Blitzo happily starts charting out an escape plan with him, Moxxie slowly begins to smile — the start of a beautiful friendship. Also, Blitzo's motivation for getting out of prison is so he can get back to Loona.
      • It becomes even more heartwarming when one notices when Moxxie starts to smile at Blitzo: it's when Blitzo starts talking about returning to Loona. Blitzo's status as a good dad is essentially what earned him Moxxie's Undying Loyalty. Considering Moxxie's own monstrous father, it makes all the sense in the world why Blitzo's genuine devotion to his daughter would touch him so much.
    • When Millie finds out Chaz left Moxxie behind to get arrested, she is furious and would've outright gutted him if it weren't for Moxxie and Blitzo holding her back.
    • Millie is merely upset by his presence and disgusted by him when Chaz shows up to the manor. Whatever happened between her and Chaz, she didn't consider it worth getting off the couch. Millie only threatens his life once she learns what he did to her husband.
  • While Blitzo may mess around with Moxxie and Millie's marriage a bit, he won't let anyone else do it.
  • Millie and Blitzo crashing the wedding and Millie massacring Crimson's minions to rescue her husband.
    • It's easy to miss, but as Millie is slaughtering the Mafia goons, Moxxie is clearly having the time of his life watching the show. He can even be heard cheering through the gag.
  • After Millie and Blitzo save him and return to I.M.P. Headquarters, Moxxie genuinely thanks them. Blitzo ruffles his hair and playfully notes that it's good to know that the both of them have Daddy Issues, which implies that the two now have something to genuinely bond over.
    • Millie has her moment, too; clasping Moxxie's hands, she gently urges him to tell her next time that his father is crazy and if he is giving him trouble next time. Not only does she imply that she'll "handle it", but also that she understands that he was trying to keep her from getting caught in his father's murderous toxicity.

    Western Energy
  • The minute it becomes clear that Striker's the one behind Stolas' kidnapping — and that Stolas might be in actual trouble — Blitzo's implied to be ready to drop the booster shot appointment for Loona before M & M step in to Take a Third Option.
  • Moxxie and Millie volunteering to take on the rescue mission so Blitzo can follow through with Loona's Hellbies shot appointment. Blitzo even asks if they'll be okay, to which Moxxie reassures him that he and his wife are a lethal pair.
  • While the Hellbies shot sub-plot is mostly hilarious, props to Blitzo for trying to reassure a clearly-freaked Loona about the whole ordeal, much like any proper parent would try to do for their kid.
    • It's brief, but Loona even smiles when Blitzo assures her that the shot is "just one little prick" and "she won't feel it".
    • In a stark contrast to "Seeing Stars", Loona never once attacks Blitzo when he's bringing her to the appointment, only getting violent when the sight of the needle sends her into a panic. And even then she's much more aggressive with the doctor than she is with Blitzo, only giving the latter a single slap with her tail.
    • Also the fact that Blitzo is committed to seeing the appointment through — partly because it's only possible to book said appointment every five years, but also because Loona sees a lot of trouble as part of her job that could expose her to some kind of pathogen.
  • A minor one, but at no point is the idea of Stella killing Octavia to prevent her from inheriting Stolas's wealth and possessions brought up, implying that she has at least some love for her daughter.
    • Also minor, but Stella offering to pay Striker more to hold off on killing Stolas. Despite her Fantastic Racism, she's willing to further reimburse her Imp assassin.
    • Andraelphus gets a minor mention for the same thing: When Octavia is mentioned, he specifically refers to her as Via. So far we've only heard Stolas and Blitzo call her that; maybe there's some affection there on Andraelphus' part, too.
  • It doubles as awesome, but seeing Moxxie and Millie being so in sync during their battle with Striker truly shows how strong their bond is-that one is already on the attack the second the other falters or needs back up.
  • Even though they don't know him very well, Moxxie and Millie are shown to be extremely concerned by Stolas' condition, not even thinking about treating their own injuries until they've helped him.
  • Mixed with Tear Jerker, but Blitzo taking the time to send a (poorly-spelled) get-well-soon text to Stolas while the latter is bedridden.
    • To add even more bittersweetness to the moment, from the bits that is seen of Stolas and Blitzo's correspondence, this is the only time that Blitzo has not merely given one of his terse and somewhat dismissive replies to Stolas messages, but proactively written one of his own.
    • Stolas' weak smile at seeing said text suggests that hearing from Blitzo is something he sorely needed.

    Unhappy Campers
  • While the nurse at the hospital is uncooperative with Blitzo's search for his sister, it seems to be coming from a place of concern. Considering this is a hospital in Hell, the nurse's compassion for her patient is astonishing.
Nurse: Blitz...she's got a job, now. A life. Don't fuck it up by finding her.
    • Also, the nurse is familiar enough with Blitzo to know he prefers to have the "O" in his name silent, and is willing to call him that if it means he'll listen to her.
  • Even if it was because he was busy looking for Barbie Wire and didn't have time to deal with the mission, Moxxie's excitement over Blitzo letting him be in charge of the hit is adorable.
  • Blitz spends the entire episode looking for his sister Barbie Wire to check up on her after she leaves rehab, driven by concern. Even after they've fought (verbally and physically), he still invites her for dinner to catch up. While Barbie doesn't want a thing to do with him, it's quite heartwarming to see how dedicated he is to his sister despite their differences.
    • Bonus points for not striking at her during their fight, only trying to get her off Moxxie.
  • For Millie this episode is a moment to shine. Even if it's brief, she had the admiration of the entire summer camp and what’s heavily implied to be the entire world.
Millie: Oh Moxxie that was so fun!! No wonder you sing all the time!
    • What's more, even if she and Moxxie had a quarrel about it, and ruining Moxxie's investigation, the fact that he still came to support her, proves their unconditional love for each other.
    • At the very end of the episode, take note of Millie's reactions to Blitzo's words — she's pleased for Moxxie when it looks like Blitzo's complimenting his leadership, then shoots Blitzo a glare when the latter clarifies that he's insulting Moxxie.

    Oops
  • It's a blink and miss it moment, but when Blitzo and Fizz run into each other on the street and they still hate each other, there's a moment where Fizz comments that running into each other twice in the last 15 years is still too much. If you freeze the video, he actually puts his hand on Blitzo's necklace - the one that very clearly used to belong to his mother. But Fizz doesn't do anything more than touch it with his fingertips. Even with everything between them, Fizz isn't that much of an asshole to do damage to something of that much importance to his former friend. Especially, given the implications, he must have known Blitzo's mother and probably only has good memories of her.
  • After episodes of Fizzarolli mocking his former friend Blitzo relentlessly as well as the episode having them be kidnapped by Crimson and Striker, not only do they escape, but their heart-to-heart conversation enables them to rekindle their childhood friendship with zero setbacks! A stark improvement over Blitzo's failed attempt at rekindling his relationship with his sister, Fizz even tells Ozzie he can have an Asmodean Crystal, thus enabling him to legally enter the mortal realm.
  • It may take a rewatch to notice, but as Striker is looking out Crimson's office window to see a crowd gathering around Blitzo and Fizzarolli fighting, a small imp taps on the back of a larger more muscular imp, who moves out of the way so as to give the smaller one and the audience the chance to see the two fight. It's very considerate of the bigger imp given it is Hell.
  • Stolas has a meeting with Ozzie to ask him to give Blitzo an Asmodean Crystal so that he can enter the mortal realm of his own volition. He all but directly states that he's doing this so to remove the power imbalance between him and Blitzo, since if Blitzo no longer needs Stolas's tome, then he'll no longer feel obligated to be Stolas's lover. He also states that he is not interested in a Love Potion to force Blitzo to love him. As much as he loves Blitzo, his sad demeanor suggests that he understands that this might result in Blitzo no longer wishing to interact with him.
  • During Stolas and Asmodeus' conversation, Asmodeus mentions the only reason he wont give Blitzo an Asmodean crystal is because Fizzarolli hates Blitzo (which is proven true when he immediately agrees to so do when Fizz asks otherwise). He also politely tells Stolas that the reason Fizz hates Blitzo is not his story to tell, showing he respects his partner's privacy.
    • The fact that he knows in the first place instead of just saying he didn't know the reason—instead of shutting Oz out completely like Blitzø tends to, Fizzarolli trusted his partner enough to share such a horrific memory with him.
  • Despite one being a demon prince and one being an imp, and also portraying their partnership in public as purely lustful, Fizzarolli and Asmodeus' relationship is actually as healthy and romantic if not more so than Moxxie and Millie's, where the two are equals who look out for each other. Asmodeus' even lets Fizzarolli go out in public without him or an escort to defend him, despite Ozzie's concerns, because Fizzarolli wants to go alone, a far cry from if Ozzie truly didn't care about Fizzy beyond having sex with him. It's like if Stolas and Blitzø managed to work things out between them and had things be not so rocky.
    • Their first scene together shows them sleeping in bed, possibly after a night of passion, with Fizz on top of Ozzie's chest. If you look closely, both are even smiling.
    • In Ozzie's office, he has a very big and very sexual portrait of himself and Fizzarolli.
    • When Ozzie receives a call from Fizz, he instantly smiles and plays the video. And once he realizes his lover has been taken hostage, he becomes enraged and protective.
      • Ozzie's phone screen is of him and Fizz doing a hand heart together.
    • When Blitzo bitterly states that royal demons will never care about imps like him and Fizz, the latter reflexively but then nervously states that it isn't always true. Yes, he's trying to keep up the appearance of him and Ozzie only being Friends with Benefits, but he also knows the Sin of Lust genuinely cares for him.
    • In the background of the below contract negotiation scene, Asmodeus is simply skeptical when he hears Crimson wants his factories...and then turns Oh, Crap! when it turns out it'd give Crimson the right to kill Fizz, clearly caring more about that than his material wealth.
    • Another sign of how much Ozzie truly respects Fizz: as he explains while patching Fizz up, Ozzie initially refused Stolas's request because it would mean helping Blitzo, whom (as far as he knows) Fizz hates. In response, Fizz (who has just begun patching up his relationship with Blitzo) okays the request, stating that Blitzo has earned it. Ozzie agrees without a second thought.
    • After reuniting and (possibly) killing Crimson's crooked lawyer, Ozzie is shown protectively carrying Fizz in his arms.
    • Ozzie taking special care when repairing Fizz's arm. Fizz has a terrified look when he broke out the scissors (implying medical PTSD from right after the fire), but Ozzie is gentle while cutting his sleeve to get to the prosthetic's base.
      • After his arm is fixed, Fizz suggests heading back to the bedroom for some canoodling, saying that the brush with criminals has left him with "a whole mess of new kinks". Asmodeus asks Fizz if he thinks that's a good idea after everything that happened, and Fizz coyly says yes, asking if Asmodeus thinks so too. Ozzie seductively replies, "Well, obviously~". Turns out Ozzie's strict stance on consent isn't just talk - of course he wants to be intimate with his beloved jester, but only after Fizz lets him know that he's up for it emotionally.
    • Compared to Ozzie, Fizz is about the size and general shape of a small housecat. Watching him bounce around the bedroom like a kitten with the zoomies before collapsing into Ozzie's arms is one of the most adorable things ever.
  • Hard to believe, but aside from sex jokes, occasional rudeness and his grudge towards his former best friend, Fizzarolli stayed as nice and innocent as he was in childhood, despite all of his trauma. He does admit that it was difficult and challenging at first, but Fizzarolli finding someone who cared so much about him has led to him feeling like he leads a good life.
  • Even after that rocky meeting at Ozzie's, Stolas and Asmodeus have no animosity towards each other. Asmodeus even was willing to help Stolas by giving him one of his crystals, and would've done it immediately if Fizzarolli didn't hate Blitz at the time. As soon as Fizz gave his permission, nothing was stopping him anymore.
    • Stolas helped Asmodeus with the 'contract' (really hostage) negotiations, even after Asmodeus refused his request, and without trying to make Asmodeus reconsider. Part of it could be that Asmodeus is so much higher than him in rank, and part of it could be the whole consent piece when it comes to Asmodeus' view of lust i.e. it should be freely given and without coercion, which is something that Stolas himself is guilty of. It's clear Stolas is much more aware of himself and how he interacts with people, especially when there is a power balance involved.
    • Also, after Fizz returned, Stolas didn't bother the loving couple, knowing better and allowed King of Lust and his lover to take down Crimson's sleazy lawyer by himself.
Stolas: (smirking, while leaving) Get fucked, little one.
    • It wasn't even that he knew Asmodeus would want to get revenge on the lawyer himself, but that he knew he didn't have any further business with the Sin. He asked Asmodeus for a favor and Asmodeus already said no. Trying to push for a change of heart while the Sin is relieved to see Fizz and emotionally distraught would be a coercive move that he probably knows wouldn't play well with Asmodeus. He stayed behind to help because he knew Asmodeus would not be in any fit state to negotiate properly (given how willing he was to sign a contract without reading it), and now that Fizz is back, it's time for Stolas to go.
  • After one last attack from Striker holding Fizz at gunpoint, Blitzo shoots an oil canister to set off an explosion. While Striker flees, Fizzarolli is surrounded by flames, and can't latch onto anything with his broken robotic arms. Blitz and Fizz are clearly reliving their trauma from their childhood, but this time Blitzo manages to safely pull his friend out. While Fizz is initially angry that Blitzo set off another explosion on him, he then smiles and hugs Blitzo with the latter tearfully hugging him back.
Fizzarolli: You blew me up again, you fucking prick!
Blitzo: I did. But this time I stuck around.
  • After so many episodes of Blitzo either making old grudges worse or causing other people to hate him, that fact that, for once, he actually managed to repair a relationship is heartwarming in and of itself and gives hope that other previous rocky relationships (i.e: Verosika and Stolas) can be mended.
  • It's subtle due to their frequent bickering and constant jabs at one another, but neither Blitzo nor Fizz ever try to betray the other. In most forms of media involving ex-friends turned bitter enemies, they’d leave the other or contemplate doing so if forced to work together. Here? It doesn't even cross their minds. Even before they start their reconciliation, Blitzo and Fizz cooperate and protect each other from the mobsters. Deep down and when the chips are down, neither was willing to leave the other.
    • Another subtle moment is how Blitzo rejects Striker's assertion that the former was better than Fizzarolli for not being a "purse dog". In most cases, Blitzo maybe would've agreed in a black humor moment, but he is nothing but disgusted at Striker's comment.
    • Adding to this scene, when Striker grabs Fizz's throat, Blitzo looks downright furious. Even before their reconciliation, Blitzo still cared for Fizz.
    • Blitzo saving Fizz from falling from a ladder, while the latter was too distracted by their bickering to notice.
    • During their escape when Fizz is talking to Blitzo about how his life is pretty good despite his accident when Blitzo mentions how Fizz has a good gig with Asmodeus to which Fizz wholeheartedly agrees and later tries to backpedal on his feelings for Asmodeus. Notice how Blitzo is smiling at Fizz when he is describing his "sexual" life with Asmodeus? Despite their animosity, Blitzo is not the slightest bit jealous of Fizzarolli and Asmodeus's relationship but is, in fact, happy that his childhood best friend has found love with someone who understands him.
  • After escaping the mobsters, both Fizz and Blitzo give genuine compliments to one another about their respective skills.
  • A small example, but when Blitzo finally explains what happened at the circus that day, Fizz questions why he never just came to visit him to explain all of this, outright telling him “even once would've been fine!”, implying that Fizz would've been willing to forgive Blitzo far sooner if they simply had the chance to talk it over instead of being distant for fifteen years. Blitzo proceeds to explain that he tried but was told by a third party that Fizz didn't want to see him — which turns out to have been a lie. While it's sad on some level, it also shows that the two genuinely wanted to reconcile long before this point and only failed because of forces outside of their control.
  • Fizz happy cries when he sees Ozzie again, and Ozzie does the same (if you look closely) when they hug.
  • It's very subtle but detail shows a picture between Ozzie and Bee in the former's home. They appear to have a close bond.

Mammon's Magnificent Musical Midseason Special (ft. Fizzarolli)
  • The opening of the episode shows us what Blitzo and Fizzarolli's friendship was like during their teen years and Blitzo is nothing but supportive of him, ranging from him claiming that he'll be a big shot like Mammon one day to defending him from his creepy fan, Arick. When Fizz begins to doubt himself after Arick starts harshly insulting him for turning down his "proposal", Blitzo reassures him that isn't the case.
Blitzo: Hey, hey, don't let one asshole get to you, 'kay? You're- you are plenty good enough.
  • Asmodeus reassuring Fizz at the beginning that he doesn't have to worry about being "perfect" for Mammon because Perfection Is Impossible, and that he deserves a break or vacation without having to fend off creeps constantly.
    • Asmodeus' line when he rephrases his actual feelings in regard to Fizz being in Mammon's clown contest: "I don't like how many creeps you have now, thanks to Mammon. And I don't like designing sex toys with your likeness for him. Pretty sure you feel the same"; this one line has numerous, subtle but still important subtext that really shows how much Asmodeus cares for and respects Fizzarolli.
      • Just the fact that Asmodeus is being honest about his feelings about Fizzarolli being in Mammon's competition. In most forms of media, when someone doesn't like something that their significant other is doing, they’ll either dance around it until they can’t take it anymore and/or even lie to get their partner to stop. But Asmodeus doesn't do that - when his initial plea doesn't work, he gets straight to the point of him not liking it but in a healthy and mature manner.
      • He doesn't put any blame on Fizzarolli for his own discomfort, instead putting it all rightly on Mammon's greedy shoulders.
      • Asmodeus' dislike over Fizzarolli as Mammon's brand figure not only comes from a place of concern and worry but respect. In the second sentence of his above-mentioned line, he mentions he does not like having sex toys in Fizz's likeness. Given he's the King of Lust, one would think he would hardly care but he does. Because it's his boyfriend using in such a way.
      • Asmodeus also makes sure to note that he's also aware that Fizzarolli doesn't like the sex-bots as well. He's acknowledging not only his own discomfort but his partner's.
  • It's brief, but Fizzarolli actually pronounces Blitzo's name as "Blitz" in this episode. It's nice to see Fizz respecting his old friend's wishes after rekindling their friendship.
  • While Blitzo makes it clear that he thinks the clown pageant is a waste of time, when Glitz and Glam insult and mock Fizz, Blitzo all but tells him to kick their asses in the contest.
  • Fizz meets a fan of his, a young deaf imp with broken horns (who, while unnamed in the episode, is said by Word of God to be named Oliver). While he'd previously been going through the motions, he pays genuine attention while signing the autograph and even demonstrates some knowledge of sign language to talk to him, telling him he can be whatever he wants.
    • Oliver's presence goes even deeper than that; the reason Fizz is shocked when he sees him is that he's there alone. Mammon was charging people an arm and a leg each for a chance to meet the clowns, without exception, and Fizz, upon seeing a lone child with no parent or chaperone nearby who could've paid the entry fee for him, connected the dots and realized that he must've spent every last cent he had for this one opportunity to meet him… just like he had all those years ago with Mammon. Only unlike back then, Fizz went above and beyond to make sure that that Oliver, that one, true fan, got everything that he paid for and more.
    • Oliver also happens to be the only one there wearing something Fizzarolli-themed. Everyone else is wearing Mammon-themed merch.
    • Fizz is even friendly to the rest of the fans as well—though he has every reason to be rude or standoffish to people openly flashing him and crowding in close, he instead greets them all humbly and with an attempt to connect.
  • Asmodeus openly admitting his relationship with Fizz in front of an entire circus full of demons, and in general being as supportive as he can while also trying his best to break Mammon's grip over the imp. What's more, Asmodeus makes it clear that his love for Fizz is genuine, and that Fizz doesn't owe Mammon anything.
    • The crowd's reaction to Ozzie's Love Confession? Becoming an immediate battalion of Shipper on Deck and happily tweeting about it.
    • Crimson did call Ozzie's relationship with Fizz "the worst-kept secret in all of Hell." Nearly everyone in the crowd probably already knew or at least suspected. Which makes their reaction all the more heartwarming, because it's acceptance. One of Ozzie's main worries was being seen as a hypocrite for being the incarnation of carnal hedonism while having a loving, monogamous relationship. It turns out nobody thinks that at all. The King of Lust has fallen in love and everybody is happy for him.
  • "Crooked" is a sweet, simple song where Asmodeus and Fizz admit that while they both have their flaws and insecurities, they'll love each other anyway.
    • The entire scene before the song - Fizz is in the throes of a panic attack, shaking and hyperventilating as he desperately tries to calm down before his final performance. Asmodeus then rushes into his dressing room to check on him, and eventually talks him down. Fizz reveals that he's terrified that he’ll lose Ozzie if if he loses the competition, his insecurity over his real, “ugly” appearance and status as an imp leading him to believe that the only reason Ozzie’s with him is because of his celebrity status making him “at [his] best,” and that Mammon’s patronage made him who he is. Ozzie quickly and lovingly sets him straight.
"Fizz, Mammon didn't do shit. You already were this. You'd be this no matter what! You are the most inspiring demon I have ever known, and meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me. I adore your inventiveness, your attitude, your resilience. Aaaaand you're just the cutest little thing alive. (nuzzles Fizz's cheek) Also, you are a waaaay better performer than Mammon ever was, and thaaat's just facts."
    • A little fridge heartwarming: Asmodeus mentions that he wouldn't be at the competition to protect Fizz, which is part of the reason he called Blitzo in the first place. So how did he show up in Fizz's dressing room so fast? Blitzo knew that Fizz was having a full-on breakdown and that Asmodeus was the best one of the two of them to handle it, so he probably called him as soon as Fizz ran off. And from his response time when Arick burst in, Blitzo was obviously right outside the door the entire time, just in case Fizz needed him.
  • Fizz's song "Two Minutes Notice":
    • The entire song is Fizzarolli gleefully telling Mammon that he can Take This Job and Shove It, finally freeing himself from his abusive boss' vicelike grip.
    • As the song progresses, he slowly rips off parts of his outfit (sleeves, cuffs, part of his shirt, and finally his collar), joyfully embracing the parts of himself that Mammon wanted him to hide to make himself more marketable.
    • Asmodeus tosses Fizz a torch and looks on as his lover performs his heart out, clearly proud of him.
    • Halfway through the song, the sigils on the stage change from Mammon's sigil to Asmodeus' sigil.
    • Fizz finds a moment after the song to sign "Thank you" to the aforementioned young fan.
    • At one point, Fizz suddenly starts being humped by a Hellhound fan. When said Hellhound's head is promptly blasted off, Fizz looks up and we see Blitzo smiling down at him with a smoking gun.
      • On that note, Fizz gives Blitzo a genuine smile of appreciation for having his back.
  • The fact that Asmodeus not only called Blitzo to help in convincing Fizz to sooner quit his employment under Mammon for the sake of his health, but to also bodyguard him, showing that even if Blitzo and Fizz hasn't 100% patched things up yet, Asmodeus still trusts Blitzo with Fizz's life and health after the events of the prior episode.
    • Blitzo earns that trust. Besides firing back at shittalkers, he immediately asks if Fizz is ok when the latter is having a panic attack, pulls a gun on Arick, and in general takes his bodyguard duty incredibly seriously.
    • And Blitzo doesn't make any monetary demands from Asmodeus to bodyguard Fizz. He could've easily bargained for a high amount of money given he's talking to the King of Lust. But, Blitzo doesn't. He didn't even take longer than a second to agree to help. Really shows how he cares about Fizz's safety more than money.
  • While mostly just amusing, there's something to be said about Blitzo nonchalantly but viciously firing back whenever someone tries to shittalk Fizz. He even mouthed off to Mammon right then and there for trying to weight-shame the guy.
  • At the end of the episode, when Blitzo asks if Fizz or Ozzie is on top, Fizz gives him a dirty look for being a Moment Killer, but Ozzie gives a little smile, showing that he knew Blitzo meant no real harm by the comment.
  • If you look closely, you can see how Ozzie looks close to happy crying during his and Fizz's hug near the end of the episode.
  • Combine with the past episode; with the creepiness of the Fizzaroli sexbots, Mammon's grabbiness and greed, and Fizz's complete lack of self-esteem and fright when confronted with the more sexual of his Loony Fan contingent, it seems pretty plausible some very horrible things have happened to him... but he's never anything but happy, expressive, and confidently sexual around Ozzie. He feels totally safe with him.
