Chapter 1

• Hilda is about to accept her fate at the hands of the police, but Rio saves her and carries her to safety. It was the first time in years that Hilda had actually felt cared for and protected, silently begging him not let her go.

Chapter 2

• While in their cell and sentenced to be executed, Ange apologized to Momoka for getting her involved and wished she was never a norma, but Momoka was glad to serve her even though she was going to die by her side. Ange was tearfully happy to have Momoka by her side as she hugged her.
  Ange: Momoka, I'm so sorry. If you hadn't been my maid, if I had left you behind at Arzenal, if I wasn't a Norma, none of this would be happening to you.
  Momoka: Don't say such things, Lady Angelise. I'm happy I was able to serve you. And if doing so means I must die by your side, then I do so gladly.
  Ange: Momoka, Thank you for everything.

Chapter 3

• Hilda saw the news about Ange's capture and being sentenced to death by her brother Julio. Realizing that Ange has been betrayed by her family and will be executed for being a Norma, she ultimately decides to help Ange despite the bad blood between those two.

Chapter 4

• Constable Schwartz stopped his fellow officer for attempting to rape Hilda and states that nobody deserves that, not even a Norma. Because of this, Rio has sparred Schwartz from being killed.
• When, Hilda tells Rio why she wants to go to Misurugi and save Ange it reminds him about his failure to protect his friend Sarah. He then decides to help Hilda and show her that he can be trusted.
• Inspector Schwarz lets Rio and Hilda escape in gratitude for sparing his life and is able to keep his superiors from finding out what he did.

Chapter 5

• Tusk appears at the Misurugi capital and vows to save Ange and Momoka at all costs. But he was not alone; he brought some friends to devise a plan to save Ange and Momoka.
• Hilda cooks breakfast for Rio after saving her life. Rio offers Hilda to come with him to Neo-Zion.

Chapter 6

• As they were about to executed, Ange requests Julio to spare Momoka's life by exiling her to Arzenal.
• Constable Schwartz was relieved that he was alive and able to return to his wife and daughter. He watches the live news on Ange's execution and is glad that Ange is rescued. He also has sympathy for Ange's parents and questions whether he would do the same to his daughter if she were a Norma.

Chapter 7

• Ange thanks Hilda for saving her life, but Hilda claims she only did it to return the favor after helping her escape from Arzneal.
  Ange: Hey Hilda?
  Hilda: What?
  Ange: Thanks.
  Hilda: Well, you looked so pathetic I couldn't help feeling sorry for you. And I guess I did owe you anyway for helping me escape Arzenal.
• Momoka thanked the Wild Pack, Tusk, Rio, and Hilda at the island while Ange was cleaned up and Kat treated her injuries.
• As they parted ways, Rio assured Hilda that they would see each other again, and asked if she'd cook him breakfast again.
• Back at the island, Tusk and Rio share a drink and share their personal stories regarding Ange and Hilda. It is revealed that Tusk and Rio have known each other for a couple of years.

Chapter 8

• Vivian is the only person who was nice to Ange and Hilda when they got back. Since this is Vivan were talking about.
• Hilda shares a heart-to-heart moment with Ange about her tragic reunion and how she first met Rio.
• Inspector Emma revealed they hadn't been executed because Misty requested leniency for them.

Chapter 9

• Momoka was happy that Rio (disguised as Captain Joseph Algren) agreed to help her by sneaking some good food to Ange and Hilda while in solitary. Rio also asks Momoka to assist him in being his maid and secretary.
• At Jasmine Mall, the Inspector and Rio noticed that the storage room had been open and went to check. Rio finds Saila doing her Magical Girl cosplaying, and is willing to keep a secret and cover for her.
• Under the guise of faux hospitality, when "Captain Algren" meets with Ange and Hilda, he offers them fruit he brought from the mall. An apple for Ange, and an orange for Hilda, remembering that she claimed not to like apples. Hilda admits to Ange that she actually hates oranges but eats it anyway and says she somehow feels better.
• Inspector Emma was expecting punishment from the Captain, and Rio admittedly feels sorry for Emma, knowing that she's been spoon fed society's propaganda regarding the Norma her entire life. To make her feel better, he told her there was no need for punishment and complimented her on managing Arsenal for a long time with only this one incident occurring.

Chapter 11

• In the Flashback, Jasmine kept Sarah's bracelet during her arrival until she bought it back. Sarah told Jasmine that her bracelet was a gift from her friend, a human named Aaron and she believes in him never to forget about her. As Months pass, Sarah begins to adjust to her life in Arzenal; she meets Zola, who stands up for her against bullies, and Ersha. As they spend time playing with each other, Sarah helps Hilda by encouraging her never to give up on seeing her mother again and to loosen up and play with the others. Years later, Sarah would volunteer to take Zola's place after her injuries and requested Jasmine for two favors.
• Rio managed to get Ange and Hilda proper meals and a shower.
• Hilda hugs Rio after he tells her about his witnessing of the Para-Mail mission where a pilot was brutally killed by a DRAGON.

Chapter 12

• Chris believes Rosalie will leave her for Capt Algren (Rio), but Rosalie assures Chris that she'll never abandon her and they promised to each other to stay together.
• After a devastating moment, Rio sees Sarah's final video message; it gives him the strength to continue living and shows that she believes humans and Norma can live peacefully. Hilda sang her mother's song to herself after Ange gloated and found that it helped lighten some lingering hurt she was carrying. Rio overhears Hilda's song and it helps him regain his resolve to keep fighting.

Chapter 13

• In Rio's dream, a mysterious figure gave him comfort words after he lost Sarah and encouraged showed the Normas and Dragons that they could make a difference.
  Aura: I have been watching you and those like you for a long time. Despite being his creation, you have broken free of his logic and embraced your own. You reject the empty prosperity and false peace he offers in exchange for a life of suffering and conflict. Because of that, you were able to hear me when others could not.
  Rio: So then, you're his enemy too? But if so then why don't you help us? Why aren't you fighting him?
  Aura: He has bound me and left me unable to do so. Even appearing to you in this form strains the limits of my power. And now, my children are coming. And when they do, they will slaughter all who stand in their way. You must show them the truth. That your kind have the potential to be more than his dolls. That you are greater than even you know.
• Given her status as Arzenal's mother figure. Ersha is kind enough to pay respects to Lisa at Squad 2's funeral for her and laid flowers on her headstone
• Jasmin gave the bracelet back to Rio which gave him comfort and closure in honor of Sarah.
• Inspector Emma, who wears make-up as a sign of affection towards him, finds out Captain Algren is grieving his loss and wants to cheer him up. Maggie, who often teases her, suggests comforting him by cooking a steak.
• As the DRAGO Ns attack, Rio saves Olivier when a Schooner barges in through the Command Center window.
• Rio saved Hilda and Momoka just in time before one of the Dragons was going to eat them.

Chapter 14

• Rio ordered one of the base personel to escort Ange and Hilda to the hangar, and another to get Momoka to a shelter while the rest of followed him to take care of the DRAGO Ns inside Arzenal.
• Rio saved Ms.Mary and the school children from dragons.
• Rio is about to sacrifice himself to protect everyone in the hangar until Hilda manages to save him from the enemy Paramail.
• As the 1st Squad returns to Arzenal hangar, Hilda finds Rio, who is heavily injured. Abandoning all pretense for his cover, she throws herself on him, begging him to wake up.
• Everyone at the hanger begins to wonder why a human had saved a bunch of Norma even though they look down on them. Jasmine decided to tell everyone about Rio's identity and how he was actually an ally of Norma.

Chapter 15

• Everyone in Arzenal was surprised and shocked that both Rio and the Network are humans who want to help the Normas.
• After their argument, Rio comforts Hilda for making her worry about his life and swears that he'll never take a risky move like that again.
• Rio bumps into a little girl named Cynthia as fixes her plush toy with his Mana and a loose string from his shirt. He even entertains a group of schoolchildren with Mana-infused card tricks.
• Ersha spent time with Rio while drinking tea. They both knew Sarah in the past as she told him all about her in Arzenal. Rio was glad that Sarah had friends who had been looking out, Ersha kiss him on the cheek as gratitude for entertaining the children and glad to talk with him.
• Pamela, Hikaru, and Olivier gave Rio a bag of hamburgers and cold beers as a token of gratitude for saving their lives.
• At the Beach, Rio shares hamburgers with Hilda after spending time in confinement.

Chapter 16

• Rio comforts Salia after being lied to by Jill and Villkiss's rejection. Salia helped Rio by guiding him to the Aurora as she wanted to join the Network.
