Embryo and Dark are using Rio as an example of what happens to those who choose to challenge his world order.
Beware, you have entered a world of nightmares.Chapter 1
- A group of police beat up Hilda during her terrible reunion with her mother and was about to take her before Rio showed up.
Chapter 2
- It revealed Dark is working with Embryo.
Chapter 3
- Dark found the wood cabin ordered Schwartz and his fellow officer to capture Rio and Hilda.
Chapter 4
- A couple of police officers caught Hilda and nearly raped her if it weren't for Schwartz.
- As Dark grabs Rio, he beats him to a bloody pulp and tortures him for information and is about to kill him if it weren't for Hilda.
Chapter 5
- Embryo gives Dark punishment for his failure, and subjects him to mind torture. It shows that not even Dark is safe from Embryo.
Chapter 6
- At the execution ground, Sylvia tortures and punishes Ange with a whip.
- Ange witnessed the people of the Misurugi, showing off their true color as they enjoyed killing Norma and watching her die.
- Hilda was about to shoot Sylvia in the head if it weren't for Rio. I know you want to save Ange, but that's dark.
Chapter 8
- Hilda has a nightmare where she finds herself in chains and naked while hanging from a wooden arch. She saw her mother and her sister scared and afraid; cops were about to kill her, and the people of the Misurugi wanted to see her dead. Hilda begged Zola to help her, but Zola refused as she saw her as a plaything. Rio appears to save her but ends up beaten to death by a bunch of cops, and Hilda calls his name.
- Colonel Felix Ackerman. His introductory scene establishes that everyone on Arzenal have a lot to fear from his visit. Emma Bronson greatly fears his wrath over Ange and Hilda's escape and kidnapping of Princess Misty, which could result in her being significantly demoted to janitorial tasks. Ackerman has also argued that Arzenal should increase its human presence after the last attempted Norma insurrection, and he suspects that there is another one being planned.
Chapter 10
- Dark had stalked Riza, aka Lizardia when she sent a message to her leader as he reported to Embryo about their movement.
Chapter 11
- Lisa, a member of the second squad, was brutally crushed in her cockpit by the jaws of a DRAGON. Rio puked in the sink bathroom after witnessing it, no doubt once again powerless to do anything but watch.
Chapter 15
- Arzenal was nearly destroyed during the Dragon Attack, losing one-third of its residents.
- Embryo plan is set into motion as Julio begins to mobilize to attack Arzenal while Dark is bringing out Bareta, his own Paramail.
Chapter 16
- Salia was about rape Rio as she is craving for affection, but it was averted.
- Dark destroys one of the Network submarines thus knocking down their communication as Embryo plans to attack Arzenal.
- Ange, Rio, and everyone witness the DRAGON being burned by Jasmine and realize that they were killed humans all along.
