- After Grant is killed, everyone who he had infected drops dead. This makes sense with the people that had a slug parasite in them because of the hive mind, but how did that also kill the people that had the Horror Hunger? Brenda and the lady in the basement were obviously not being controlled by Grant and should've kept eating until either they got Brenda-sized and burst or Pardy killed them.
- The Horror Hunger people were also probably driven by the hive mind as well. They were perhaps just able to retain a bit more independence of mind during their particular part of the process (like a secondary intelligence to Grant's primary intelligence or something).
- As heavily mutated as they were, it's likely that their bodies were only being kept alive by the slugs gestating inside them. Once the slugs were dead, they died too.
