• I get that Monsters Inc. is a very prestigious scare-energy institute, but since Monsters Inc. no longer does scare energy, and there are other places that still do scare energy, why hasn't Tylor quit and moved on to one of these other places? Tylor was so good at Monsters University that he could easily get a Scarer job anywhere.
  • It's unanswered for now, but the Season consistently hints that Tylor has some reason to work specifically at Monsters Inc., rather than transferring to another Scream-using power company. Even in the season finale, Tylor discusses the possibility of Monsters Inc. transferring back to scream as a reliable energy source, but never even raises the possibility of himself switching to another company that still uses it. Perhaps another season will explain why he wants to work at Monsters Inc. specifically.
  • Maybe every single power company, not just Monsters Inc., switched from scare energy to laughter energy?
    • It is stated in the show that other companies such as Fear Co. are still using scare energy.
  • Of course, he could simply want to join Monsters Inc out of brand loyalty. Granted that may not have been enough for certain individuals (Professor Knight was a Fear Co. alumnus, and Johnny was one for Monsters U but went over to Fear Co.), but for Tylor (at the time) it seemed a priority.
• So, in the original film, could Tylor and the rest of MIFT been at the party off-screen? Or was that impossible due to Tylor not having been invented yet?
  • Tylor and MIFT might not have been invented in our world at the end of the first movie, but as far as the story goes they've all existed for years in-universe. Yes, it is possible they were on the Laugh Floor at the end of the movie, just out of sight from the viewing audience.
    • If onenotice, Tylor's station seems to be at the very far edge of the floor (since you see the wall on the left of his door). So with Sulley and Mike being at the entrance, it'd be perfectly plausible that he was there at the end of the first movie, just horribly out of view because of how big the floor is.
• How was FearCo. able to get Ben's door from Monsters Inc.?
  • Randall probably and obviously stole it.
• Why is Val mad to see Tylor return? She really missed him.
  • Because they’re still mad at him.
    • But she was unsure. She even felt bad.
• What will happen to Claire and the kids now that Johnny is in prison?
  • Not really a scratcher. Maybe something will happen during season 3.
• Why is George Sanderson still in a comb from the 2319 incident in season 2 which is after the end of the first film where he grew back his fur?
  • It's possible he shaved himself and wore the collar to look funnier after he became a jokester.
• How was Johnny able to get the exact door Randall was trapped in. Of course this wouldn't be the same answer to the scratcher above because Randall is where he was ended up in the first movie, the trailer where Bug City was under.
• If Carla was on Laugh Floor D in the series, where was she during the events of the first film?
  • A different Scare floor maybe?
