Headscratchers / Crash Twinsanity

• Why didn't Victor and Moritz use their reality-warping abilities to turn the tides in the final battle?
• I've always found it strange that Crunch wasn't involved in this game except for his small cameo. I get that they were focusing on Crash and Cortex, but they do give Coco at least a few lines of dialogue and a small role in the story. Why would they exclude Crunch when previously he was a part of the main cast? In Twinsanity it feels like he was an after thought.
