The Butcher Bird: Kaneki, and any ghoul by extension, gets a combination of Black Eyes of Crazy and Red Eyes, Take Warning when sufficiently pushed or when using their abilities. Vinci, after implanting himself with the King's Heart, has his eyes glow gold whenever he's ticked off.
Child of the Storm:
- Heroic example: Harry develops this in the first book with his eyes alternately flashing gold or outright burning gold, with a compelling, echoing voice, like two voices speaking at once occasionally thrown in for good measure. However, for all that it isn't a sign of incipient evil, it is generally noted to be extremely unnerving, something he exploits in the sequel for the intimidation factor.
- The Dark Phoenix particularly the latest one, Harry, goes from looking fairly normal to a Humanoid Abomination with an unnaturally elongated face, a severe case of Throat Light and Glowing Eyes of Doom.
- Grey Court Vampires get more visibly predatory when wounded or hungry, with elongated fangs, elongated faces, and glowing red eyes.
Downplayed in Voyages of the Wild Sea Horse, where it's implied that the bearer of the Bat-Bat Fruit, Model Type: Vampire normally has Cute Little Fangs and crimson eyes, but when they get particularly angry, aggressive or otherwise excited, those Cute Little Fangs morph into More Teeth than the Osmond Family and the eyes start to glow.
