Clara takes the "throwing your drink at the Jerk-Ass" clichƩ to a whole new level.

    In General
  • Iruma's constant failure at not standing out.
  • Kalego in general. He tries to turn Babylus School into an institute of learning, but everything keeps him at bay. From being accidentally turned into a familiar by Iruma, being assigned to the Misfit Class, to getting annoyed by Sullivan, Robin, and Clara's antics. And as a cherry on top, he's voiced by Yoshikage Kira and Suguru Kamoshida in English, who is Kalego's polar opposite.
  • Ameri's reaction when reading a Manga called "Hatsukoi Memories". She honestly believes the manga has some weird magical charm.
    • Even better, other demons react the exact same way when they get exposed to Hatsukoi Memories. In one case, Thoth, knower of every piece of Netherworld lore, can't get enough of Iruma's retellings and begs him to come back and visit.
  • Every time Sullivan introduces Iruma as his Grandson when it's common knowledge he's not even married, much less having a kid who could give him a grandchild. He usually brushes it off with an equally absurd explanation.

    Anime

Season 1

  • The Establishing Series Moment: Iruma gets kidnapped by a demon called Sullivan who looks very sinister and informs him that his parents sold his soul, and now he's taking him to his mansion. Iruma screams in fear - only to appear in a chair, wearing a tot, while the demon begs Iruma to become his grandson.
  • The familiar summoning scene is made all the more hilarious by how utterly deadpan Kalego is when looking up at Iruma - and then his reaction when he realizes what happened.
  • At the start of episode 6 in a blink-and-miss moment when Sullivan uses the crop on the horses, one of them reacts with rage and bloodshot eyes, but the other is blushing and squinting in pleasure.
  • When Belial notes the lack of a family resemblance between Iruma and Sullivan during a meeting, Levi asks Sullivan if he kidnapped the kid, and Sullivan simply replies "no comment".
  • When Asmodeus and Clara have their cook-off to see who can make food Iruma likes more to cheer him up, Azz wonders to himself what strange things Clara had been doing to prepare the night before, and the scene briefly cuts back to the end of the song-and-dance number she and her family had about cooking with love a few minutes earlier in the episode, in which they are dancing around a cauldron full of animal parts in such a way that it almost looks like a demonic ritual of some kind.

Season 2

  • When Kalego goes to do home visits for parent teacher meetings, the anime doesnā€™t miss the opportunity to rope the stern, serious, and dignified professor into one of the Valac familyā€™s wacky songs.
    • The end of the song has them dancing around him like itā€™s some demonic ritual like how they danced around the cauldron in the end of their last song in season 1, except this time they have maracas!

Season 3

  • When Sullivan informs Bachiko that Iruma is a human her reaction is priceless. *Beat* The serious music cuts out, she takes three more beats including staring at the audience asking "what?" to process what her brain just heard, and then cut to The Scream of her yelling "WHAT?!?!." official clip from Crunchyroll here.

    Series
  • Iruma learns that demons consider humans food, and makes it his goal to not stand out, which he fails at miserably:
    • First up Sullivan makes Iruma do the freshman speech to which Iruma reads the forbidden curse Sullivan prepared which could have exploded his body if said wrongly.
    • He is then challenge by Asmodeus for stealing the spotlight away for him. Iruma dodges all of his attacks for several minutes and his apology is translated into insults by other demons. The fight ends with Iruma accidentally performing a German Suplex on Asmodeus which is put in the school newspaper.
  • When Iruma is given the chance to have a private meeting with idol Kuromu, who is actually Kerori in disguise. Kerori desperately tries to prevent Iruma from discovering her identity which naturally fails since it turns out Iruma was able to put some of the points together before their private meeting.
  • Ameri's explanation to her dad about what she's been doing with Iruma. He was so thoroughly destroyed by the thought of them dating that his glasses broke three times (even Iruma wonders how that's even possible).
    • Not helped is how Ameri described their activities; Not wanting to admit that she and Iruma have been reading the "Forbidden Texts" (Shoujo Manga), she claims that they were "Talking about love and the future".
  • When the magical beast is about to explode, Ronove ends up getting so pissed at having the attention taken away from him that he activates his bloodline ability and draws all attention to him...including the impending explosion that's now aimed squarely at him. It's only then Ronove realizes he didn't quite think this through (fortunately, Iruma saves him).
Ronove: Ronove did not think this all the way through...
  • Kalego's visiting all the Misfit Class students at home and speaking to their parents gets even funnier in the anime. He has to deal with two song and dance numbers from Clara's home, a marriage proposal, and various other wacky antics. And then he gets to Iruma's home...and finds out Opera's also still home. Hilarity Ensues as Kalego, Badass Teacher with the Face of a Thug hides behind Iruma in pants-shitting terror the entire time.
  • The Harvest Festival Arc:
    • The Misfit Class completing the training their tutors set up for them and the tutors are genuinely happy for their students. However, this also makes the tutors more driven to push their students to the bring and so the tutors give them even harsher training.
    • Lied and Iruma getting information on the Legend Leaf from Kerori:
      • When the boys approach her and Kamui for help, they hope that trading information will be enough, but Kerori desires something more. She needs a release or she will go into her Evil Cycle. Her non-negotiable request is Lied and Iruma dress as female demdols and do a song and dance. Kerori has such a rush from this show because at her core, she is a major demdol fan too. In the anime, Iruma selects the song he performed with Kerori at her show.
      • In a callback to Iruma learning about Kerori, the Sukima then showed Iruma unsure how to get into a dress and expects Azz to be in the same boat, but Azz was in one after his helping his mother out. Now the shoe is on the other foot in the sukima for this arc. Lied is the one unsure how to get dressed and is shocked at Iruma's ease of putting on the dress leaving him to stare questionably at Iruma as Iruma tries to explain away the situation.
    • The Dorodoro brothers challenge Asmodeus and Sabnock for taking their master away. However the Dorodoro brothers' master is actually General Furfur instead of Shichirou Balam who actually trained Asmodeus and Sabnock. This results in some hilarious misunderstandings such as that Shichirou is a drunkard and a womanizer and that Furfur is a creepy man with no sense of personal space. Complete with Imagine Spot. This misunderstanding is sustained through the end of the competition.
    • Balam and Stolas are so excited to see the Legend Leaf, they rush over and gush about it's amazing appearance, and the the fact this mysterious plant looks more like a preshaped foil balloon on a green stick than some actual plant means everyone is even more shocked it is the real deal.
    • After the initial count of all points are done, with Orobas in winning by 8,000 points over Leid and Iruma, Jazz calls out the teachers for forgetting about the Vase of Endings. The teachers themselves told everyone it alone is worth 20,000 points but failed to add it to Iruma and Leid's totals. Stolas and the others sheepishly admit they were so excited to see the Legend Leaf they forgot about the Vase.
    • After the Festival the teachers all gather together for a party of their own. As a tradition (and a bit of hazing) the newest teacher is expected to find the place and take care of things. Robin is this year's turn.
      • Kalego is forced to come against his will and says he doesn't care what he drinks as long as it's strong, but after finding out that Sullivan is picking up the tab, he immediately orders the most expensive drink on the menu.
      • Robin breaks Mononoki away from her grandfather Morax, who is keeping her away from the other male teachers, and places her next to Kalego, to her flustered excitment while Kalego doesn't comment on it.
      • Kalego states that when he became a new teacher, Dali was his mentor at teaching. Three teachers straight out don't believe this until Balam affirms it to be true.
      • After the party is over, only Kalego, Balam, Mononoki, and Robin are on their feet, the rest of the teachers present are passed out drunk. Kalego reminds Robin that clean up is part of his duties and must get everyone home safe and sound before they leave Robin to the mess.
  • Lied finding out about Kuromu and "Irumi":
    • Kerori forgot that Lied wasn't in on the secret and just up and transforms into Kuromu (along with Iruma into Irumi) right in front of him. This causes him to be so shocked his face leapt off of his head.
    • Lied ends up screeching so loud the entire school hears. They then proceed to completely ignore him after they realized it was Lied who screamed. Apparently he has enough of these outbursts that no one cares anymore.
    • After getting over the initial shock, we see him now holding a mountain of Kuromu and Irumi signed merch. Evidently even though he knows it's Iruma, he still thinks Irumi is cute.
  • In ch. 46, Ameri's comical nightmare that Iruma's goal was to dress in girl's clothes and perform on stage... turned out to be actual foreshadowing, 140 chapters later. For extra hilarity, Ameri ends up performing alongside him.
  • Going into the Akudol Games, Kerori is short a member for Team Kuromu, even after forcibly recruiting Iruma and Lied to compete as Irumi and Lindy, because her rival Gyari sedueed the 4th member into defecting. Kerori despairs because there's no way they'll find somebody who's cute, athletic and already in on their secret on such short notice. Then Ameri (doing volunteer security work at the Games) walks in the door. Kerori strips Ameri and forces her into an idol costume before even explaining what's going on. And the explanation comes in the form of an impromptu song and dance routine by her, Iruma and Lied.
  • Gyari immediately hates "Irumi" as a competitor for Kuromu's heart. Iruma's response is...a hilariously angry pout at being called ugly.
  • Everyone's reaction to "Irumi" at the Akudol Games:
    • Iruma tells Sullivan and Opera to not watch the games, while he is helping out a friend. Naturally they end watching it out of curiosity and Sullivan's reaction to order Opera to record everything and immediately buy a better television.
    • Kalego upon seeing "Irumi" just wants to not talk about it and tells Balam change the channel.
    • Asmodeus and Clara are just in full fandom mode and explode at Kuromu's "proposal" to him.
      • Also, they both immediately recognize "Melie" as Ameri, but have no idea that "Lindy" is Lied. Though Asmodeus has an intense desire to burn "her" for taking his spot at Iruma's side.
    • Later because "Irumi" used archery at the games, the Barbatos Clan Head - having seen the archery skills - wants to get Irumi married to a member of the Barbatos Clan, possibly Robin, with Bachiko having to backpedal to avoid that and then going to yell at Iruma for the whole idol thing.
  • Ameri and Iruma are such high-tier Cordon Bleugh Chefs, they wear Opera out with exhaustion.
  • In Chapter 199, when Iruma is learning the arts of servitude from Opera, his being a Cordon Bleugh Chef is called back to as he is to sit back and just watch Opera cook a meal while wearing a sign saying, "Cooking Ban."

  • When Ameri goes to welcome Chima to Babyls, Chima announces that she will not lose to Ameri. Ameri thinks this is her ambitions in academics. Then Iruma appears, Chima blushes and zooms straight to him, and Ameri is made terrifyingly aware that Chima was not talking about academics. The fact that Iruma ended up being more dense than depleted uranium when Chima made the same declaration to him didn't help matters (nor the fact that he encouraged her without knowing the context...right in front of Ameri).
  • Chapter 217. When the day comes that Kalego and Iruma can finally terminate the familiar contract, Kalego reveals that the process requires Iruma not summon Kalego for a full 13 hours. With an incredible amount of Genre Savvy, Kalego realizes that given Iruma's luck, something will happen to cause a summoning that would continue the contract. Thus he decides the best way to ensure this happens correctly is to stick right beside Iruma the whole time. Which apparently includes hanging no further than 5 feet away from Iruma for the whole schoolday and shadowing him to all of his classes. Causing teacher and student alike to be filled with dread at seeing him suddenly hanging around.
    • This followed by Kalego being proven right, as they are suddenly bombarded by all sides from the other members of the Misfit Class trying to slap a summoning sticker on Iruma. Reasons ranging from finding it hilarious to try, to having formed a betting pool on whether or not the contract will be extended or terminated, and even just being pissed that Kalego has been hogging Iruma's attention the entire day and trying to wrestle Iruma away from him (the lattermost being largely Asmodeus and Clara).
  • Chapter 219
    • Iruma and Kalego have broken the familiar contract, and Kalego is helping Iruma to summon a new familiar. They await in suspense as the paper burns... And Kalego gets summoned again. Much to their utter shock. Kalego immediately begins panicking and demanding Iruma put a stop to it, while Iruma tries desperately to shove him back down. Only for Opera to appear, grab Kalego by the legs, and shove him completely up through the summoning circle. Restarting the contract for another year.
    • It gets funnier when you realize that Balam and Opera both know that Iruma is a human (and what would happen if he used a summoning circle) and both of them left Kalego alone with Iruma knowing he would be summoned again. Especially Opera, who likely did this on purpose.
  • Chapter 156: In preparation for the Music Festival, Kalego is recruited to teach Iruma and Purson how to play music. While teaching them to play "Lilith's Red Carpet", the most crotchety, stone faced teacher tells the boys it's a song about love. Prompting Purson to burst out in laughter at the sheer ridiculousness of the moment. Kalego himself is embarrassed about it as well.
  • Chapter 225:
    • When showing the promotional video for the Heartbreaker Event, the Misfit's arrival to protect a first year has them all posing in a group, Agares is covering his ears in discomfort at the noisiness of the moment.
    • Ameri was totally composed when announcing the 2nd year Rank up event...until Chima came up. Then her mind immediately veered off into worrying about her getting closer to Iruma (including joining his Battler) while she has to sit on the sidelines. She then gets completely destroyed when she sees that Chima had "persuaded" Iruma to hold hands with her by telling him it's a rule of the competition (Ameri is so tall that if Iruma doesn't lift his arms, she will reach the boy's elbow).
    • Lied is confident in his skills and is assuring his teammates they will be fine and to trust their senpai. But not a second after the bell rings to signal the start of the competition does Robin snipe one of Lied's first-years. Robin then announces himself, to Lied's horror.
Robin: I found you, my student!
      Lied: screams in panic.
      End of chapter.''
  • Chapter 226:
    • It would appear that there are some interesting rumors going around about the Misfit Class.
      • Iruma has at least ten girlfriends.
      • Crocell has sixty servants.
      • Andro using his "ferocious familiar" to get students to give him money.
    • Amidst all the rumors is one teacher stating that they heard Clara is happy and well, with another teacher replying how that's good to hear.
  • Chapter 230:
    • After Shiida rips free from Iruma's arrows after the latter successfully pinned her to the wall, she decided to attempt to educate Iruma on how there are two types of demons and that he was the type who didn't want to directly hit his enemies. Iruma, however, is more distracted by the fact that her clothes have been ripped off and that now she is nearly naked, causing Shiida to call Iruma a perv, mortifying Iruma. As Iruma tries to explain that he didn't mean for that to happen, Garson confirms in his head that Iruma's the "harem king" and tries to get the group to leave, only for Chima to step forward and threaten to murder Shiida. Oh, Crap! indeed.
  • Chapter 231:
    • Chima breaks up the awkward moment between Iruma and Shiida with a powerful ice attack, declaring to Iruma that she needs to have a talk woman-to-woman with Shiida. First she hugs Iruma tightly and sends him away. She makes the following argument.
      1. Chima has held his hand as a lover would.
      2. Iruma has patted her head.
      3. Iruma has complimented her greatness frequently.
      4. She just hugged him very tightly.
      5. If all the above, then what she did is "way pervier."
      6. If it was "way pervier" then Chima wins.
      7. :. Chima wins.
    • Shiida's response is to think, "... What is this child talking about?"
    • When Chima's actions only result in an unintentional delaying action as Shiida easily overpowers her and gets the balloon, Iruma snatches her away and they escape down a poisoned-laced hole Garson made. When they escape down it, Garson ends up in the Bridal Carry position with Iruma holding him, and the young demon screaming about being caught up in Iruma's harem and Chima is furious Garson is in "her" spot.
  • Chapter 232:
    • Soi recognizes his skill in hiding gives him an advantage but there are two problems. One, his skill really only works on him, meaning he cannot easily hide his partners. Second his first-years aren't just Older Than They Look, they tower over Soi with him barely coming to their waists. His attempt to disguise them are akin to putting them in basic theatre props, like rocks and bushes, with their faces still exposed.
  • Chapter 235: Shax is irritated that one of his teammate's balloons were popped while Robin was going easy on them. Not wishing to get further humiliated, the team grabbed some badass gear, only to get their other balloon popped instantly by Oswell's luck ability. Shax's team absolutely loses it and vainly begged him in tears to go on easy on them and promptly beat him up.
  • Chapter 236:
    • Among the teams shown to be eliminated, Shax's team is shown making puffed up cheeks.
    • A girl is seen running towards Asmodeus' team from a horror which turns out to be none other than... her team leader, Kamui. Asmodeus decides there's no danger after all and tries to leave.
    • Ameri is fully into her role as the Leader of the Misfits during the Heartbreaker Event when she gives an announcement of a special event happening: If they don't reach a location in time and shut down a machine using four demons, Sullivan will enter the exam. Cue a fear from every remaining team.
    • Kalego puts Sullivan in a vat to be released as a Final Boss. When a teacher questions if he should treat the principal like that, he chuckles and states "Why not? It suits him."
  • Chapter 238:
  • Chapter 242:
    • Garson's okay with Chima trapping him with icicles... because he doesn't want to like Iruma anymore than Chima wants him to like Iruma.
  • Chapter 244:
    • To delay Momonoki, Marianne Pheene casts her illusion magic on Camui to make him appear as something that Momonoki would never attack. This makes the bird demon appear as Kalego, sporting the same injuries as Camui. True to the effect, Momonoki bring herself to attack at this moment and instead takes photos of the "injured Kalego" as she knows how unlikely this would happen in real life. The end of volume additions note that her camera didn't capture the illusion and so her phone is filled with pictures of Camui instead.
    • As Momonoki looks past the illusion to Zeze, Silvia, and Uzu confident they will fail in stopping Sullivan's awakening only to see two Zezes. Her face is screaming, "What?!"
  • Chapter 248:
    • After a dramatic Big Damn Heroes moment from Iruma allows the students to win the game, a piƱata opens up with a goofy picture of Sullivan saying "I LOST!"
    • A post-volume note shows that while Iruma is taking that shot, Chima is taking photos for her own sake and Garson is taking photos for Eiko and Eito, calling this a secret mission.
  • Chapter 254:
    • After Asmodeus gives his speech on why he refuses to back down despite recklessly wasting his mana in his fight with Ifrit, Kalego prepares to strike Asmodeus down with a powerful magic attack... then anticlimactically gets transformed into his familiar form by Iruma.
  • Chapter 260:
    • After Ipos and Orias save Allocer, his first-year team, and Jazz's first-year team and fend off Atori, Orias turns to the students and pops their balloons both to knock them out and move them to a secure location in the school for protection.
    • As Iruma, his team, Jazz, and Kalego approach one area, they hear voices in the distance. It appears that Zeze is begging Azz to proclaim Azz's love for Zeze to help him recover, much to Azz's confusion and refusal.
  • Chapter 262:
    • When Sullivan states to Atori that they have ways of making him talk, it cuts to March smiling while holding a pair of pliers.
  • Chapter 264:
    • After the heavy past few chapters with Atori's rampage, Shiida's rescuing Iruma, Sullivan's intervention, Amuscdias' saving Atori then threatening the school and Iruma, Sullivan hugs Iruma before he departs, leaving Dali and Kalego in charge. Dali smiles and gets close to Iruma, stating he is thankful Iruma and Garson are close. He immediately pops the balloon, knocking Iruma out and states that there are still 30 seconds left.
    • With Azz and his team the only ones remaining, Dali rushes to complete the mission, but Azz, Sylvia, and Zeze are able to hold the line by both Azz and Sylvia declaring admiration and love, respectively, for Zeze.
  • At the end of chapter 276, Kalego introduces Opera as the Misfits new practical teacher expressing pity for the young demons and Iruma. In chapter 277, it is seen why. Opera decides their first group meeting between themself, Shiida, and the Misfits should be a tea party. They simply need to arrive before the tea gets cold. Cut to Opera and Shiida atop a hundreds-foot tall pillar drinking their tea while the students must climb up without their bloodline magic, familiars, or wings. And they must complete the task before the tea gets cold.
  • In chapter 277:
    • Robin expresses joy at being a senior teacher with his own kohai, or someone beneath him in seniority. Kalego immediately grabs Robin's face in frustration while other teachers are shocked by his audacity. Despite Opera being likely an 8 rank, rumored to be rank 9, and above Robin's rank, Opera happily accepts the position at being Robin's Kohai as a teacher.
    • Ameri is excited at Opera joining the teaching staff and asks Opera to give the Studen Council some special training, to their shock and concern.
  • Chapter 281: After Dali has given his opening speech for the Rookie Hunt, he adds an addendum warning the weaker Battlers of their need to defeat any stronger Battler who might claim better First Years. The Battler all must be most wary of is Iruma's, to Iruma, Azz, and Clara's shock.
  • Chapter 282:
    • After Dali has sicced the other battlers at Iruma's, there is almost a repeat of their First Year with Azz protecting Iruma with his fire magic. But some Battlers are craftier than others in delaying Iruma. The Yakisoba Battler members are feeding Iruma their delicious food and the Succubus Battler is offering Clara a spot. She capitulates a little and says they should hear the other Battlers out.
    • Meanwhile, Chima has set up an ice throne to sit atop and will freeze any who come at her unless it is Iruma on bended knee to ask to join his battler.
    • Next to Chima is Zeze with his own large couch he is laying upon hoping to get confessed to by the Battlers wanting his to join them.
    • Schnare Eligos makes his return to the series first by saving Iruma and others with a machine that inflicts a paralysis potion on their attackers, but then ups his method of gaining first years with a giant machine bent on capturing all the first years and targeting Chima and Zeze primarily. It even put Iruma, Azz, and Clara in one of its nets. He is only stopped when Ameri jumps in and kicks the guy hard enough to knock him out. The result is Iruma's Battler cannot go out to get any first years.
  • Chapter 325:
    • Baal's tea parties with Princess Shura are shown with him trying his hardest to feign interest in the young girl as part of his long term plans, and is suffering from her talking a lot and insisting on as many as three tea parties a week. Poro-chan warns him about showing his lack of interest and Shura will notice, so Baal asks for a tea party and gives her a gift to show he is listening to her. She is so elated, she sends him a bouquet of demonic flowers with their own meanings. Baal is ignorant at first until Poro explains each one and how Shura is quite troublesome in another way. Some of the flowers mean things like "I will never let you go," "Until Death Do Us Part," "You are my one and only one," "I love you down to your marrow," and most extreme "If I lose you, I bid the world farewell."
    • Poro-chan also shows his disgust for Atori, Kirio, and Ocho's sounds. This only delights the three depraved demons and Ocho begs to be second.
  • Chapter 326:
    • Henri is worried about Ameri being so happy and so decides to wear super strong detection-warding glasses to follow her around school. Most people only notice the weight of his magic, but Kalego just stares at the Thirteen Crown with confusion when Ameri is at a meeting with the teachers.
    • Henri flashes back to his time posing as Narnia and is torn between his duty to the Crowns and staying undercover and interceding with Iruma when he and Ameri were talking.
    • Henri tries to convince himself Iruma is a nobody and unworthy of Ameri's attention before recalling that he is the grandson of one of the Three Greats, earned rank 5 before his second year, earmarked as a Demon King Candidate, close ally to the Asmodeus family which includes a Thirteen Crown, is the personal student to another Thirteen Crown, and single-handedly saved the demon world from civil war by stopping a war between the Crowns and the Three Heroes clans. He realizes the boy's merits are legit and make him worthy of dating Ameri.
Henri: There he is... The source of all Evil... Iruma!!
    • The chapter ends with Henri confronting his daughter and Iruma, directly asking the boy how he feels about Ameri. Ameri's face is a mixture of blush and panic over this direct questioning.
  • Chapter 327:
    • After giving a heartwarming speech of his deep feelings for Ameri as someone he admires and pursues to be like her, Iruma's words have made Henri blush in the exact same way as his daughter: Body hunched over and looking at his legs with a beet red face.
    • After the meeting, things seem to be going well for Iruma as Henri has mentally withdrawn his objections to them being together in his head. This is when Garson happens on him, first thinking he's Ameri. Then when told where Ameri is, states, "She's with the harem king." Henri stops moving and demands an explaination. After Garson gives his view on the situation with Iruma gathering men and women under his thrall, Henri rushes back to the room and finds Az and Yabashi to one side of the chair, Sylvia and Chima on the other, with Chima asking Iruma for any photos of himself in his swimsuit, and Clara laying across his lap. Iruma has a small exasperated sigh on his face.
    • This leads to Henri looking for his daughter, and she is to the side watching with a thousand-yard stare muttering, "Not this again."
    • The coup de grace of this moment is Henri's so pissed, his glasses shatters and he shouts out withdrawing all the nice things he thought about Iruma.
Henri: IT DOESN'T COUNT!! NONE OF THAT STUFF FROM BEFORE COUNTS!!
      Iruma: Huh... What doesn't count?
Henri: THIS IS THE FINAL STRAW!! I'M GOING TO HAVE YOU LOCKED UP!!!
      Iruma: WHAAAT?!

Other

  • In the character book, it includes a one page screen of Lied having added Kalego to the class' group chat. This is the class' responses:
    Lied: Sensei!!
    Sab: Hm.
    Eliza: Welcome, Kalego-Sensei! (star emoji)
    Schnei: Kalego-Sensei!!
    Jazz: Whoa, Seriously?
Goemon: Is this the real one-degozaru!?
    Soisoi: How are you, sensei?
    Lied: Say something!
    Clara: Eggy-sensei Eggy-sensei Eggy-sensei Eggy-sensei Eggy-sensei Eggy-sensei!!!
    Kalego: Shut up
    Iruma: Don't you mean, "Silence!"?
    Lied: LOL
    Jazz: (Three laughing-face emojis)
    Iruma: That was Opera-san!!!!!!!!
  • The side story chapters, Kalego Gaiden, show a younger Kalego being annoyed because older students keep attacking him, believing he's a rumored "top dog" of the school. When consulting with Balam, he muses that the Top Dog's defining features are dark messy hair, two horns, and a mix of male and female school uniforms. Balam replies in a deadpan that this fits him to a T, to his dismay.
