- In a flashback, we see Frenchie and the Female teaching Hughie how to perform a tracheotomy on a practice dummy. But they decide to simulate some urgency to make it more realistic - by having the Female stand over Hughie with a live chainsaw.
- Although the situation was played seriously, The Seven's "brilliant" attempt to stop a hijacked plane during 9/11 goes so wrong in so many ways that it's hilariously.
- If the fact that simply blocking the hijackers' flight pattern isn't a sign that things are about to go wrong, then Homelander prying open the entrance to the plane (in the middle emergency exit, no less), causing a hopeful child to fly out, and everyone's expressions does.
- The Homelander falling victim to the old "Walls" Prank Call in issue 23.Homelander: Hello?
Caller: Yeah, hi, is Mister Wall there?
Homelander: Who? No, this—
Caller: Well, how about Mrs. Wall, is she there?
Homelander: No—
Caller: Are any of the Walls there?
Homelander: No, look, you've got the wrong—
Caller: Then how the fuck does the roof stay up, douchebag?!

- Stillwell finally gets his comeuppance in the form of having gone nuts and planting pineapples over and over again.
- Hughie asks to see Monkey. Monkey panics at the mention of a Brit asking to see him (asking the same lines as Rayner did when Butcher came to see her), leaves through a window... only to run into Hughie, who asks "Owright, cahnt?".
- Bobbi trolling Hughie by accusing him of deadnaming her while he insists that he's addressing her as "Bobbi with an I".
