• Perry is chewing Jimmy out for the chaos (and insurance payouts) that his employment involves when he finds out that the money Jimmy brings in is keeping the Daily Planet afloat. Cue Opinion Flip Flop.
• The "Superman's Secret Superpowers" interview:
  • Superman says that he can persuade anyone to buy him a hot dog at will, while Finger-Tenting and keeping a completely straight face. And within the same page, we later see him eating a hotdog, meaning he demonstrated on either Jimmy or someone else off screen.
  • Nobody can recognize him if he wears glasses.
  • Superman is apparently really bad at lip-reading and the "find your card" trick.
• Jix's suitor gets caught in a Big Ball of Violence with an army of Jimmy's friends, including Dex-Starr. His response? Yelling about the cat's plasma getting in his mouth.
  • Also before that, he threatens to destroy the supermarket Jix is holding the fort in. When Jimmy points out that destroying the building will end up killing her:
    Suitor: Confound your stupid world and its stupid physics! Were this place a real planet, gravity would simply be optional and not "the law"!
• Jimmy invokes Superman Stays Out of Gotham, to which Superman keeps his word and stays out of the conflict at Jimmy's request. This means every time someone almost mentions where Jimmy is, Superman covers his ears and yells "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA".
• Batman's entire appearance in the series:
  • Superman's expression at Batman's reaction to Jimmy comes off as both sad and funny. He's utterly chagrined at how horribly wrong things went while knowing he has to explain to the teen that, unfortunately, this is normal for Bats.
  • As it turns out, Bruce Wayne is quite the jokester and enjoys making people laugh. Unfortunately, it turns out his employees are laughing only because Alfred had been paying them behind his back. Bruce is not happy.
    Batman: Your pay will be docked, of course. Dollar for dollar.
    Alfred: Of course, sir.
    Batman: And, Alfred... leave your edible arrangement. Bwoocey... hungy. Bwoocey. Very. Hungy.
    (Stares at novelty "arrow through the head" toy)
    Batman (putting it on): I'm also hilarious.
  • Batman somehow gets Dex-Starr of the Red Lantern Corps sent to Jimmy so he can vomit blood all over him.
  • Batman always wins... meaning even though he ends his prank war with Jimmy, he still goes out of his way to get the last laugh by legally changing Jimmy's first name to "Jimphony".
• Jimmy Olson arriving at a party his brother Julian(who had attempted to have Jimmy killed earlier) was attending as a Wholesome Crossdresser. Julian ends up quite smitten with this new redhead and dances with "her". Then Jimmy's wig falls off. Jimmy's reaction:
  "I knew it was you, Julian. You broke my heart." [kisses him on the mouth, then abruptly leaves the party]
• Gorilla CNN.

• The Daily Planet runs a headline gleefully proclaiming "LEX DID IT" after Jimmy confronts Luthor and tricks him into an Engineered Public Confession.
