Funny / Super Robot Wars DD

• A moment that is both funny and low-key awesome: Four stops Alberto from putting his hands on Marida by pulling his ear.
• Setsuna meets Kira for the first time when he arrives to help the Archangel in a battle. He talks with Kira exactly once, to ask him if he is a Gundam too. To say Kira was confused would be quite the understatement. Even better, it turns out later that Setsuna was under orders to not talk with the Archangel crew at all, and he disobeyed orders just to ask Kira that question.
• Arguably Black Comedy, but there is something oddly funny about how Mikazuki's first reaction to meeting any mecha from a different series through the initial World 4 stages is to ask Orga if he is supposed to smash it too.
• In the middle of an otherwise heartwarming moment where Saki is receiving support from everyone in Module 77, we get the sight of Roanne completely breaking character by fanboying hard over her. He then tells a shocked David that he has always been a fan of Saki, to which David replies with an "I called it".
• When he has to pilot the Valvrave in L-elf's body, Haruto disables the camera feed to his cockpit so other won't find out about his powers. But he can't disguise his voice, leading to him awkwardly saying that there is something wrong with his throat. Kyo buys it anyway, because only Haruto would speak so awkwardly.
• This conversation on the subject of pilots launching without permission:
  Bright: Also, give some thought as to what disciplinary measures to take for the three who launched without permission.
  Misato: I think that's better left to you, Captain. You have some experience with that, don't you?
  Bright: I suppose I do.
  Amuro: You're looking at me, Bright.
  Bright: That's just your imagination.
• Seeing The Comically Serious soldier Sousuke Sagara piloting a Super Robot like Voltes V is already pretty funny. Him being told he must scream the name of the attacks to perform them, and him getting into it so much he gets teased by his teammates afterwards is hilarious.
• Asuka takes an immediate dislike towards Quess during the brief period she stays with Londo Bell, leading to them having unique pre-battle dialogue when Quess is fought later on. Said dialogue ends with an interesting exchange:
  Quess: You're so high-and-mighty! I never liked you from the moment we met! And the same goes for that red machine too!
  Asuka: Well, sorry my EVA isn't 3 times faster than normal!
• Bravern recounts how he met Isami, much like the second episode of his own series, to Bright and Misato. The two are on the verge of losing their minds as Bravern continues talking.
