• In the first part of Chapter 1, right when it seems the Shanghai server will suffer the same fate from its home series, Haruto arrives and slashes through the entire Deutera Zone with the Harakiri Blade, giving Kyo the opening to destroy the core and save the day.
• Inaho makes a pretty good debut here, showing that despite coming from a more down-to-earth series, he can adapt to the presence of more "super" robots easily:
  • When Trillram comes back for a rematch, Inaho isn't worried at all, pointing out that between their previous battle and now, they got the help of Wing Zero. Indeed, said Gundam shows just how strong its Buster Rifle is by hitting the entirety of the Nilokeras at once, bypassing the need to pinpoint its weak spot. Inaho even notes afterwards that his work of searching for a good sniping spot for Heero was probably superfluous.
  • When Vlad comes to battle, Inaho quickly deduces that his Argyre must have security measures to avoid being burned by its own plasma swords, so he directs Duke to hit the swords with a Space Thunder. The added power of the attack overheats the swords, forcing Argyre into an emergency shut-down to prevent its destruction.
• Before the Trinity siblings show up like in canon, Shin Getter Robo arrives to save the Gundam Meisters by blowing up an entire squad of Flags with a single Getter Beam.
• With the introduction of Wolrd 6, we get a scene where Wataru shows why he is the Savior. Even when the heroes are getting pushed back by the Jado Clan, he refuses to give up, and his tenacity inspires the cast of ''Granzort'' to keep fighting too. Wataru and Daichi then get their Heroic Second Wind and push back the bad guys by unleashing their special moves together.
• At the end of the fight between the Archangel and the Dominion, before Murrue Ramius could destroy the Dominion for the "death" of Mu La Flaga, Gai Shishioh, Jeeg, and Devilman intercept to save Natarle from Azrael. To top it off, Devilman personally kills Azrael for all the crimes he committed before the Dominion explodes.
• The inclusion of Jinmen might be nightmarish, but in a true Super Robot Wars fashion, it ended awesomely that Devilman rips him in two (as a preview of his much needed 3rd SSR), and unlike the original, Sachiko and the rest of his victims are successfully saved.
• Chapter 2 ends with the conclusion of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn storyline. However, instead of just the original and the Banshee Norn blocking the Colony Laser, they're joined by Hi-Nu Gundam and the EVAs Unit 00, 01 and 02. While they're barely holding it back, the Valvrave V joins in, followed by Didariam Zam, who teleports the laser blast at last.
