Funny / Scooby-Doo! and the WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon

Go To

It's Scooby-Doo and the WWE in a Wacky Races like scenario. Of course there's gonna be hilarity.

  • The Undertaker. No, seriously. The most awe-inspiring, nightmare-inducing wrestler of all times...is The Comically Serious Cold Ham whose dialogue is stated in the same gravelly gravitas he uses for his promos.
    • Upon seeing what happened to his first car, he can only note that it shall rust. in. peace.
    • Why does he want to win the race so badly? He wants to create something for his fans...a puppet show that he likes to call "Undertaker's Puppet Jubilee". Shaggy and Scooby just stare at him blankly as he explains, "I like puppets".
  • Stardust and Goldust:
    • Sheamus is partnered with Stardust and Goldust. You can tell this is gonna end well...
    • Stardust making his entrance while doing Airplane Arms and noises while circling Shaggy and Scooby.
    • Shaggy, intimidated by the pair, tells Scooby that they should leave; they've already got a mystery and they don't need two additional ones.
    • The fact that out of the two kooky brothers, they think Scooby-Doo is the weird one!
      Stardust: A talking dog?!
      Goldust: Bizarre...
    • During the first leg of the race, Sheamus screams for the two to just disappear...and they somehow do this while Sheamus is driving! Sheamus, upon realizing that he now has to drive by himself, grips the wheel and nervously tells himself to stay composed.
      • Which then leads to a Brick Joke when they arrive after the race is over with Sheamus questioning where the hell they went the entire time. They say it's where they came from that's important and offer Sheamus a rose. The infuriated superstar just bites the rose's head off.
  • The Miz has just placed Inferno in the figure-four leg lock, but after Inferno escapes, Paige just can't help letting loose another snarky jab at her partner.
The Miz: He overpowered my awesome figure-four leg lock?
Paige: (snarky as hell) Oh no! Could it be that the curse of Inferno is making you lose your awesome?
The Miz: (horrified) I...I can lose my awesome?!
    • Prior to this, Paige is gonna make sure that nothing happens to her partner and new best friend. Miz then thanks Paige before quickly questioning if she's being sarcastic.
  • The entire fight in the cafeteria and interview sequence. Let's break it down.
    • When interviewed by Michael Cole, the crawl for "The Authority" reads, "Unconcerned about demons, etc., etc."
    • Lana's insults for Rusev read, "Brr...cold as ice!"
    • When Kofi interviews The Undertaker, as The Undertaker goes into another hammy promo, Shaggy and Scooby are eating a sandwich. After he finishes his promo, a waitress carrying a platter of meatballs passes by. Cue Shaggy, Scooby, and The Undertaker getting distracted and following her as the crawl for Team Taker now goes from "2nd place" to "Enjoys meatballs!"
    • Then Miz appears, the crawl reading "Speaking of meatballs..." stating how he's disappointed of how "his team" (he and Paige) failed. Paige appears and they start arguing. And when Miz starts stating how he's been "mentoring" Paige, the crawl quickly goes to "He's cruisin' for a bruisin'" to "Here it comes..." and then "Monkey Flip into the burritos!" when Paige performs the following move onto Miz, who crashes into a platter of burritos near Sheamus and a Food Fight ensues.
    • It's then changed to Miz vs Rusev: "Russian Rampage!" then "Oh it's on now!" when Miz retaliates, hopping onto Rusev's back until they get to the table where Stephanie and Triple H are. Rusev hurls Miz off and accidentally knocks punch into Stephanie's suit. "Big mistake", as Triple H puts it as they start grappling.
    • And finally, just as Miz thinks he's clear, he looks up to find Paige leaping onto him and putting him in her Scorpion Lock, bumping into the camera man as Los Matadores look on.
  • During the final race, Rusev and Lana try to claim Inferno's rig for Russia, only to get knocked onto the Moscow Express by the scorpion tail. Miz, who Rusev left driving, finds this hilarious...until the Russian wrestler throws him back to the Too Awesome. Miz crouches on the windshield, whimpering that the moneymaker is in peril. Thoroughly unimpressed, Paige calls him a big baby and tells him to get in.
