Trailers

  • Shaggy and Scooby in a movie theater, with a ludicrous amount of food.
    • Scooby doing his best "trailer guy voice" impression:
Shaggy: Can you maybe do the trailer guy voice?
Scooby: Let me give it a shot! [clears throat] In a world destroyed by evil, discover the epic origin story of the greatest team of heroes in the history of mystery!
  • Puppy Scooby licking Shaggy, followed by Shaggy licking him back.
Puppy Scooby: Maybe don't do that again.

The film

  • The cop in the beginning lets Scooby off the hook for stealing the gyros purely because he has a middle name.
Cop: I don't like it, but the law's the law.
  • Fred complaining about the smell in the Mystery Machine, to which Scooby pointedly replies, “I told you I needed a walk.”
  • Dastardly sets up a trap at Funland, leaving an anonymous tip that the second skull can be found there. Brian falls for it:
Brian: Hey! Did Dastardly get the anonymous tip too?
    • Everyone looks annoyed at him, including Shaggy and Scooby. When two characters who are famous for being incompetent fools give you that look, you know you messed up.
  • When hiding from Dastardly and his robots in Funland:
    Shaggy: Do something!
    Brian: Like what?!
    Shaggy: Like drop some F-bombs!
Brian: Hey man, whoa, let's keep it PG!
    Shaggy: No! Falcon bombs!
  • After Fred learns that the attractive cop he was just fancying was Dastardly in disguise:
Fred: I have so many mixed feelings.
    • That cop is actually a disguise that looks like Penelope Pitstop. The important questions here are A) Why? B) Where did he get it? and C) Does Penelope know he has a disguise of her and has he used it in a race before?
    • It's also a funnier scene if one recalls the Fred loves Traps meme that originated from Mystery Incorporated.
    • Dastardly can't help but crack some jokes at Mystery Inc's expense as he captures them
Dastardly: You have the right to remain silent, and anything you said about my face, will be used against you in a court of claw!(Claw comes down from Dastardly's airship and hauls up the Mystery Machine.)
  • Brian's father made a book called "No Falcon Around", while he made his own, "Just Falcon Around".
  • Dynomutt gives a pep talk to a dispirited Blue Falcon, which goes well until he says to look at Scooby and Shaggy for heroic inspiration. Cue a cutaway gag of Scooby and Shaggy in a chariot doing the classic Scooby chase as the score briefly turns into a poppy, almost beach music-like instrumental version of the theme song.
    Shaggy: I'm terrified.
Scooby: Why are we taking on Cerberus??
    • Also if you watch closely, they switch places on the chariot.
  • "We'll go in the Haunted House this one time, but we're not going to make a habit of this, right, Scoob?". Wrong, Shaggy. Very wrong. This is definitely going to become a "habit" for you.
  • Shaggy briefly calls Velma the "girl dressed like Judge Judy".
  • Velma helps to keep the ghost at the beginning on the floor, by slamming her elbow into its stomach!
  • The entire first encounter between Scooby and Dick Dastardly where the former's famous speech impediment returns just so we can hear the latter say dick repeatedly.
  • During the opening montage, we see Fred on a beach date with the Mystery Machine.
  • The entire Scooby Snack gag from the climax:
Shaggy: [nervously] Maybe he wants a Scooby Snack?
Scooby: I don't have any Scooby Snacks!
Daphne: [reaches into her boot and presents a Scooby Snack] I always have a spare.
[Daphne pulls arm back to throw it, but Scooby eats it before she can.]
    Scooby: [sheepishly] ...Sorry!
Daphne: And that's why I always have a spare spare.
[She pulls another Scooby Snack from her boot, prepares to throw it... and Scooby eats it again.]
    Daphne: Scooby!
Scooby: [hides his face in his paws] I'm so weak.
  • At the end of the movie, Shaggy unmasks Dick Dastardly as Simon Cowell, only for Velma to unmask him to reveal he really is Dick Dastardly. Dick then complains that no one ever goes for the double unmasking.
  • When looking through the remains of the Blue Falcon's ship, Shaggy and Fred find a single white sock, which Shaggy is suitably disgusted by.
  • While imprisoned aboard Dastardly's ship, Daphne tries to "accidentally" discover a way out in the same manner as Shaggy and Scooby.
  • As Dastardly tells the story of how Muttley ended up in the Underworld, he makes it out as if Muttley recklessly ran into the portal while he begged him not to. The accompanying flashback shows the opposite happening, Dastardly shoving a reluctant Muttley towards the portal and ordering him to go inside, which Muttley begrudgingly does while grumbling.
  • The moment where Shaggy escapes from the Underworld is played for drama, up until Cerberus uses his giant paw to flick him out the portal and close the door behind him which causes the statue to immediately poof away, all with silly sound effects.
  • Meta example: when the film was announced, Matthew Lillard and Kate Micucci commiserated on Twitter on how sad they were at being dropped from the cast. Jon Bailey chimed in, pointing out that we've now reached the point where even celebrities are getting dropped from animated projects in favor of... other celebrities.
