- The side stories have a lot of these moments, being slice-of-life glimpses into what the cast is doing when not hunting monsters or trying to solve the manor's mystery.

as Hikage and Yamato whisper to themselves trying to figure out what on Earth she's talking about it. - In one moment, Yamato expresses a desire to have steak for dinner and Beniyuri explains they don't have the ingredients. The following exchange is just gold.Yamato: I'll go hunt down a cow!
Hikage: That might be a little difficult in a manor.

- The side story of four of the guys flipping through a shoujo manga. Picture: Monshiro wondering why the guy is nibbling on the girl's ear, Karasuba egging him on, Kagiha stealing glances while telling them to stop, and Hikage just wanting to wash his hands of the whole matter.
- At the end of it, Beniyuri wonders why Monshiro asked if he could eat her earlobes at dinner.
- Monshiro asks Hikage of all people to explain kissing to him. Hikage's response is a dry command to word that differently. It's funny the first time you see it, but rewatch it after learning that Hikage is the Big Bad and Monshiro knew that, and it comes across as Monshiro completely trolling him.
- Monshiro is DEFINITELY trolling in that scene—he also asks Kagiha whether he's nibbled on a girl's ear before, knowing full well that Kagiha has been stuck in the manor since he was a child and wouldn't have had the opportunity.
- Every single funny moment involving Hikage becomes even more Hilarious in Hindsight upon learning he's the master of the manor. Imagine carelessly going up to the Big Bad and calling him a Tsundere or making fun of him for not liking shiitake mushrooms.
- In Monshiro's True Ending, Ai mentions that he's been getting competitive in rehab... with an elementary school kid.
