• In The Teaser of "The Haircut", Alfie and Goo planted some jalapeño lollipops on the living room table, hoping Dee Dee would take one. Roger takes one thinking it's a cherry lollipop, and starts panting his tongue out.
  Alfie and Goo: Got— chaaaaaa.
  Roger: Alfie, Goo, why you—!

• In the episode "The Bully," Dee Dee is being victimized thanks to a fourth grader who goes by the nickname Big Lou. When Alfie volunteers to straighten out the kid, he and Goo find out Big Lou is a girl. To add insult to injury, her big sisters, one of whom is a girl Alfie likes, beat them up.
  Roger: What happen to you?
  Alfie and Dee Dee: (covered in mud) Girls!

• Any time Roger goes into one of his When I Was Your Age... stories, prompting the kids and even Mama to sneak away.

• In "A Stranger Among Us," Alfie and Dee Dee trade Goo a bunch of their stuff for a pet snake. Later, Goo explains snakes eat live rats. Alfie's reaction? "I ain't cookin' no rat!" His fast delivery and You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me! expression sell it.
  • In the same episode, while the snake was loose in the house, it slithered out of the bathroom, occupied by an unaware Roger.
