Even in times of war, there are moments that are hilarious.
- During one of Izuku's stealth training exercises, one of the guards can't keep it in and laughs at the concept of being interrogated by a ten year old.Izuku: Where are the other guards?
Guard: There's heh, two on the catwalk heh. Another on the… (gives into his laughter)
Izuku: Hey!
Guard: I’m sorry, (subtly reaches for taser as Izuku is distracted)
Izuku: It's not that funny,
Guard: Well, your voice is just too high-pitched kid, I can’t take it seriously. (grabs taser)
Izuku: Really?
Guard: Pretty much, try adding some gravitas to it… actually, no that might make it funnier.
Izuku: Well, what do you suggest?
Guard: One, wait until your older for interrogations, and two… (quickly turns around and effortlessly defeats Izuku) Don’t let yourself get distracted in the field. - When All for One finds out the Congo Tyrant detonated a nuke in Nigeria, he goes into a full Villainous Breakdown because some low-level Quirk user upstarted him with a nuke.
- Despite the severity of the situation, the discussion between Night Owl and the Tyrant on where to nuke has a few good laughs. In particular, where to nuke in the United States.Night Owl: That’s why they expect it, they expect the debilitating strike on Washington. Go for Chicago.
The Tyrant: Oh hell no, I'm keeping the Deep-dish pizza capital alive.
Night Owl: Deep-dish pizza!? Really!? The most overrated pizza in the world!?
The Tyrant: You bastard! Take that back!
Night Owl: It’s nothing more than a glob of sauce and cheese!
The Tyrant: You just defined all pizza!
Night Owl: No, pizza is an even amount of sauce and cheese! Not drowning in the amount of marinara!

Night Owl: What then! You going to nuke Detroit!?- Earlier, Night Owl produced a list of cities in the US where big attacks occur on a daily basis. The Tyrant wonders where the hell he got it from, but didn't want to ask.
- After Night Owl snaps that out, they move the flag to Detroit, then both unanimously agree to nuke Tokyo.
- During the fight against the Heroes, Grizzly, Eagle and Ape did a Side Bet on Hawaii's heroes being dressed in basically bikinis. Eagle and Ape were left in disbelief at this, moments before they realize that those are child heroes.
- When Madam President approaches the African Warlords for a deal, there are humorous moments in a dark scene.
- When Luan Igwe sees his competition argue over territory, troop movements and even some petty things, he mentally remarks how it's a miracle the Tyrant hadn't seized total control of Africa.
- When Madam President asks if they know what's gone on in Nigeria, one warlord jokes about how the heroes she's propped up got their asses kicked. She makes a mental note to have him found and killed after this mission.
- Even funnier, when another points out it's from the same group who axed the Tyrant, she adds that one to the list as well.
- Why did Nezu program the robots to talk about an uprising and killing off Ocelot? He did it For the Lulz. Ocelot feels like a fool for falling for it, since it meant all his preparations were for nothing.
- While fighting the cold of his Quirk being overused in a battle to liberate a town under militant rule, Grizzly demands to know why he's been called rookie for five years when he's a Corporal. Eagle responded he never objected to it.
- While Ochako, Tsu and Iida were watching Ocelot's members pay up for the logical ruse bet, they all bet on when the first student would be expelled. One gives it a week, one gives it a month and the last one gives it three weeks.
- In Chapter 59, despite the severity of the situation, the two villains bickering over their crimes is Black Comedy at its finest.
- As Night Owl makes his monologue to Agent Matter as Reaper's men rig the charges, he laments how he had a great speech planned and they couldn't get the damn timing right.
- When a disguised Izuku meets All Might for the first time, he ends up showing off his fanboy side, much to All Might's surprise. It is still funny to know that all those years, and Izuku still views All Might as the best hero.
- After drugging Aizawa out because the man refuses to accept reality and stay in bed, Recovery Girl asks if she could buy those bullets the MSF made, if only to keep her patients from moving. To her dismay, he says no.
- How Ocelot punishes Bakugou, Todoroki and Kirishima for their dumbassery? Have them clean the entire campus for three months. Alone. Meaning that they would have to clean everything. The school, the training grounds, the barracks... everything.
- All Might asks Akatani when the 1A students will wake up. Why? Because he doesn't want to be lectured by Recovery Girl. Akatani points out that he didn't break all their bones and sedated them, which All Might can agree with.
- When giving a review of their class exercise, Izuku points out the biggest threats being Jiro, Shoji and Koda. When Bakugou retorts that those three are the biggest threat, Izuku points out he hasn't gotten out of those restraints yet. Cue the whole class laughing at Bakugou being restrained by zip ties.
- Upon finding out Freezer Boy is guarding UA and Momo reveals this to his fellow soldiers (largely because she's the only one who can speak and understand English by Toru and Mina), all the other soldiers of his group burst out laughing while he Facepalms in resignation at this.
- Mina and Toru want answers to the shipping life of Freezer Boy and Heart Star, which caused the soldiers to laugh. Iguchi most of all since unlike his group, he can understand the students.
- When Izuku meets Mei the first time, she suddenly appears next to him, causing him to jump back in surprise while mentally remarking how he knows what it's like to be on the receiving end.
- Ape is forced to groan when he finds out from Iguchi that Eagle's claims of Midnight being a teacher at UA is real, and that Eagle acts smug about it. 51 chapters of Ape refusing to believe a teacher dressed like a stripper, and it turns out to be wrong from a Japanese local.
