Season 1:

  • Jo prank calls the diner to distract her mom from Kid, giving us gems like "hamburgers with cheese, not cheeseburgers" and even asking how long a dish takes to make.
  • When Jo is taking out the trash, she grumbles about her mom forcing her to pay for the food she ordered and that she'll show her by actually eating it all, and accidentally pokes the inside of her cheek with a fork. Then when Kid comes and shows her his powers, she is left shocked for a few seconds and the food drops from her mouth.
  • When Kid filmed his initial attempts to use the ring, he got a board with the number of attempts he had done. This change every time the scene was cut EXCEPT when he shocked the ring (and himself) with the battery, after which the scene cut from the sun still in the sky to night with the number staying the same, which means he really was knocked out for that long.
    • Extra credit for the PERFECT comedic timing and use of 'beats' for "Maybe it's out of juice".
  • When Jo is trying out her new portal creation power, she ends up sending herself into the air, and the screen pans over to a mattress... which she falls in front of. She then groans when she sees that she missed landing on it.
  • Papa G looks out the window of his house and sees Kid flying and fighting a forty-foot-tall Rosa. His only remark is how nice it is to see the kids playing that Rosa sure has "got big." Papa G then freezes as he realizes exactly what it was he just said... then wonders if he meant to say "has gotten big" or "is getting big."
  • Rosa wiping the floor with Chuck's clone army... at normal size.
  • Fridge-Funny: When Jo is trying to convince Kid to leave behind the scroll so they won't get caught up in the self-destruct explosion, she says none of them knows what's going to happen. It's easy to miss Tuna Sandwich meowing in response. But once one remembers he recently received the red stone that gives the bearer future visions, it dawns that he's responding to Jo by essentially saying "I do."
  • Chuck being quite nonchalant about losing his entire lower body.
  • A small green alien named Zarkon easily wipes the floor with the Local Heroes and takes their rings. After some Evil Gloating, Zarkon flies away in their saucer... right into a power line.
    • Not only does the electrocution go on for a comically long time, but Rosa takes time to look away from the saucer to smile at the camera.
    • Zarkon also looks like a stereotypical little green man, and keeps saying "gleep" and "glorp" while talking.
  • One of the aliens tries to get the Stones from the Local Heroes...by buying it off them. They back out easily when the Heroes raise the price too high for them.
  • During a fight against an alien army, Rosa is confused by Papa G helping a defeated alien instead of beating him up. Papa G takes the time to gently tell Rosa that heroes don't go out of their way to hurt their opponents after they're bested, so Rosa decides to help the aliens return home... by scooping all of them up into an empty water tower and hurling it into space.
    • Later on in the episode, after the Local Heroes find themselves flying back to Earth in the cockpit of a spaceship piloted by human-eating aliens, Rosa looks out the window and sees the dead bodies of the aliens she threw into space earlier, and innocently asks Papa G if they're asleep. Papa G hesitantly says yes.
  • "Kid Cosmic and the Colossal Corpse of Corgor the Conqueror". All of it.
    • The reason why Corgor is defeated in the first place? Because the giant monster beamed down to Earth without a spacesuit only to find out he can't breathe our atmosphere.
  • Chuck idly bouncing a ball off the back of Kid's head while Kid talks to the camera.
  • When the demon dogs attack the diner, Jo tries to use a portal to get everyone to safety, but the others are reluctant to go through:
Carl: Shoot, I'm not going through that thing!
    Jo: What?
Carla: They cut you in half!
Jo: That only happened one time!
(Cut to Chuck in Kid's trailer, looking around)
  • Kid tries to put on some epic music while dealing with the demon dogs, but accidentally selects the wrong song.
  • The "Earth Force Enforcement Force" theme song is a hilarious exercise in Department of Redundancy Department and a priceless parody of Tokusatsu that has to be seen to be believed.
  • Chuck and Rosa's notes to get Jo to talk with Tuna in the bathroom. Chuck wrote it in an alien language she couldn't understand, while Rosa wrote it in words she couldn't understand in a form of "meat potty". It's only when Tuna tells her to go over the bathroom window that led Jo to understand Rosa's message.
  • When trying to reach the conflict between the aliens and the Earth Force Enforcement Force, Papa G drives everyone in a comically slow ice cream truck, complete with catchy jingle. When Kid asks if it can go any faster...
    Papa G: Sure thing!
[ice cream truck music starts to play at a faster tempo]
  • The revelation that Kid has been throwing himself around with telekinesis all this time, not flying. No wonder he was so erratic.
  • "Hot damn!" as said by a cat. Twice.
  • Chuck trying to shoot Kid with a hot glue gun.
  • The Biker in Black attempts to get Kid over to his side.
    Biker: "Kid-"
    Kid: "No."
Biker: "What? No, I was just gonna-"
Kid: "You were just gonna say how wrong you were about me and ask me if I want to join Earth Force Enforcement Force."
    Biker: "...No."'

Season 2:

  • Kid Cosmic and the Heist of Fire and Ice:
    • Papa G gambling with his own clones with the game resembling Snake Eyes mixed with Dungeons & Dragons.
    • Tuna Sandwich snapping at Kid for ruining his moment with a female cat alien.
    • Fantos stares at Boss Fiosa's Cosmic Stones, which she happens to be wearing around her two necks. As this happens to be near her neckline, Fiosa rebukes Fantos for staring at that location.
    • Rosa enlarging her arm to arm wrestle the party guests.
  • "Kid Cosmic and the World is Saved"
    • Fantos whining that he can't move out because he lost the Cosmic Stones again after his mom has enough and kicks him out while throwing out all his stuff.
    • Papa G and his clones saying "Far out, man" after using the red stones to see the future while causing damage to Erodius.

Season 3:

  • Episode 2 has the whole gang pilot a Voltron-esque robot, the Kid Cos-Mech, with the robot I.R.I.S. narrating each part the pilots control - but since there's so many of them, they aren't just controlling the head and each limb, but many more... questionable parts. Stuck Chuck gets the legs ("YES! YES!"), Rosa's parents get the spleen and are panicking about what it even does, Jo ends up piloting the robot's ass for some reason and is the only one facing away during the group shot, and Carla... well...
    I.R.I.S.: "The pe—-"
Carla: "Hey! Not in polite company!"
    • Jo's reaction to the fact that some coordinates they found in Egypt lead them to a farm in Boise Idaho.
  • Episode 3:
    • When Jo tries to tell the others that they're stuck in a Lotus-Eater Machine, most of them are a bit skeptical. She then points out the fact that, if everything over the past few weeks has been real, it would mean that they are legitimately the world's greatest heroes. Everyone is immediately convinced.
Chuck: Yeah, it all falls apart right there, doesn't it?
    • I.R.I.S. inexplicably gains a new robot body to allow her to participate in the fake world's "storyline".
I.R.I.S.: Oh I do so love having hands.
    • The fake world blatantly twisting the knife on the already guilt-ridden Papa G.
I.R.I.S.: Of course I will tell you, I would never keep anything from Kid Cosmic. Successful communication between sentient beings requires (looks directly at Papa G) complete honesty. (beat; looks back at Kid) Deceit is the (looks at Papa G again) death of trust.
    • At one point when the heroes try to figure out how to leave the fake reality, Fry tries to just unplug it by pulling out some power cable in Kid's room.
Jo: I told you, Fry, we're in a fantasy world. You can't just unplug the simulation!
Fry: It worked in that movie.
      Jo: That movie wasn't real!
      Fry: Well, neither is this!
Jo: [long pause] ...eh, good point.
    • The fake world's attempts to keep up the illusion become pretty obvious during Kid and Papa G's fight with Agents Pink, Blue and Green. Green at one point charges at Kid, expecting him to dodge so she can fall forward and unlock the the door; when he just stops, she does too for a moment and then leaps forward on her own. Later, Papa G helps Blue up after she was knocked into a wall. She then throws herself back into the wall to get back into position.
    • After many various attempts to leave the fantasy world, it turns out all they had to do was ask. Jo is not happy when she finds out.
    • Fry trying to take Hamburg's spatula while he's sleeping.
  • Hamburg pettily throwing an empty food can at Fry.
  • Episode 5:
    • Papa G’s flashback to when he found his lucky stone ends with him recounting the various Amusing Injuries he sustained after he picked it up. He remembers them fondly but Flo tries to tell him he wouldn’t have gotten those injuries in the first place if he hadn’t gone to pick up the “lucky” stone.
    • Fantos' mother appears to come back to her son, but Fantos quickly realizes that he got sent to the same fantasy realm he sent the heroes to before and then angrily gets back to the real world to resume fighting.
    Fantos: Stupid fantasy realm!

Local Heroes shorts:

  • In Tuna Sandwich's short, it shows a slice of Tuna's simple life, as sleeps away the day warming himself in the sunlight. ...until his power stone gives him a vision of being taken to the vet, as the sadistic doctors are about to stick a thermometer up (ahem) some place unpleasant. Tuna wastes no time making a dash for the doorway and eluding Jo's attempt to take him to the vet.
    • A Freeze-Frame Bonus reveals that, towards the end of the day, Jo was surreptitiously getting ready to capture Tuna Sandwich for his trip to the vet.
