• When Kaigen asks Makoto to help her fight The Faction (EP 17)
  Kaigen: Join me and together we will rebuild society... or just stop The Faction. Whatever you want.
  Makoto: Let's conquer Japan for Meatbuns!
  Kaigen: That's not on the script!
  Ein: You must die for being old.
  Kaigen: How dare you! You first!
  Makoto: Ooh, cool beans.

Maki Kuronami has been a walking goldmine ever since she made her debut.

• In EP 15, she had her period.
  Maki: ...SHIT! I'm bleeding in my @*$&! Help!!
  • There's also Reaverance's Accidental Pervert moment involving her. (It Makes Sense in Context)
    *Reaverance enters the room to see Maki changing*
    Reaverance: ...Oh.
    Maki: What?
    Reaverance: ...I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING!
    *closes door and runs like hell*
    Maki: Didn't see what- Wait, shit! Why do I keep forgetting?!
  • Which Maki used as a Brick Joke in a later scene.
    Reaverance: Those are actually decent information. Thank you, Miss Maki.
    Maki: Oh yeah, about a while ago? Don't worry about it.
    Reaverance: Don't remind me!
    Youmu: Remind what?
    Reaverance: NOTHING!
• In EP 16, after a Giant Space Flea from Nowhere moment with Dragon Claw:
  Youmu: Help us!
  Maki: Help to what? As you can see, I'm unarmed. What the hell do you want me to do, bite their faces?
• Maki often ends up with a Snark-to-Snark Combat with Reaverance, and usually wins.
  Maki: What, don't wanna hang out with the girl with stupid glasses?
  Reaverance: No, I'm a busy man and someone was planning on meeting me somewhere.
  Maki: A brothel?
  Reaverance: Shut. Up.
• Maki's best moments are in the first part of EP 18, even though the intro started with her on the verge of death.
  Maki: Who the hell are you? Did you do shit to me?!
  Citan: No, I'm a doctor. There's nothing to fear.
  Maki: Right... But if I find out you did crazy shit to me, you're dead before you can say Anesthesia.
  • When she met Viper, her humor frequency increased.
    Maki: Hahaha... That's good, I would like you to help me out one last time. Can you?
    Viper: Maybe. But you know... my services comes at a price.
    Maki: You're one sick, demented son of a bitch.
    Viper: ...You're looking at my statement the wrong way. I meant monetary payment.
    *Beat*
    Maki: I-I KNEW THAT! I THOUGHT IT WAS A DOUBLE ENTENDRE!
  • The restaurant scene. She made Viper lose his cool.
    Viper: ...Are you saying what you're saying?
    Maki: Yeah, I question the diet of peanuts.
    Viper: YOU DO NOT QUESTION THE PEANUT!!
    *Beat*
    Maki: Pffhahahahahahahaha! Did you really say that?! Com'on, say it again! That was gold!
