    Trailer
  • The trailer goes all-in on the "Florida Man" — or rather, Leonida Man — stereotype, with crazy antics uploaded to a Fictional Social Network accompanied by humorous descriptions of the events.
    • A scene in the trailer of an animal control officer dragging an alligator out of a swimming pool, uploaded by the state animal control bureau (the "POACH", for Protection of Animals and Controlled Hunting), is accompanied by the caption:
Stay alert VC! Remember to check for uninvited guests before the pool party
    • A scene of a woman twerking on the roof of a car is accompanied by the caption:
Someone call the department of transport on this dumptruck #have.a.vice.day
    • A scene of a naked man running from the cops in front of a gas station, uploaded by the "PlanetLeonidaMan" account, is accompanied by the caption:
Usually gotta hit the strip club to see jiggle like that fr
    • A scene of a man stopped on the side of the highway, grabbing his crotch to taunt another driver (who's filming it), is accompanied by the caption:
Only in Leonida is a crotch grab an apology for bad driving
    • One scene is a direct parody of the "hammer Karen" incident where a woman wielding a pair of hammers attacked her neighbor's car after going on a racist tirade. The caption informs the viewer:
Neighborhood watch don't play around in Hamlet
  • A brief shot in the trailer shows Jason and Lucia passing a billboard advertising a medication (presumably an antidepressant) called Angstipan, which boasts that "it cures emotions!" The fine print says that you should call a doctor if your erection lasts longer than four hours, a famous side effect of erectile dysfunction medications like Viagra and Cialis.
  • One shot in the trailer is a News Broadcast on the Spanish-language network Mega Noticias of a man being booked by the police with purple hair and a face covered in Embarrassing Tattoos. The worst of them is probably the word "IMPENTINENT" on his forehead, likely a misspelled "IMPENITENT," meaning someone who doesn't feel remorse for their actions. The Spanish-language caption reveals that the tattoos gave him away and got him arrested.
  • In the trailer, the news ticker on the Weazel News broadcast has headlines about an escaped mental patient winning the Vice City marathon and a Leonida man demanding the city buy him a new suit after he got sucked into a waterspout.
  • A sign in the store Lucia and Jason are holding up at the end of the trailer reads: "We will no longer accept cash stored in underwear".
