  • Some of the unique character interactions said by Vyrn during a match add some humor in an otherwise serious combat:
(When having a Mirror Match of Grans) Vyrn: Take out that lizard!
(When Gran summons Proto Bahamut against Ferry) Vyrn: She's a ghost, she'll be fine.
  • Charlotta's "hurt" animations are basically just variations of the >_< emoticon. One can even get a close-up of it when Ladiva uses her "Maximum Love Bomb" Diving Kick move.
  • Speaking of Charlotta, her intro when she's on the Player 2 side is also priceless: The duel opens with a dramatic close-up on Charlotta, appearing tall and imposing, her sword planted on the ground... at least until the camera zooms out to reveal that she's standing on a wooden box in an attempt to appear taller. She then starts acting awkwardly while trying to explain herself. Examples include:
    • Vs. Ferry:
Charlotta: Wah! It's only proper to start a bout eye to eye, right? (jumps) Please don't tell anyone else I lack perspective.
Ferry: (Petting Nicola) Confidential she says? Fine, if you win, I'll keep your secret!
    • Vs. Metera:
Charlotta: Um, this is... (jumps) I wanted to match your height while you flew! The I could face you head on!
Metera: What an adorable excuse! I could just pinch those cheeks.
    • Vs. Zeta:
Charlotta: This box is something I found lying around! I was testing its sturdiness... (jumps) Now, let us have a fair fight.
Zeta: You mean you don't use that thing to get a height advantage? Well, whatever. Let's go!
    • Vs. Djeeta:
Charlotta: Oh! This is because, um... (jumps) Look at that! Time for sparring practice!
Djeeta: You guys... Let's just pretend like we didn't see any of that. Specially the whole box part.
      Vyrn: Didn't see nothin'!
      Lyria: Ye-yes of course!
    • Vs. Vira:
Charlotta: I, I'm standing atop this box to survey the landscape! (jumps) If you thought you saw something else... well, that's your folly!
Vira: Do forgive me. That crate was manufactured at the academy. It's your if you'd like.
    • In a Mirror Match:
P2 Charlotta: Oops! I was so preoccupied with the box that... (jumps) I almost didn't see you.
P1 Charlotta: Ooh, the impudence of you! I'll make you regret your words.
    • And her victory scene is also worth a chuckle or two: When the battle is concluded, The Captain of the Order of Lumiel is standing atop a stack of three boxes, smiling triumphantly. Suddenly, the boxes start staggering and Charlotta loses her balance, stumbles and falls, all while she was trying to make a speech about how a dignified captain presents herself... or not.
  • Much like Xrd, each character has unique reactions and very cartoony facial expressions when caught in various supers.
  • Lowain in general, as the trio generally reacts humorously to things and their win lines often have a way of lampshading or poking fun at things like arbitrarily elemental alignments, Percival's popularity/merchandising power, and mirror matches.
    • Special mention goes to his victory screen: Canonically, Lowain and his bros stand zero chance at taking on anyone from the cast. Whenever he wins a fight, it's revealed to be an Imagine Spot of him and his bros talking about how they theoretically could (or coudn't) take whoever on in a fight.
    • His Super Skybound Art finisher scene implies that they dropped the fight discussion in favor of fawning over Yggsadril.
  • If there are two male characters, preferably pretty guys like the Dragon Knights, fighting in the stage where Lunalu is in, Lunalu who is normally basking down in the sunlight, will start drawing the two characters furiously that you won't notice until someone points it out.
  • The closest Narmaya comes to being murderous is when she finds out that Lowain's bros ate the chocolate she was making for the Captain.
Narmaya: *uncharacteristically furious* You've crossed me. Your lives are MINE!
    • Outdoing Narmaya in terms of being murderous toward Lowain, Vira doesn't even need much reason to want to kill him and his bros. She just approaches or calls them out of the blue in each of her intros and states that she intends to end them with very little dialogue wasted on them. Even her victory screen against them has a few very short words. Grimdark humor to be sure, but it's still kinda funny how much she just wants them dead for trying to flirt with Katalina as they do.
    Vira: "Good night. Forevermore."
    • And perhaps outdoing even Vira in murderous intent towards the trio, Nier doesn't even beat around the bush, directly and bluntly stating she's about to kill them after she got the slightest hint of their Casanova Wannabe attitudes. At least Vira has somewhat of a reason in trying to kill off any competition for Katalina...
Nier: "Never mind... Death, kill them."
  • Ferry has some funny reactions to being caught off-guard:
When hit by an overhead attack while guarding low: My ears!
When hit by a low attack while guarding normally: That's low!
  • Ladiva being voiced by Patrick Seitz, and also due to some of her hilarious lines, is a gold mine of comedy. Examples:
When using the triple attack variation of Headbutt of Love: Never. Ask. A Lady. Her AGE!
When using the EX version of Jewel Resort Screwdriver: Naughty kids GET THE DRIVER!
When using Maximum Love Bomb: Congratulations! You've won a trip - to LOVE TOWN!
  • Nearly every single line of dialogue from Belial. Both his Japanese and English VAs sound like they're having the time of their lives getting to throw out all those innuendos and insane evil laughter in such an over-the-top, trollish, and horny tone.
  • One of Narmaya's basic jabs has a hitbox on her boobs.
  • Cagliostro vs Zooey reveals that the former convinced the latter to work with her with the promise of making the world's cutest pie.
  • In Narmaya's intro when she's on the Player 1 side, she seems to be in a meditating stance, but a close-up reveals that she was sleeping.
  • Everything and anything involving Grimnir.
    • During his Skybound Art and his win pose, there's a random chance he'll end up flubbing one of the cool lines he came up with, resulting in him immediately panicking and asking for a do-over.
    • Special mention goes to his intro with Lowain, where he invites them to try coming up with a dramatic intro like him. The brofam try, in vain, to come up with one only to give up partway through. Then Grimnir reveals he meant for them to join in on his own dramatic intro.
    • In his intro against Narmaya, he's mortified that she's sleeping before the battle, as this means she doesn't get to see his super cool dramatic entrance!
  • The names of Anila's actions or skills are puns or wordplay on her sheep Animal Motifs, like "Flock to the Future", "Fluff 'Em, Stuff 'Em!", or "Over the Fence". What takes the cake however, is "Ramification", a clever Stealth Pun.
  • Anila's interaction for her intro with Gran is pretty great. She calls them out for being the culprits who stole her bean jelly and prepares to punish them. Gran just tells Lyria and Vyrn to run while he buys them time, which they comply to while Lyria apologizes and Vyrn flies away in terror.
  • Lucilius often has something cruel and condescending to say against whoever he's fighting. Against the Lowain Bros on the other hand? He says nothing and just prepares to kill them.
