Go To

  • Takada's backstage segment with Goldberg about how Ogawa is a chicken. Takada's awkward, heavily accented English only sells it.
  • In HUSTLE-3, Pimpinela Escarlata, the exótico wrestler from Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, flirting with Mark Coleman and kissing his cornerman after exiting the ladies' toilet.
  • Commander An Jo communicating with the giant frog Gama Daio in his language.
An Jo: Tsugihaiyoiyo! Gama Daio nodebandeshu, gero gero!
    Gama Daio: Gapokuokoroshimasu, gero gero!
  • The subsequent match between Daio and Hashimoto is so slow and bizarre (complete with a bribed referee, Guillotine Legrande, whom Hashimoto himself attacks) that Hashimoto admits it was an embarrassing affair.
  • RIKISHI dancing with HUSTLE Kamen Red and Blue after his match in HUSTLE-5.
  • The abuse suffered by Taichi Ishikari to Kawada's hands, which sometimes reached Black Comedy levels.
    • Mick Foley himself and his baseball bat joining the party to beat Ishikari up.
    • Kawada beating Ishikari up for thinking more about eating than wrestling... and that while Ishikari was actually fearing for losing a match in front of his parents.
    • Even when Ishikari replaced the promotion's announcer in, claiming he did it because he hadn't a match booked in that card, Kawada attacked him, assuring he would talk with the GM if it was a match what Ishikari wanted.
  • The whole Monster Battle Royal in HUSTLE House Vol.4, a "Tokyo Dome-level project" that Chief Shimada put together with the Monster Army thugs. It sounds awesome on paper, only that Shimada's idea of a Tokyo Dome-level thing was a bizarre MMA-rules battle royal that had all the wrestlers clinching and making short brawling in the ring corners. The result is so boring that not only neutral GM Sasahara looks bored, but Takada himself intervenes, changing the rules to a regular battle royal and degrading Shimada to private to Anjo's amusement.
  • Erica, also known as Aja Kong, reacting with anger every time someone doesn't reinforce her belief that she is beautiful.
    • Taichi Ishikari downright refuses to team up with such an ugly woman because his friends and family would be watching. She only refrains from attacking him because Kawada stops her and tells her to use her anger on the Monster Army. Even worse for Ishikari, they go to lose their match.
    • Erica introducing Margaret as the first member of her "HUSTLE Bijou Gundan" (bijou meaning "beauty") in HUSTLE-10. The vain Spanky's reaction at having to team up with her is so prizeless that their enemy An Jo actually feels pity for him. And then Erica demanding Spanky to do the Titanic pose with them...
    • Ryoji Sai reacting just as Ishikari, even although he had previously thrilled to wrestle. He also receives the additional joke of being nicknamed "HUSTLE Won Bin" (due to Sai supposedly resembling South Korean actor Won Bin) by them. And then they lose the match because An Jo placed Sai to be joke-kissed by Margaret instead of him, which makes Sai so dizzy that he is pinned.
  • Hikaru catching Kantoku Nakamura reading the Yinling photobook and trying to make her do the M pose, claiming it was for researching on their enemies. She kicks him for being a perv.
    • In HUSTLE-7, Hikaru catches Kantoku reading the Yinling photobook again. Then RIKISHI, the world expert in weaponized arses, points at Yinling's in the photos and says dead seriously for them to watch for it. (Kantoku doesn’t listen to him, though, so Hikaru kicks him.)
  • Before a team match in HUSTLE-11, Shamoji Fujii and Tetsuhiro Kuroda are arguing about who will be the team's captain. Ishikari comes out and says he will be, as he is a true King's Road wrestler, while Kuroda is an indy wrestler and Shamoji a mixed martial artist. Then GM Sasahara chooses the captains, and it is Kuroda.
  • This vignette after Kuroki did his first in-ring appearance to save Karate Girl.
KG: Alan Kuroki-san is really amazing! He dispersed the Monster Army in the blink of an eye. He is so unlike RG...
RG: Yeah, Kuroki, Kuroki all the day... So "the Man with 100 Faces", huh? What a mysterious guy... We can't trust him, desu YO!
Kuroki appears suddenly sat next to him, startling RG.
Kuroki: You can't trust me, huh? Wait to see my work at the next event in Ibaraki and then you will trust me. You will have reasons to do so.
Honkon: For now, Kuroki-kun, can you help us with the affair of HG?
RG: Oya-san, you have introduced us to Alan-san and I certainly appreciate it. But this guy, this detective or whatever, won't his services be too expensive?
Honkon: I couldn't pay him because he said it wasn't right... Why don't you ask him?
RG turns to Kuroki, but he has disappeared. There is a note in his place.
Kuroki's note: "Thank you for your delicious coffee, I am satisfied. Will we meet again? Kuroki."
  • After Takada announces he will be saying okay to HUSTLE, RG interprets this as the promotion closing, so he immediately asks Genichiro Tenryu if he will hire RG in his sushi restaurant so he will not be homeless. Tenryu's answer is smacking him.
