It's a crossover with Dragon Ball and the DC Universe that brings all the comedy both franchises are known for.

     Origin Saga
  • Part 1 of the Origin Saga is largely a barrel of laughs. Starting with Kakarot's childhood.
    • Kakarot is taken in by the Kents, who quickly find that Saiyan children are not bundles of joy.
    • After Kakarot mellows out from falling on his head, Martha Kent still sees he's not an ordinary boy. Among other things she finds it's better to home school as sending him to a public school is a mistake.
    • The narrator notes this version of Goku is still an idiot, but since Martha home schooled he is smarter than his illiterate canon counterpart.

  • Kakarot travels the globe and runs across the Atlantians, who decide he's not a threat, though the narrator notes he might be to the sea life population.

  • What brings Kakarot to Metropolis? He hears that Lex Luthor is the most powerful man on Earth and assumes he must be the World's Strongest Man. He is utterly confused when Luthor declines his challenge, security tries to escort him out, and when Luthor goes down to a single punch. The narrator notes that Kakarot punching out Luthor is a humiliation that Luther would never forget.
    • The narrator notes Lobo was among the threats Kakarot fought in Metropolis, and then after the fight, they would go out for lunch.

  • As much as Vegeta's origin story is far more depressing and serious in this universe, the video for it ends with this Mood Whiplash:
    Darkseid: I am the revelation. The Tiger-Force at the core of all things. When you cry out in your dreams, it is Darkseid that you see.
    Lanipator!Vegeta: What the hell are you on about!?

     Saiyan Saga

    Entity Saga
  • Before leaving the Earth to hunt for the Emotional Entities Kakarot asks Lady Shiva, arguably the deadliest, non-superpowered killer to ....... look after the Kent family farm. She accepts.
  • The first Emotional Entity the heroes come across is Ophidian, owned by Larfleeze. He of course has no intention of handing it over. Seeing Kakarot's wrath form he mistakes him for a Super Saiyan;
    Larfleeze: A Super Saiyan!? After all of these centuries, you will be mine oh mythic monkey!
    Kakarot: Huh, Super Saiyan? Sorry, but I don't know what that is. I'm just a Saiyan raised on Earth.
    Larfleeze: Oh wait. No, the Super Saiyan is meant to be different. Never mind, I've never seen that before either so GIVE IT TO ME!
    • Rather than defeating Larfleeze, Kakarot instead offers him something he doesn't have that is better than anything in his collection. Larfleeze is insulted and demands to know how Kakarot would know "what such a fable best ever thing would be." Rather than answering his question, Kakarot has another one;
    Kakarot: Got any food?
    Larfleeze: Glomulus, prepare what the Earthlings call snacks.
    Larfleeze: I have never seen someone consume so much, with no end in sight. Saiyan, I think we might be ALMOST friends. What is the best thing you want, so that I can take it?
    Kakarot: Mmm? It's goin on a mystical adventure!
    Larfleeze: An adventure? Very well! You will all join me on MY adventure then. Yes, it will be within my grasp.
    • In short, Kakarot meets one of the most dangerous beings in the known universe, befriends him, and makes him an ally.

  • Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, and Larfleeze come across a planet that might be a location of an emotional entity. Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl decide to investigate, but leave Larfleeze. Martian Manhunter has a fun way of getting him to stay.
    Martian Manhunter: Larfleeze, I need you to stay and protect YOUR ship, it would be disastrous if someone stole it from you while we were away.
    Larfleeze: Yes, yes, of course! I won't let anyone near all my shiny new stuff! The LexCorp kitchen utensils are mine and mine alone!

  • Kakarot defeats a Parallax possessed Batman with an attack where he shapes his ki into a dragon, referencing the Super Dragon Fist. Due to the lack of the Dragon Balls in the series, the attack doesn't exist as a reference to Shenron. So why did he shape his ki into the shape of a dragon? In his own words;
    Kakarot: I dunno..It just felt right, y know.

  • Back on Earth, Orion came to kill Vegeta, which he managed to turn to his advantage to escape his prison. He still can't escape the Earth, so Diana comparing the Saiyans to the Spartans causes him to want to learn more. Thus we Vegeta trying to learn something about Earth. His first attempt is by stealing the phone of the first person he met;
    Vegeta: Device I demand you to tell me the location of this "Spaarta."
    • This attempt fails not because phones don't work that way, but because Vegeta didn't know the password to unlock it. He made more attempts by stealing from more people, all while the armor restraining him means he can't kill any of them, much to his annoyance.

  • The trio of Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, and Larfleeze find a lead to another Emotional Entity on Zamaron. Very quickly things start to go south as their ship is destroyed by a grief-stricken Carol Ferris. As Carol is about to kill Hawkgirl, we have a Big Damn Heroes from a very angry Larfleeze as Carol managed to push multiple his Berserk Button, more than once.
    Larfleeze: YOU BROKE MY SHIP!
    Larfleeze: YOU DESTROY MY STUFF!
    • Hawkgirl later attempts to intervene in Larfleeze's fight with Carol as the clash threatens to destroy the planet. Larfleeze's expresses his concern for their safety, while still worrying about his collection.
    Larfleeze: FOOL! I don't need help! You'll die and I'll lose a limited edition companion!
    • With their ship destroyed trio the trio teleport to the planet where Kakarot is being hounded by Rogal Zaar using the power of the Love Entity. Kakarot asks who they did that, and Hawkgirl, with a tone of embarrassment, explains that the Love Entity lets someone teleport to a person they love. Whose love?
    Kakarot: I'M REALLY CONFLICTED ON HOW TO FEEL RIGHT NOW!

     Super Saiyan Saga
  • When Kakarot wakes up after escaping the planet Rogal Zaar set to explode in the event of his death, he sees the heavenly scenery around him, and he panics thinking that he's dead. After pinching himself he confirms that he is very much alive.
    • Kakarot hears a voice calling to him. He has trouble figuring out where it's coming from before concluding it's coming from a tree, which he embraces as a friend. The voice tells him he's not, incorrect, the tree is a part of him. But in fact, the voice is coming from Mogo, the very planet he's standing on.
    • After training with Mogo for months, Kakarot decides it's time to leave. Mogo can't get too close to a planet without his gravity damaging, but Kakarot has an idea as to how he can propel him the rest of the way. His plan? Create a construct in the form of a giant slingshot with a sphere of energy around Kakarot, and fling him at the War World.
    • Kakarot realizes he didn't put much thought into his form transportation, having underestimate the amount of time it would take to get to War World and he gets bored. As he approaches the planet he has a different problem; the sphere of energy he's traveling in has no breaks so into the planet.

  • As Kakarot recovers from the crash meets and befriends Broly. Chatting, he comments Broly is strong but is certain he can take him in his current state.

  • The Black Mercy puts Kakarot in a dream where he's living with the Kents, both still alive, and a living Raditz has joined the family. While fishing, the two get into an argument, started by Kakarot saying one of the foods brought by Jonathan Kent is his favorite. Raditz complains Kakarot said all foods are his favorites, to which Kakarot responds that every food is his favorite. Raditz responds that's not how favorites work.

  • After Wonder Woman releases Vegeta and spars with him, he shows that he can turn Super Saiyan after a short fight. He expects Wonder Woman to be impressed by his power. She is impressed, by how beautiful the form is. Vegeta is taken aback because he never expected her to comment on his looks.

     Doom Saga

  • Gohan knocks out Major Force with a single punch before turning his focus to Deathstroke. The narration goes on about how Deathstroke had been in combat for decades, facing hopeless situations before, and had battled Kakarot. So he knew the only way out of this. He gave up and begged for mercy.
    • The in video reaction on Deathstroke to Gohan, he flashes back to a fight with Kid!Kakarot (which contains clips of classic Dragon Ball Goku vs Mercenary Tao), and promptly freaks out with a No. Just... No reaction to encountering another Saiyan kid hero.

  • Kakarot meets Wonder Woman after his return to Earth, and after parting with Gohan she asks Kakarot how strong he was. Kakarot in response warps over to Gohan, who is weirded out by what he sees, and he then asks the boy how strong he is. Gohan states that Luthor estimates at full strength he can destroy a solar system. Kakarot warps back to Diana and relays Gohan's statement. Then he asks Diana what a solar system is.

  • At the Daily Planet, Gohan manages to start a discussion regarding who would win between Kakarot and Lex Luthor (who in this universe uses the alias Superman), arguing Luthor would win, while Jenny Olson argues Kakarot would win. In short, the characters in this series go into Goku vs Superman debate. Kakarot himself doesn't help matters by bringing up the time he punched out Luthor. He's not even bragging when he does it, he just brings it up in a matter-of-fact tone.

  • Gohan's time on the Teen Titans, highlights include bonding with Damian Wayne, extensively quizzing Raven as to the mechanics of her magical powers, causing Deathstroke to have a screaming Freak Out when his usual antics of battling the Titans are thrown off by Gohan's presence and Gohan being confused that the Titans count Deathstroke a threat as he considers "Mr Wilson" a pushover.

  • Kakarot adopting Cassandra Cain, gifting her his nimbus and power pole as making up for previous birthdays? Heartwarming. Jumping for joy and giggling nonstop Cassandra proceeds to get into a breakneck race on the Nimbus cloud against Damian Wayne behind the wheel of the Batmobile while Damian treats the experience as Serious Business? Hysterically funny.

  • Vegeta as part of his efforts to reform has to find a little girl that ran away from home. His idea of helping the girl who ran away from home to escape her older brother's bullying? Lay out that she should beat her older brother into submission. Upon being brought back to her family she *proceeds to follow his advice*.
    • The Flash compliments Vegeta on his Character Development as showcased by the above, Vegeta insists he only spared the girl because based on her performance she could be a proper challenge down the line with Flash clearly not believing a word of it.
