• This line of dialogue shows what exactly the relationship between Thorson and Shiranui will be like for the rest of the story.
  Shiranui: You don't trust me.
  Thorson: Not even as far I can throw you.
  Shiranui: You can't throw me.
  Thorson: Sounds about right.
  Shiranui: I hate you, idiot Shikikan.
• Any time Laffey goes to Thorson's bed, in only her panties. Even Akashi joins in on the fun.
• Thorson and Cleveland's Casual Danger Dialogue. Just read it to believe.
  Cleveland: That's a shard, and something's really, really wrong with it.
  Thorson: Oh really, what tipped you off? The fact that it looks like pure evil or the fact that she's in immense pain?
  Cleveland: The only reason I'm not slapping you is because the link is telling me you're using sarcastic humor as a coping mechanism!
  Thorson: Not me being your Commander?!
  Cleveland: You're one step from fucking Laffey, Commander!
  Thorson: And far too many from fucking Pennsylvania!
  [beat]
  Cleveland: By my quad Bofors batteries, you do have the hots for her!
• Pennsylvania's first meeting with the child destroyers.
  They make Laffey look like a bombshell!
• Thorson's Unwanted Harem situation and the drama that comes with it. Royal Navy sees this and wishes they had popcorn.
• How did Shiratsuyu convince Yuudachi to defect from the Sakura and join Azur Lane? By offering to cook some nice meat for her. Yuudachi takes the bait.
• The first time Thorson sees a Manjuu is when one of them pops up from between Ooshio's cleavage. As Word of God states, it's a Manjuu with class.
• The "opening" of the onsen when Cleveland fires her shells after having sex with Thorson with extreme ecstasy.
• Ark Royal shooting tea out of her nose after Kisaragi learns the word "wench" from Thorson.
• A bit of Mood Whiplash after Zuikaku finds the late Shouhou's cubes and goes on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge against the Union.
  Zuikaku: Finally, at long last... you can rest easy.
  Shoukaku: It's been a day, sister.
• Prior to leaving for Midway, Akagi refers to Enterprise as "Union Bitch" for her part in the event that would become the Doolittle Raid.
• Haruna manages to take down an aircraft, but here's the response from that: Kirishima chastises her while Kongou praises her little sister's effort, leading to Kirishima muttering Kongou's relation to the Royal Navy, which in turn leads to awkward silence. Haruna breaks it by saying thank you to Kongou.
• Following Azur Lane putting a wrench on Sakura Empire's assault, Thorson and Fusou "get down to business". The reactions from the fleet just sell it.
  California: Think of the destroyers!
  Laffey: Laffey has never heard such bullshit before, no no. She is an adult who will lay with the Commander, yes she will.
  Javelin: Such behavior is unbecoming of a royal knight, Knight Commander! And watch your language, Laffey!
  Z23: By the Fatherland… what a blitzkrieg.
• Tensions between the Azur Lane Kansen and the Eagle Union sailors reach an all time high, ultimately leading to a brawl at the mess hall. Then came the dog pile, both metaphorically and literally as Yuudachi and Shigure join in.
  • It's revealed that Pennsylvania threw them into the pile.
• Enterprise and Hornet's reaction towards the fact that Thorson has slept with half of Azur Lane is priceless.
• This little gem when Thorson responds to Souryuu's plans on ending his life ala Honey Trap.
  Thorson: What’s with that look? I’m already on borrowed time near as I can tell. I could have easily died at Pearl Harbor or in any of the battles since. Making love with you as my final act in this world wouldn’t be the worst way to go.
  Souryuu: You disgust me.
• The ending to Chapter 73 where Nagato declares Kaga to be Thorson's bride. The reactions to it are hilarious.
