- The Sirens appeared and made contact with humanity, offering them the mysterious objects, Wisdom Cubes. (''Unknown Date, 1931)
- Azur Lane was formed by the four major powers (i.e. Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Ironblood and Sakura Empire) with the purpose on researching the Wisdom Cubes. (Unknown Date, 1931)
- The Kansen race were born.
- The Nanjing Massacre occurred, an act that disgusted several Sakura Empire Kansen. (Dec 9, 1937)
- Azur Lane dissolved (Unknown Date, 1939)
- World War II occured (Sep 1, 1939).
- Royal Navy encountered Siren designate "Princess" who offered the Kansen sanctuary in return for betraying their nation. Kansen leader, Queen Elizabeth rejected it.
- Royal Navy, Hood was killed by Ironblood, Bismarck. (May 24, 1941)
- Bismarck was finally killed by Royal Navy, members including King George V and Ark Royal. (May 26-27, 1941)
- Tirpitz remained unable to participate in the war effort (Unknown Date, 1941)
- Queen Elizabeth was given full command of Royal Navy Kansen forces.
- Ironblood Kansen joined the Sirens following their assassination of their nation's naval high command.
- Sakura Empire Kansen, Akagi and Kaga staged a coup and allied with the Siren forces. Loyalists were dealt with like Shiranui who was killed for speaking out against the plan.
- Eagle Union officer, Commander Andrew Thorson arrived at Pearl Harbor naval base and was briefed about his new assignment on the KANSEN project. (Dec 7, 1941)
- Sakura Empire attacked Pearl Harbor causing many casualties, among them was Admiral Hawkins. (Dec 7, 1941)
- Arizona was killed by Sirens. Her Wisdom Cubes were recovered by Commander Thorson. (Dec 7, 1941)
- Commander Thorson met up with Laffey and the two escaped Pearl Harbor together. (Dec 7, 1941)
- Thorson and Laffey arrived on Azur Lane base. (Dec 9, 1941)
- Repulse and Prince of Wales were killed during Sakura Empire attack, along with many personnel, including Midshipman Andrew Tennyson whose remains were recovered by Vampire. (Dec 10, 1941)
- Azur Lane rescued USS Demeter from Sakura Empire ships. Creation of the mechanic squad (aka bulins) by Akashi. (Dec 14, 1941)
- Eagle Union Kansen went AWOL and eventually wind up on Azur Lane base. (Dec 16, 1941)
- Eagle Union Kansen aboard USS Pennsylvania arrive at Azur Lane base. (Dec 18, 1941)
- First true sortie of Azur Lane fleet. Sakura Kansen Nachi killed, while Hatsuharu, Yuugure, and Shiratsuyu are captured by Thorson's fleet. First encounter with Siren-influenced (red) shards. (Dec 22, 1941)
- Sakura destroyers Mutsuki, Kisaragi, and Mikazuki captured at Azur Lane base by Tennessee and Pennsylvania. (Dec 23, 1941)
- Nachi's cube laid to rest at Azur Lane base. (Dec 24, 1941)
- Sakura Kansen Fusou and Yamashiro arrive at Azur Lane base, pursued by Kirishima and several drone ships. Drone ships are sunk, but Yamashiro perishes. She is revived through the efforts of her sister Fuso and the conductive matrix. Arizona revived by Azur Lane technology. Kirishima takes the remainder of the wisdom cubes not already in use. (Feb 5, 1942)
- Siren carrier Strategist launches air attack against Azur Lane base. Attack is repelled by Azur Lane. Due to final volley from Pennsylvania and Tennessee, Strategist is denied solid combat intelligence. Royal Navy fleet arrives at Azur Lane base, consisting of Kansen Warspite, Ark Royal, Leander, Vampire, and Javelin. Thorson helps Vampire cope with the grief of losing her lover to the Sakura. Fusou and Yamashiro undergo retrofit process. Midshipman Tennyson's remains laid to rest at Azur Lane base. Vampire swears blood oath to Commander Thorson. (Feb 6, 1942)
- Ironblood Kansen Z23 arrives at Azur Lane base, pursued by Ironblood submarines. (Feb 7, 1942)
- Z23 confirms defection of Ironblood Kansen to Sirens. Thorson knighted by Warspite. Azur Lane and Royal Navy formed an alliance. Laffey integrates hull cube of Z23, undergoes retrofit. (Feb 8, 1942)
- Azur Lane fleet departed for the Java Sea. (Feb 9, 1942)
- Sakura Kansen Ooshio, Asashio, Michishio, and Arashio captured by Azur Lane fleet. Fusou sends the Sakura dead to their rest (Feb 20, 1942)
- Azur Lane arrives at Surabaya, meet Admiral Doorman. (Feb 21, 1942)
- Ooshio receives rigging shard. Commander Thorson meets Eagle Union Kansen Houston and gives her wisdom shard. Shiratsuyu and Z23 receive rigging. (Feb 24, 1942)
- The Battle of Java Sea took place. Admiral Doorman sacrifices himself and most of ABDA fleet to spring Sakura Kansen Jintsuu's trap. Houston activates rigging, but looses hull. Laffey activates retrofit weapon (annihilation mode) for the first time in combat, sinking Sakura hull Harusame and Tokitsukaze and startling Jintsuu and her sister Naka. Arizona activates the Eagle's Tears healing ability for the first time in combat. Tennessee and Downes go into hand-to-hand combat with Jintsuu and Naka. Downes consumes Houston's hull cube, achieves retrofit, then beats Naka. Tennessee beats Jintasuu. Sakura Kansen Kaga uses Siren technology from the Sanctuary to project her hull onto the battlefield and begins massive air assault. Yuudachi and Yukikaze defect to Azur Lane fleet to avoid Kaga's attack (and because Shiratsuyu promised meat...) losing Yuudachi's hull in the process. Royal Navy Kansen Exeter and a number of escorts remain behind to continue the fight in Doorman's memory. Battle ended in Sakura Empire victory. (Feb 27, 1942)
- Following the battle, Azur Lane obtained prisoners of war and rescued surviving allies. Thorson tells Ark Royal about how the Sakura carriers learned their planes.(Feb 27, 1942)
- Sakura Kansen Kasumi joins Azur Lane fleet on their way back to base. Thorson is able to see Foo (Kasumi's spirit companion). First encounter with combat support birds (aka manjuu). Eagle Union Kansen Phoenix and Langley catch-up with Azur Lane fleet. (Feb 28, 1942)
- Langley begins to instruct Ark Royal about P-40. (Mar 1, 1942)
- Azur Lane returns to base, offer sanctuary to the manjuu staying on Langley's hull. Yamashiro introduces Sakura Kansen Shigure, who arrived while the fleet was on their journey. Shigure joins Azur Lane. African-American steward's mate Frederick Miles joins Azur Lane. Thorson makes first visit to the Azur Lane shrine. Phoenix and Langley depart alongside Warspite and the Royal Navy Kansen, leaving behind Ark Royal and Javelin. Official opening of onsen. (Mar 14, 1942)
- Commander Thorson helps Ark Royal solve problem with launching P-40s (too much weight...). (Mar 15, 1942)
- Eagle Union Kansen Colorado, Maryland, West Virginia, California, and South Dakota arrive at Azur Lane base, carry cubes of deceased Union Kansen Oklahoma and Nevada. New battleships are given rigging and join Azur Lane fleet. Oklahoma and Nevada's cubes laid to rest at Azur Lane shrine. (Mar 25, 1942)
- Azur Lane celebrated Easter Sunday. Naka officially joins Azur Lane. (Apr 5, 1942)
- Hornet and Enterprise took part in the Doolittle Raid. (Apr 18, 1942)
- The Battle of the Coral Sea took place. (May 7, 1942)
- Eagle Union lost Sims and Captain Hyman while Sakura Empire lost Shouhou. (May 8, 1942)
- Azur Lane intervened, repelling Sakura Empire forces. Second time annihilation mode is used, disrupting attempted kamikaze strike from Sakura Kansen Shoukaku and Zuikaku.(May 8, 1942)
- Lexington survived due to Azur Lane's aid. (May 8, 1942)
- Due to meeting Union Kansen Minneapolis, Yamashiro has a vision of her death at Surigao in our timeline. Kasumi and Yamashiro explain that the Sirens have shown alternate versions of history to the Sakura Kansen. Minneapolis joins Azur Lane. (May 10, 1942)
- Azur Lane return to base, receive warning that they are target of Sakura Empire aggression. (June 3, 1942)
- Azur Lane sailed out to Midway. (June 4, 1942)
- The Battle of Midway began.
- Sakura Empire decimated a majority of Midway's defenses and Eagle Union fleet, killing countless personnel, including Hornet.
- Azur Lane rescued Eagle Union from defeat due to air attack from Ark Royal and Azur Lane capital ships.
- Azur Lane and Sakura Empire engaged each other. Sakura Kansen Hiei suffers strike from annihilation mode which leaves half of her body burned.(June 5, 1942)
- Azur Lane won and Sakura Empire retreated. Souryuu, Hiryuu and several more Kansen were left behind and captured. (June 5, 1942)
- Yorktown is killed by submarine attack. (June 5, 1942)
- Azur Lane and Eagle Union officially formed an alliance to tackle the Sakura Empire threat. (June 6, 1942)
- Sakura Kansen killed at Midway laid to rest at Azur Lane shrine. (June 6, 1942)
- Admiral Chester Nimitz and Eagle Union Kansen arrive at Azur Lane base. Hornet and Yorktown laid to rest, while Brooklyn and Thorson brief Nimitz on Kansen and developments in cube tech. (June 8, 1942)
- Hornet revived as her Essex-class hull (CV-12) due to efforts of her sister Enterprise. (June 8, 1942)
- Enterprise receives rigging, officially joins Azur Lane (June 9, 1942)
- Azur Lane officially recognized by Eagle Union High Command during a ceremony that sees a number of Kansen receiving awards, including the Congressional Medal of Honor for Hornet. Plans are made for the coming attack on Sanctuary. (June 14, 1942)
