  • In "The Depths Of Time", Zolrath offers to send you 100 years into the past to prevent a village from being burned down by bandits. You can fight the bandits off... or you can burn down the village yourself. Zolrath's reaction is equal parts What the Hell, Hero? and panic at his plan to Make Wrong What Once Went Right being foiled by your Violation of Common Sense. Turns out, if that village had survived, some of the innocent villagers' not-so-innocent descendants would have become demon cultists and Zolrath's originators, meaning that the village's destruction was a case of Shoot the Dog.
  • All characters have a line of dialogue when giving the player a gift in the Oak Inn.
    • Ainz parodies an early scene from his home franchise.Original context
"This is The Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown, this ring can... Actually, in this world, it can't do anything. Please just accept it as a gift."
    • Ulmus, a treant, thinks the furniture might have been a friend of his.
    • Rowan has some non-dialog text indicating that he gave you some actual payment for once instead of coupons.
    • Grezhul wonders if Thoran would like to move in with him. Meanwhile, Thoran is complaining about his room being too small, so it's safe to assume the answer is probably "no".
    • Elijah and Lailah complain about people treating them as one and the same along with each other's snoring. In unison.
    • One that unfortunately didn't make it into the English translation is Nemora claiming that she loves the sounds the floor makes when she trots across it. In turn, we have Seirus complaining that Nemora won't stop.
  • After using his Throwing Axes ability, Khasos catches them on the return trip to gain attack speed. He also has a chance of not catching the axes, which instead bonk him in the face.
  • One of Pippa's signature skills is turning opponents (or herself by mistake) into an acorn with a Super-Deformed expression and stick figure limbs. All targets run back and forth in a panic.
  • An unintended consequence of changing one of Skreg's abilities from Savagehorn charging one last time for his fallen master into summoning smaller ironjaws every few seconds, but reusing the same charging animation, is that if one of the mini-ironjaws deals the final blow in a round, then a miniature Skreg spontaneously appears to join in the victory animation. Jokes in the fandom about how Skreg and Savagehorn can evidently clone themselves at will abound.
  • One of Raku's idle animations is his washing his food like raccoons actually do, using one of the fishbowls he wears around his hips for that purpose. However, the problem is, there's some layering issues with the graphics there, so it very noticeably looks like his hand — and the food he's washing — is going BEHIND the fishbowl and into his overalls. His delighted expression certainly doesn't help.
  • Satrana's old passive ability caused her to drop her fireseeds on death, at which point they detonate and ignite nearby enemies. The animation, on the other hand, had her dropping them and then bolting out of the battle. Regrettably, the animation went unused when her abilities were reworked.
  • In the Oak Inn, guests visiting each other will "speak" to each other with images in thought bubbles. Some interactions have pre-set images that will appear. For instance, after Rowan and his pet duck leave a room, whatever character he visited will often be thinking of a drumstick...
  • Skriath is the current grand chieftain of all Maulers. The second anniversary event revealed that he also plays jazz trumpet in a band with Gwyneth, Izold, and Lorsan under the persona of "The Kingpin". Despite his position equivalent to being the king of one of the most major factions on the planet, his bandmates have no idea who "The Kingpin" actually is. In addition, multiple fans have noticed that his costume makes him resemble a smooth criminal.
  • Geralt is the first Dimensional to have in-character interactions. His reaction to ending up in Esperia? Mild annoyance at being thrown into ANOTHER portal.
  • The Midwinter Carnival of 2023 has its fair share of funny moments. Some such moments include the various Fun Moments (Winter Fishing Contest ends with Warek angrily grabbing and tossing out fish after having caught only small fry, leaving Tidus in wide-eyed shock), to some of the dialogue from Liberta, Lucilla, and the various NCPs.
    • At the Frozen Prairie, Liberta and Lucilla end up coming across a fisherman, telling them not to interrupt his concentration. After Lucilla asks if the area he's at is a fishing spot and if she and her brother can try their hand at fishing, the fisher outright calls them NOOBS. Seeing a word often uttered in the modern age being said in a fantasy setting like Esperia is a rather interesting sight, to say the least.
    • Also within the Frozen Prairie, after helping Mishka get her stolen fish back, the player is presented with three interactable spots, revealing different pathways. One such path leads to a bonfire that, when lit, ends up summoning Ezizh in his Awakened form. Rather than be frightened by him, Lucilla asks if he would like to come to the celebration, to which he agrees, but then Lucilla asks how he's going to get onto the hot air balloon since he doesn't have any legs. Cue a Beat from Ezizh as he leaves the area, prompting Liberta to bring up how a being like Ezizh doesn't NEED legs to get to where he needs to go. The cherry on top of this encounter? Ezizh is the LAST character to arrive, with his Invite Criteria reading "It seems everyone's here. I'm not late, right?" Just the thought of imagining a demonic being with power over nightmares meekly asking if he's late to a party is just something else.
