Fridge / Who Killed Markiplier?

Go To

Fridge Horror

  • What happened to the previous owners of the Manor before Mark and co. acquired it? Did they meet a similar fate to Damien and Celine? Did they go insane like William? Or did they manage to leave before it was too late? We may never know.
  • Most of characters have all been accounted for at the end of episode 4: The D/A, Damien's soul, Celine's soul and the Evil Entity merge into Darkiplier and trap the D/A's soul in the Manor, stealing their body. George, Benjamin and Chef leave after Damien and Celine disappear. Mark escapes to the outside world in Damien's body. Colonel goes insane and leaves. That leaves Celine's body and Abe unaccounted for. It's been accepted that Abe follows Colonel out the Manor. So where's Celine's body?
    • Something else to consider; one effect of extended time in the Manor is longevity, presumably so the Evil Entity can live as long as possible. Darkiplier, Wilford, Benjamin, and Chef are all present in A Date with Markiplier, which takes place in present day. George most likely died of old age, as his longevity wouldn't be much longer because he hasn't been in the Manor for 15 years and only went in for a few minutes. Celine's body is still unaccounted for, but aside from that, where's Abe? Did he find Wilford and get killed by him? Is he hiding somewhere? Nobody knows.
      • As it turns out, we got somewhat of an answer: it was revealed in Benjamin's interview livestream that he was hospitalized after leaving the Manor. However, it's still up to interpretation whether he made it out of the hospital alive or not, but if he did, then that still doesn't answer the above questions: if he survived the hospital, what happened to him afterwards?
      • All of the questions about Abe's whereabouts was answered in the sequel, Wilford 'MOTHERLOVING' Warfstache... Sort of.
  • More of a "Fridge Tearjerker", but Benjamin stated in his interview livestream that Mark and Celine were Happily Married, and describes that they were practically made for each other. As such, he's confused as to why they broke apart. However, we, as the viewer know that Markiplier Manor is capable of manipulating others into doing things they wouldn't normally do for the sake of forwarding it's plan. Then you realize that Markiplier Manor most likely was responsible for breaking apart the two because it would help it achieve it's escape plan, despite how happy they were together.
