When he comes back to life, he conducts many tests to see how the Upside-down works, involving 37 stabbings, poisonings, beatings, strangling and drownings (in that order), he then realizes that he can come back from pretty much anything. • A little before 1:30 AM, Mark goads a drunken William into a game of Russian Roulette to make amends for past issues in order to initiate his plan. This results in William shooting Mark, killing him. Sometime after, the body is placed somewhere in the living room.
    • The District Attorney wakes up at 8:30 AM, greeting Benjamin and Damien. Mark's dead body falls into the living room and is discovered by Abe, Benjamin and Chef. Abe then proceeds the murder investigation, and conscripts the District Attorney into being his partner and informs Damien about the murder. Benjamin goes to check on the "other guests", as he puts it, Chef returns to the kitchen, and Damien goes to talk to William. Abe determines Mark's time of death and rules out himself and the District Attorney as innocent. The District Attorney explores the house. They run into William and Damien having an argument over Mark's death which ends with Damien angrily storming off. William recounts his perspective to the District Attorney on the events on the night before. Benjamin then takes the District Attorney to the wine cellar, to which they discover a broken wine bottle. Benjamin cleans up the mess while the District Attorney goes to talk to Chef. Chef tells about his experience of the night before, and has the District Attorney look into his "Little Buddy's" security system. After viewing a recording of a conversation between Mark and Abe, the District Attorney exits the Manor and meets up with Damien. Damien talks about his experiences with Mark and William, as well as how he feels lost. After he's done, Abe calls over the District Attorney to talk about a new discovery he just made: Mark's corpse has disappeared.
    • At some point after 8:30 AM, a 911 call was made pertaining to Mark's murder.
    • Sometime after Mark's body disappears, the Jim brothers start filming their news report at Markiplier Manor.
    • Word of the discovery spreads to Benjamin, Chef, and William, the latter of which says he's willing to "put the old lad down again" if the opportunity presents itself, causing Abe to be suspicious of him. Markiplier Manor is then locked down. Abe takes the District Attorney to Mark's bedroom while questioning why Mark even hosted the poker night in the first place. Upon inspecting Mark's bedroom, the Colonel appears and takes the District Attorney outside for a walk. William discusses his relationships with Damien and Mark before jumping into a pool. Damien enters, asking for William. He sees that he isn't there and leaves. William then exits the pool, and continues his discussion, talking about how Mark had "a great deal of enemies" and says that he suspects there were a number of people who wanted him dead. He then proceeds to go down to the Manor's golf course. Damien reenters, although a little too late to catch up with William. He takes the District Attorney on a walk to talk about his distrust of the Detective, as well as the possibility of there being more guests than they had all assumed. They're interrupted by the sound of a vase shattering, and run inside to investigate. They walk in on Abe & William holding each other at gunpoint, arguing. Benjamin and Chef enter the scene. William talks about how he couldn't have target practice on the Manor grounds, saying that the Chef would have been in his way. Chef retorts with the fact that he doesn't work for William anymore and sarcastically calls him "Private." William corrects him, saying that he's a Colonel now. Abe cuts off their argument and starts arguing with William again. At the most intense moment of their argument, Celine enters the Manor.
    • Celine asks everyone about what's going on, and they inform her that Mark has been murdered and the body is missing. Celine then tells them that they need to stop saying "murder". Teleporting to the living room, she explains that the lighting that has been striking every time "murder" is said is a result of some supernatural force. Some of the residents play with the lightning by saying different words, until the supernatural force sends them all to a table in another room. Celine reveals that she's well versed in the arcane arts and that the lightning is indicative that the situation is dangerous. She concludes that she needs to communicate with Mark's spirit to help resolve this issue. Celine takes the District Attorney with her to perform the seance, with Damien warning both to be careful. Celine then mentions that there are dark forces surrounding the house, and begins the seance. This leads to the District Attorney seeing different events of the past until finally seeing an unknown memory of them with Abe & Chef talking with George. They are then brought back to reality, and Celine asks them to illustrate what they saw. After making a less-than-stellar drawing of what they saw, the District Attorney hands the drawing to Celine, who gets frustrated and demand they go back. Damien enters the room and asks what's going on, leading to Celine yelling at him and Abe escorting the District Attorney out of the room. Abe, not understanding the drawing, hands it to Benjamin to see if he can make anything of it. Benjamin identifies the drawing as George, the Manor's groundskeeper, but dismisses the idea due to George only working on weekdays. Abe notices the Chef's behavior and demands he tell what he knows. Chef reveals that George has been living on the Manor grounds for years. Abe gets upset at this, raising the possibility that George could be the murderer. Celine enters the discussion with Damien, again demanding they all stop saying "murder". Chef advocates for George's innocence, which leads to an argument with Abe. Damien quickly interjects, suggesting that they should just go talk to George and settle things. Abe asks if Damien will come with, but he denies, saying he wants to make sure Celine stays safe. After a quick discourse, Celine begrudgingly agrees to let Damien stay with her. With the Colonel confirmed to be in his room, Abe, chef, and the District Attorney go to talk to George. When the 3 meet up with George, Abe relays all the relevant information to him. George then butts in after Abe says murder, initiating a lightning strike. George then reveals that he hasn't enetred the house in 15 years, and intends to keep it that way, saying that there's only one thing that will ever make him go back inside the house. Suddenly, a massive lightning strike occurs over the house, with George declaring "That there's the reason!" while sprinting inside. Abe, Chef, and the District Attorney follow until encountering Celine, bathed in a bright purple light, grinning evilly. With all their might, George and the District Attorney force the door to Celine's room shut.
    • William asks what happened in Celine's room, to which George replies that Damien and Celine are gone. He then leaves, calling the Manor cursed, and Chef follows suit. William runs of in rage while Abe follows. Benjamin then implores the District Attorney to leave, saying that "there's only death here now." The District Attorney then hears a voice calling out for help and enters a nebulous space, hearing the distorted voices of the Manor's inhabitants until they come upon Abe's office with a ton of evidence against William and Celine. William enters the office soon after, discovering the evidence against him and Celine. This infuriates him and leads him to conclude that Abe was responsible for all the events that occurred. William goes to find Abe, and when he does both men hold each other at gunpoint. Abe starts chastising William about his affair with Celine and him stealing money from Mark. The argument gets more heated until William shoots Abe. The District Attorney tries to disarm William, leading them to be shot as well. The District Attorney falls off the walkway and dies.

  • Sometime between the night of October 14th & the morning of October 15th, 1928
    • The soul of the District Attorney finds itself in the inky black void of the Upside-down. Mark's dead body flops on the ground, saying "It's not fair, isn't it?". The District Attorney is then greeted by Damien and Celine, who both lament their current situation, with Damien pointing out that Mark now has control of his body. Celine then proposes that she send the District Attorney back to the regular world. The District Attorney agrees and is sent back.

    • The District Attorney wakes up after exiting the Upside down 10 hours after being shot. They get up and look around the room, and see William holding Damien's cane. William comments on the fact that the District Attorney is alive. This leads him to conclude that he didn't kill anybody, that all the events of the past 2 days were just a big joke being played on him, and that Damien and Celine are still alive and just hiding. He leaves Damien's cane on the table and runs off to go find them, leaving the District Attorney alone. Upon grabbing Damien's cane, the District Attorney's appearance changes to that of Damien's. Looking into the mirror reveals a new entity: Darkiplier. He snaps his neck, shattering the mirror and leaving the District Attorney trapped in it for all eternity. Darkiplier then walks off as the District Attorney is left trapped. Abe leaves a warning to William, telling him that he "better run."
