Baiken'sGuest Fighter appearance has her smiling a lot more than usual here. In her world, Japan is now literally a hole in the ocean and she's the byproduct of the surviving colonies, so of course she would be happy getting to interact with many more Japanese people and explore a relatively-normal Japan here.
Nakoruru. She's an ainu priestess who is sent on nature's behest to take out the boss of each game because they're upsetting the balance of things. Seems perfectly heroic, right? Well, to accomplish that goal, she also kills people and rather than displaying any kind of regret, she simply coldly states that it's "Nature's Wrath". Seems awfully close to religious extremism, doesn't it?
To be fair, her win qoutes are more apologetic, but she's still a rather chilling character when you think about it.
In one of Kusaregedo‘s victory animations he bites off a chunk of himself and given that he fights by using the exposed bones in one of his arms. Does that mean that the reason behind it is because he ate a huge chunk of his arm?
In the early games, every opponent defeated is carted off, no matter how you defeat them. Even since the beginning of the series, these are duels to the death, and something as innocuous as a finishing throw to slam the foe to the ground is far from a Non-Lethal K.O..
