Contrasting with Kutou, Konan (both of them inspired by Imperial China) and Hokkan (inspired by the Mongol Empire), Sairou seems to have a desert theme. One wonders where does that fit, since deserts are more associated with the Middle East in the minds of many... and then FB hits when recalling just what territories formed The Silk Road and its surroundings (like Xinjiang, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, parts of the Tibetan Plateau, the -tan nations from Central Asia, etc.) So yeah, making Sairou (or at least some parts of it) a desertic nation is quite more appropiate than it seems.
