* Contrasting with Kutou, Konan (both of them inspired by Main/ImperialChina) and Hokkan (inpired by the Mongol Empire), Sairou seems to have a desert theme. One wonders where does that fit, since deserts are more associated with the Middle East in the minds of many... and then FB hits when recalling just what territories formed UsefulNotes/TheSilkRoad - yup, many desertic roads were in there (and now they're parts of the "-tan" nations in Central Asia), including the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gobi_Desert Gobi Desert]], which also was a part of the Mongol Empire and now it's divided between Mongolia the nation and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China. So yeah, making Sairou (or at least some parts of it) a desertic nation is ''quite'' more appropiate than it seems.
