Grease is a multimedia franchise which began with the stage musical of the same name.

The plot follows Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski, who, after a summer romance, find themselves attending the same school. However, things get complicated when Danny's reputation as the leader of the Burger Palace Boys gets in the way. Meanwhile, Sandy grows close to the Pink Ladies.

The musical was adapted into a 1978 film, which got a sequel and a television prequel. The play was also performed as a live special for Fox.
