When fantasy becomes a deadly reality
HauntedWeen is a 1991 American Horror Comedy Slasher Movie.
Eddie Burber is a young boy who always wears a Halloween mask. After killing a girl in his mother's haunted attraction, the two flee the area. Twenty years later, a fraternity gets permission to use the house for a fundraiser. Unfortunately for them, Eddie has returned at the same time and wants to make Halloween decorations out of them.
Not to be confused with the Halloween series.
This film contains examples of:
- All Part of the Show: Eddie likes to abduct his victims and kill them in front of the haunt's customers. They don't notice the difference, and think it's just really good special effects, until one of the guys who organized the haunt does a walkthrough and notices.
- Big Bad: Eddie Burber, a psycho killing frat bros in his childhood home.
- Deadly Prank: The whole mess starts because Eddie accidentally impales a girl while trying to scare her. He then butchers her with a machete for seemingly no reason.
- Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: Eddie may be a brutal murderer, but he lets out a Big "NO!" when his mother dies of a heart attack.
- Fundraiser Carnival: The victim pool is a fraternity running a haunted attraction to raise money for unpaid dues.

- Malevolent Masked Men: The first sign that something's wrong with Eddie is the fact that he always wears a green Halloween mask. One the course of the film he switches to an old man mask, a skull mask, and a werewolf mask.
- Neck Snap: Eddie kills a Skinny Dipping girl by turning her head 180 degrees with his bare hands.
