- Synopsis: After marrying Chihiro, it's Haku's turn to explore a new world. Haku must navigate human life as he struggles to find his place as a god in a faithless, electronic age.
- Comments: Fluff done right, thank God. It's a wonderful story that will have you begging for more. Seriously, it's one of the best SW fics out there.
- sardns: Wow, this story is just beautifully handled. It's almost poetic at some parts.
A Road to Somewhere by Lady Librarian

- Pairings: Haku/Chihiro, Chihiro/OC
- Synopsis: What began as a child's story has now become an international bestseller. After 10 years of defending what really happened, Chihiro stops believing. Until she takes a road to somewhere and learns some things can't be forgotten. (Book 1 - Kamikakushi Saga.)
- Comments: Easily one of the best fanfics I have ever read. Facts to support the mythology and setting have obviously been painstakingly researched and smoothly woven into the story (no random fact-dumping author tracts here). The characters are carefully crafted and believable; the story itself proceeds naturally and choices have consequences in the story (no hand-waving to make everything better, no neatly pairing up every random person, and Chihiro and Haku have to work to get together). A sequel, In the Dreamer's Wake, has recently been completed, with a third installment on the way.
The River Gods Wife by weighed and measured

- Pairings: Haku/Chihiro
- Synopsis: Her husband only returns on nights when the moon is full.
- Comments: A lovely, original flavor oneshot that perfectly blends the modern world Chihiro lives in with the spirit realm. Excellently written and in-character.
Guardian by forthrightly

- Pairings: Haku/Chihiro
- Synopsis: COMPLETE. Chihiro spends a long, hot summer in a tiny seaside community, minding an old auntie's store, but a legend whispered by locals leads the young woman on a quest of rediscovery. A small story with small chapters.
- Comments: I love the author's characterization of Chihiro, she's still that same hardworking, imaginative girl we followed through the movie, and it's just amazing to see how her adventures affected the woman she grew up to be. The O Cs really do feel like they belong in a Miyazaki movie, and the writing itself is excellent.
The Beach by iAir Nomad

- Pairings: Haku/Chihiro
- Synopsis: A trip like this was something that happened only once every several hundred years, when Yubaba feels like being generous. Even if it's only for one day and one night, the Spirit World beach proves to bring people more closer than ever.
- Comments: Very cute, and full of fluff. Short, but it captures Chihiro's innocence perfectly. It also makes everything seem so natural, as if this entire fic could blend in the movie without any issues.
