These are recommendations made by Tropers for Emergency!, all of which have been signed. After a few samples, you will be able to judge whether you might be interested in the 'fic, based on who recommended it. No-name recommendations will be zapped. Nobody would back up the rec. Discussion of the recommendation is welcome on the discussion page. As such discussion is important, do remember to add the discussion page to the watchlist, if need be.

- Comments: The Chet/Sandy series are fun reads, and well written. The Stoker fics are on another page that's linked to the homepage. Be warned those are, shall we say, spicier, and should be considered [NSFW]

- Comments: One of the more out-there series of E! fics, but a lot of fun.

- Synopsis: L.A. County gets its first female paramedic-A.J. Whitewolf. The series focuses on her and Johnny getting close but includes most of the other characters as well.

- Comments: Just all around fun reads. A couple stories do have more drama than others. Rape trigger warnings for "When the Hunters become the Hunted" but the rest don't have much more injury drama than the series.

- Comments: This one is sad, folks. You'll want some kleenex. Do heed the character death warning. It's not pretty, either.
- An Arc In The Fog by Hyzenthlay

- Synopsis: After an accident with the engine, Mike Stoker is demoted and reassigned to a new station. But this is not your average firehouse. It's crewed by a group of patient-sacrificing devil worshippers. And they'll do anything to protect their dark secret. Can the guys at 51s figure out how to help Mike before it's too late?
- Comments: This story is dark in places. Mike takes abuse from his new crewmates and ends up in a fight for his life. There's nothing extremely graphic, but he and Johnny do take a beating near the end, and if the cult stuff isn't your thing, you'll want to steer clear. It's definitely considered one of the best Mike fics though.
