Trilessa
by stacy-ampora-strider-ampora is a Homestuck AU fanfic where the main character, Trilessa, is a princess living in a kingdom with her dad King Karkat. While the story itself would be a short, but simple fanfic about a kingdom-based AU, it's primarily the fact that this predates the infamous Learning and Sburbing by the same author is quite the notable mention.

- Adaptational Villainy: While Cronus is a bit of a douche in the original webcomic, here he's even worse, going so far as to kidnap the main character and put them to sleep using a laced chicken wing.
- Adaptational Heroism: King Karkat is depicted as a much kinder incarnation than his other counterpart, while the webcomic Karkat usually is more hotblooded and acts "crabby" with ultimately caring about their allies in the end, King Karkat immediately jumps to help save his daughter by any means necessary despite the possible consequences.
- Alternate Universe Fic: Unlike Learning and Sburbing, this is a more subdued version of one, simply being a medieval AU featuring Homestuck characters.
- Cut Short: In the middle of the conflict, no less. After King Karkat discusses a way to kill Cronus, the fic simply ends there.
- Damsel in Distress: Trilessa ends up being this, with her kidnapping and being put to sleep by Cronus' laced chicken.
- Dead Fic: The fic itself hasn't updated after 2016.
- Not Like Other Girls: The description for Trilessa claims she isn't like other princesses, having dark and curly hair instead of typical blonde.
- Poe's Law: Like Learning and Sburbing, it's not entirely clear if the original fic was originally meant to be a satire or if it was meant to be serious. Though, due to the fic ending suddenly,
- Precision F-Strike: Delivered by Trilessa, no less.
- Related Differently in the Adaptation: Cronus in the fic is Eridan's son instead of his Dancestor, as well as Terezi being Cronus' wife.
- Slut-Shaming: Terezi ultimately hopes that her son finds one that isn't a "slut", though what that entails in the fic isn't very clear.
- Unfortunate Names: Trilessa isn't exactly a nice name for a beautiful princess, though this is mostly due to it being a portmanteau of Tracy and Alyssa.
