)The Incomplete World of Elmore is a fanfic written by DevilMegaUltraMan based on The Amazing World of Gumball with elements of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, primarily JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, mixed into the story.
After losing someone important to her that left a hole in her heart an in the world were he used to be. 12 years later her son and his quirky companions help him as their bizarre adventures in Elmore will help them uncover the secrets in their town.

The Incomplete World of Elmore provides examples of:
- Actor Allusion: When William speaks aloud for the first time in Part 8, he complains about how his voice sounds like a construction worker or a hillbilly who goes around the galaxy and plays the banjo.
- Adaptational Badass:
- The original Gumball? Brave, but fairly weak. Incomplete World of Elmore's Gumball? Fought five older teens alone and won without a scratch. And that was before he had gotten a Stand.
- Truthfully, any previously established character who was given a Stand is more badass than their canon counterpart.
- While Nicole is still just as badass as her canon counterpart, she's seen in a more feared light due to her role as Deputy Sheriff.
- Adaptation Name Change:
- Gumball's first name in the fic is Nicolas, in contrast to his canonical name Zack.
- Darwin's name in the fic is Loki, which is Justified as Gumball was never there to name him.
- Alternate Universe Fic: The story takes place in a different universe, borrowing elements from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and changing existing elements of TAWOG's canon.
- Do I Really Sound Like That?: William thought he sounded like Alan Rickman in his head, but in reality, he speaks with a Jack McBrayer-like voice.
- Expy: As the story implies most of the characters are similar to the charaters of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.
- Loki is one to Doppio—both are eccentric and use items as phones to call their split personalities, with said split personalities being the mastermind behind local crimes, men who don't want their identities to be known, and the most powerful Stand user.
- Julius and his gang are one to La Squadra Esecuzioni, acting as assassins for the Big Bad until he threatens them for trying to uncover his identity by sending them the chopped-up and formaldehyde-preserved pieces of one of their members (Reaper), causing them to defect.
- For a non-JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind example, the Franklin Jr High Council are one to the Robot Masters from Mega Man 2, being antagonistic androids with unique elemental powers that the heroes must defeat to survive.

- Because Richard died the day Gumball was born, Anais does not exist.
- Because Nicole didn't allow Gumball to own a pet when he was a kid, Darwin/Loki never met or grew up with either, causing him and Gumball to be far less connected to each other.
- Jerkass to One: Penny Fitzgerald towards Gumball due to him murdering her pet Mr Cuddles.
- Like Brother and Sister: How Gumball sees the relationship between him and Clare, much to the latter's annoyance. However, she comes to feel the same way about Gumball overtime.
- Love at First Punch: Gumball fell for Carmen because she punched him in the face when his guard was down.
- Man-Eating Plant: Aphrodite, a Venus flytrap with arms that came from the Forest of Doom. She also happens to be Gumball and Nicole's "pet."
- Meaningful Name:
- Gumball's real name in this story is Nicolas, which means "Victory for the people".
- William's last name is Keane which means "Keen Eye".
- Named by the Adaptation:
- Hot Dog Guy is named Darrel Feltmen and Hot Dog Guy is his nickname.
- The Donut Sheriff is named Clancy Rosenberg.
- No Sense of Personal Space:
- Gumball touches Masami's face after Tobias said that she's rough around the edges and gets electrocuted for it.
- Gumball also ends up barging into Clare's room without her permission on multiple occasions, not realizing that it was a felony until Bobert told him.
- Related in the Adaptation: William is Alan's brother in this story.
