Sonic Revolution is a Sonic the Hedgehog science fiction/drama/realistic Fix Fic by Casey Chanders intended to be a more in-depth and Darker and Edgier Rewrite of the Sonic series, like the Retool Sega has tried in the past but more drastic.
In the distant Dystopian Future where humans and anthropomorphs co-exist, when Shadow the Hedgehog, a genetically-created fugitive, escapes after 50 years in hiding, the world is embroiled in a large-scale hunt that soon escalates into a great war between the humans and anthropomorphs. Sonny Hedgehog and his friends, Miles "Tails" Prower, Amy Rose, Knuckles Glider the Echidna, Rouge Gothix the Bat, and Casey McGregor, were just living their ordinary lives, until they come across Shadow and are intertwined into the conflict.
Cast from Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) and even Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW) are present.
The fanfic was self-published as an e-book under the Stardom Tech Industries name and can be downloaded for free on Google Play here

Every part of Sonic Revolution has been modernized and made far more realistic than ever before. Sonic Revolution is some of the best parts of the Sonic series, modernized, dramatically refined and slightly sexualized, to appeal to a brand-new demographic. Ships are realized, and overall, things are done that Sega would have done for us, despite our pleas.
- Hotter and Sexier: For starters, Knuckles and Rouge are in a Teacher/Student Romance and even have sex, Sonic is attracted by Amy's sex appeal, and there are two brief makeout sessions in which the female wears only her lingerie.
- The Future: Sonic Revolution takes place 10,000 years in the future.
- The Lost Lenore: Shadow strongly grieves for Maria, his Love Interest that was killed by GUN.
- The death of Tangle the Lemur, his Love Interest, is the motive for Terios' Revenge on GUN.
- Not Quite Dead: Maria is alive, albeit trapped in President King's lab and still in bad shape.
- Role Swap AU: It's Sonic who has a crush on Amy, instead of the other way around.
- Sex Dressed: After Rouge and Knuckles' post-coitus moment, they hear police sirens and then quickly redress themselves in random clothing just in case. By looking at what they are wearing, Sonia is able to realize they had sex.
- Teacher/Student Romance: Rouge the teacher and Knuckles the student have a romantic relationship. Rouge even comes to Knuckles' house to both help with his homework and make love with him.
