Primal Journey
is an on-going deviantart fanfic co-written by Krocken and Zilloclaw. It features Krystal from Star Fox as the main character.
Primal Journey provides examples of:
- Abhorrent Admirer: Brezok is this to Krystal and every girl he enslaves.
- Badass Adorable: Krystal is dead-drop gorgeous... and an awesome fighter.
- Bound and Gagged: Brezok and his minions do this to Krystal in Part 2.
- Casting a Shadow: Brezok has the ability to control and manipulate his own shadow and use it to attack others.
- Curbstomp Battle: Brezok defeats anyone who tries to directly fight him with relative ease.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Many characters have this:
- Like in canon, Krystal lost her entire race as a child, and has been a lone wanderer ever since.
- Scarface Claw lost his home when he was young and at some point was captured and tortured by Brezok.
- All of Brezok's slave girls have this, having been captured, enslaved and sexually abused by him.
- Dirty Mind-Reading: When using her telepathy on Scarface, Krystal sensed the overwhelming lust he has for her.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Scarface is quite often distracted by Krystal's beauty and nudity.
- Evil Overlord: Brezok.
- Full-Frontal Assault: Krystal spends the entire story naked and gets into a lot of fights.
- Giant Spider:
- Krystal is attacked and nearly eaten by one in the first chapter.
- Brezok also has one in his army.
- Go-Go Enslavement: All of Brezok's slave girls are dressed in skimpy outfits.
- Ms. Fanservice: This story takes Krystal's already ludicrous status as this even higher by having her spend the entire story completely naked. Her introduction takes great pains to describe in great detail how dead-drop gorgeous she is, and even after that many sentences still remind us of her beauty and nudity.
- Nothing Is Scarier: The story never gives much detail about how Scarface Claw was tortured and experimented on by Brezok; only that said torture resulted in his scars. Scarface himself refuses to talk about the details because it's "too horrible."
- Panthera Awesome: Scarface Claw is an extremely strong, fast, agile, and powerful humanoid feline.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl: Krystal feels absolutely no qualms about being stark naked, even in public.
- Slave Collar: Krystal is forced to wear one when she is captured by Brezok. Brezok's other slave girls are also forced to wear these.
- Lust Object: Krystal is this for Scarface Claw, who is deeply in love with her and admires her strength, fighting skills, but is also almost head-in Ax-Crazy with lust for her.
