This story was created and written somewhat but not yet completed by Espeon Arcanine Pines.It was created with the intention of being the fully realized edition of Pokémon Black and White, free from the E rating to live up to its full potential be the best story it could be.It is also intended to become an actual show, like the Pokémon: The Series. And a game. With multiple endings. When the author becomes a member of Game Freak.

Tropes that apply to A Tale of Two Heroes:

• Adaptation Name Change: The heroine is Sery,^note a corruption of the Belarusian word for gray according to Google Translate, to fit in with Cheren and Bianca's Theme Naming. not Hilda.
• Author Appeal: The two most important human characters have Autism Spectrum Disorder. Wonder why.

• Break the Cutie: The silent protagonist of the games never showed any distress after being harassed by their apparent Stalker with a Crush on a regular basis, informed they were being watched and followed by one or more "ninjas," and forced to be the one thing (symbolic or otherwise) standing between life as we know it and world domination. Sery is no silent protagonist.

• Meaningful Name: The first letter of Sery is S, which is often is an abbreviation for South, the opposite of North, often abbreviated as N.
• Theme Naming:
  • Cheren, Sery, and Bianca mean Black, Gray, and White in various European languages.

• All of Jerry's Pokémon have names of characters paired up with a Jerry in various other media and real life: for example, Ben, Tom, Beth.

• The Nose Knows: To Pauline, N always smells like lots of Pokémon, but on the second encounter with him she notices something underneath she can't yet identify, but associates with unpleasantness. She realizes too late that it's the same general smell that Team Plasma always has.
• Plucky Comic Relief: Jerry is all the dumb lines and actions from the original Team Plasma stuck into one Grunt. The rest of the grunts, on the other hand...
