Ominous Onichan

This fanfiction series contains examples of:
- Alternate Universe Fic: A What If? with the change that Lila takes a picture of Marinette among the trash cans, showing that she is stalking Adrien. As a result, Marinette becomes a target along with Lila for Onichan, and Marinette is also tagged with a horn.
- Bittersweet Ending: Ladybug's superhero identity is exposed and she loses one of her earrings. Hawk Moth loses his Miraculous, and he is exposed and on the run. Things do not look good for Marinette's prospects with Adrien. Marinette's stalking behavior has been outed by Lila's photo, and Adrien is upset with her. He has left for Japan to stay with Kagami and her family.
- Brick Joke: The fic ends with Juleka calling Marinette to ask where her bike is.
- Cheap Costume: Ladybug is forced to wear a firefighter's helmet in addition to her regular costume, in order to conceal the horn that Onichan placed on her.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Averted. Lila thinks the cheap shot against Marinette is worthwhile, so she takes the picture she didn't take in the original.
- Exact Words: Ladybug gets Onichan to tell her the exact words of Lila's promise about giving up Adrien if Onichan gets rid of Ladybug, and finds a loophole.
- Fix Fic: A plot hole in the original episode is patched because it was never explained why Onichan made the tracking call to the firefighter which got her swapped away. In this version, Ladybug tricks Onichan into getting riled up about Lila again, causing her to place the call by accident.
- Irony: Chat Noir asks Ladybug to tell him about Hawk Moth's identity later, not knowing how big an effect it will have on him once he knows.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Due to an interrupted Miraculous Ladybug cure, Lila is left with an incurable horn that will grow any time she lies again.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Hawk Moth spectacularly screws up when he yanks Onichan's akuma, giving Ladybug the opening she needs to trigger a Miraculous Ladybug.
- Pinocchio Nose: Because she's inflicted with Onichan's horn spell, Ladybug cannot lie as her horn grows with each lie she speaks, forcing her to come clean about her true identity with her father and her partner.
- Summon to Hand: The Lucky Charm can be summoned right before a Miraculous Ladybug cure. This is how Ladybug is able to unbind herself and catch Hawk Moth by surprise.
- That Came Out Wrong:Ladybug: Now to find that horny demon! No... that didn't come out right.
- The Unmasking: By going into action with a horn on her forehead, Ladybug is very much at risk for losing her secret identity. She ultimately is caught by Onichan and Hawk Moth, and reveals her identity to Chat and Tom shortly afterward. Hawk Moth is also exposed when Ladybug suddenly unbinds herself and is able to snatch his Miraculous. Chat Noir has exposed his identity to Marinette, but he has given the Cat Miraculous back to Master Fu.
- What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: Marinette is surprised that the only superpower Onichan seems to have is giving people horns. Tikki warns her there is more to it than that.
- You Can't Make an Omelette...: Both Ladybug and Onichan involve a civilian in their battle. Ladybug lassos the civilian as she gets a swapping call from Onichan, but Onichan anticipated that and placed the call from a high window ledge, forcing Ladybug to go to the civilian's rescue.
- You Have Failed Me: Hawk Moth pulls the power from Onichan when she is tricked away from getting the Miraculous and he comes to claim it in person. It's also a Villain Ball, because he doesn't realize it will allow Ladybug to unbind herself and turn the tables on him.
