Loud Ed Drama is a crossover fic written by Epar Lana (formerly captainswagswag). It can be found here. The fic is mostly a regular season of Total Drama, but with the major characters from Ed, Edd n Eddy and The Loud House joining the normal contestants.

An alternate universe Dark Fic inspired by Knifez's Despair Island, titled Loud Ed Despair Island, is currently ongoing.

This work contains examples of:

  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In their home series, Marie had a crush on Edd, although the latter didn't like her back and tried to ignore her. Here, the two develop a relationship.
  • Adaptational Badass: Heather is still the main antagonist of the story, but she is more socially savvy than she was in canon, where she let herself be openly hated at all times.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: A short lived example with Tyler: In his boot episode (the phobia episode), he is blamed for his team losing, but he tries to deflect his mistakes by saying only four people on his team passed their fears. He even acts similar to how Noah acted in canon when he gets eliminated, which is to stand up and protest his elimination, only to have a bunch of marshmallows thrown at him, and finally Leshawna calling him a "turkey."
  • Adaptational Wimp: Edd exaggerates this. In his home series, although one of the scrawny kids, he could still do stuff that didn't require him using his strength, and even got into a fight with Eddy without that many injuries. In this fic, his weakness has been exaggerated to the point that he couldn't even lift a dodgeball.
  • Alternate Universe Fic: This fic is what would happen if Ed, Edd n Eddy and The Loud House crossed over with Total Drama Island.
  • Apologizes a Lot: Whenever his team loses, DJ will always apologize for the loss, even though he's one of the people who contributes.
  • Ascended Extra: Due to the change, some of the contestants get farther than in canon.
  • Berserk Button: Eddy gets angry when his team loses challenges, and even declares his team the worst one due to them not winning.
  • Big Bad: Heather, just like in canon.
  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • Ed saves Chris from choking on a piece of his team's burnt dessert by punching his chest.
    • Rolf saves his team from a bear by knocking it out, even though his team were afraid of him getting killed in the process.
  • Big Eater: In episode 13, Ed was able to eat every food in the challenge, even bovine testicles. As a bonus, the other contestants didn't even start eating and were grossed out by it, but Ed's team were happy that he won for them.
    • This is justified, as in his home series, he was able to eat a log.
  • Birds of a Feather: Lynn and Eddy are both Sore Losers with a Hair-Trigger Temper, but have hearts of gold under it all.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: When Leni hugs Eddy due to rain, Lee, due to having a crush on Eddy, gets angry about this.
Lee: (angry) Nobody's allowed to touch my man but me!
  • Crossover Couple: Eddy and Lynn begin a relationship in episode 10.
  • Demoted to Extra: Beth becomes the first boot, with no plot whatsoever due to her allies in canon being on a different team than her. Katie and Sadie end up filling in her role.
  • Does Not Like Spam: When rewarded with a cookie, Lincoln shows disgust towards it, considering that it's oatmeal raisin. He gives it to Owen, who doesn't hate any food of any kind. Lisa later does the same thing when she gets an oatmeal raisin cookie.
  • The Dog Bites Back: After suffering from her abuse, Sadie and Katie stand up to Heather and leave the alliance.
  • Exact Eavesdropping: When the remaining guys make an alliance to get further into the game, Heather, being the manipulate person that she is, overhears it and tries to disband it.
  • The Gadfly: In episode 24, Izzy takes after an eliminated Trent and tells Chris he walked in at 9:00, much to Chris' annoyance.
  • Genius Ditz: Owen, despite being a bit clueless, was smart enough to answer every question correctly about the contest in episode 24.
  • Groin Attack: After jumping off the cliff in the first challenge, Eddy lands crotch-first on a buoy.
  • Heroic BSoD: Ed suffers one when Edd gets eliminated.
    • May also suffers one due to Ed's elimination.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: In episode 12, Geoff volunteers to be eliminated so he could be with an already eliminated Bridgette and save the people who have relationships.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: The contestants think that Heather is a nice person, despite the fact that she's anything but. The only people that hate her are Eddy, Kevin, and a few others.
  • Innocently Insensitive: In episode 22, Ed accidentally makes sexist remarks towards girls, and due to being an idiot as usual, he doesn't stop and this gets him eliminated.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Kevin is one of the meaner members of his team, but he is able to be friendly to other people, most notably Cody. Unfortunately, this is subverted in episode 13, when he reveals he still hates Eddy, which ultimately costs him his game.
  • Karma Houdini Warranty: When witnessing Heather being mean to Jimmy and Sarah, Eddy feels like the two deserved it after everything the two did to him in their home series, like taking a balloon that he wanted and tricking him into thinking that a golden horseshoe was real.
  • Lethally Stupid: Ed during the baseball challenge as rather then use the bat to hit the ball, he tosses the bat at the ball, which ends up hitting Eddy in the chest and knocks Luna out. After the latter time, Chris has him pulled from the game.
  • Like Is, Like, a Comma: This line.
Lindsay: "I think we should go right, because right is right, right?"
Noah: "Take a shot every time she says 'right,'"
  • Likes Older Men: Lola, a child, has a crush on Justin, a teenager.
  • The Load: Edd, Ed, and Lily are easily the worst examples, such as Lily's slowness (due to being a baby) preventing her from completing a single lap of the PACER test properly, Ed being ejected from the baseball challenge for violating even basic rules, and Edd for not doing well in challenges due to his weak structure. Downplayed with Lucy, who is eliminated for this reason, as although she isn't lazy or terrible in challenges, she is by no means a standout and is seen as team filler.
  • Loners Are Freaks: Rolf and Ezekiel, due to being the only boys left without a connection to someone, are pitted by Heather for people to vote off. It works as the two are voted off consecutively.
  • Minor Injury Overreaction: Subverted with Geoff's splinter injury from canon in Up The Creek. Marie offers to take the splinter out, but it turns out to be as painful as Geoff and the others were making it out to be.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Lincoln swearing at Lucy due to him thinking that her predictions are false and he realizes that he did it on INTERNATIONAL TV. However, this is justified, as in their home series, Lincoln was told by Lucy that his day will end in disaster. He believed it and let his day get wasted.
    • DJ also has a moment like this when he beats up Lindsay under the effects of the boomerang. He ends up quitting because of it.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • Katie and Sadie telling off Heather is just like Beth standing up to Heather in canon.
    • The boomerang from the Eds' universe comes into play in episode 20 and reverses the contestants' personalities.
  • Naked People Are Funny: Ed and Owen go nude during the Awake-a-ton, much to the contestants' horror. Lindsay also revealed that she went naked during a marching band practice, as she thought people were stripping. From the same challenge as Lindsay's reveal, Lincoln reveals Luna crowd surfed nude as well.
  • Non-Gameplay Elimination: Jimmy winds up airlifted after Heather "accidentally" startles him, causing him to lose his balance and fall into the pond of electric eels.
  • Only Sane Man: Kevin considers his first team hateful due to their shenanigans and idiocy.
  • Out-of-Character Moment: It's revealed in episode 19 that Jimmy once bit the balls of someone, even though he's super fragile.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Kevin gives Cody advice on how to speak to girls and even befriends him.
    • During the Awakeathon, Duncan gives Ezekiel advice on how to act in the real world and like the above example, they even strike up a friendship to the point where Duncan is crushed when he has to vote Ezekiel out.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: When trying to break up the Guys' Alliance, Heather offers up Ezekiel and Rolf as the options. As she points out, going after any of the other boys would cause someone to turn against her as they all either have girlfriends, family, or friends in the remaining girls while Zeke and Rolf don't.
  • Ship Sinking: Although they were never dating in their home series, Kevin and Nazz were dating going into the story, only for the latter to dump the former when Kevin is revealed to still be a jerk after it seemed as if he was turning a new leaf.
  • Sanity Slippage: After episode 19, Trent suffers one after losing all his coolness to become focused on the number nine.
  • Sore Loser: Quite a few, but Lola, Harold, Lori, and Rolf were bad enough to be forced onto the Boat of Losers.
  • Stations of the Canon: Downplayed; some quotes and events still happen like in canon, but don't always match the script verbatim.
  • Taking the Bullet: In the No Pain No Game challenge, Sarah takes Jimmy's barrel of leeches dare in his place.
  • Took a Level in Dumbass: After Gwen is eliminated, Trent goes crazy and gets super obsessed with the number nine, to the point that when someone questions his obsession, he'll call the person a "nine hater." In fact, by his last episode, he took to making his sentences nine words each, something even the canon Trent never did. Unsurprisingly, this behavior got him eliminated.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Lynn has no problems threatening anyone who is mean to Eddy. She beats up Kevin when he takes his insults a little too far, and was willing to go face-to-face with an eliminated Lee if she stalks Eddy.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: The contestants have their own fears. Lana is afraid of using power tools, Jonny is afraid of losing Plank, Noah is afraid of gym equipment, etc.
  • Would Hit a Girl: In episode 20, due to the effects of the boomerang from the Eds' hometown reversing the contestants' personalities, DJ is turned into an aggressive and angry person that beats the tar out of Lindsay. After the challenge is over, DJ feels bad and quits the game because of it.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Katie throws an apple at Lily in the blind challenge. Downplayed, due to it being an accident, but Katie appears to be rather concerned about Lily's siblings being angry at her rather than her hurting Lily, and she still gets eliminated.
  • Wouldn't Hurt a Child: When it becomes a free-for-all in the dodgeball challenge, Bridgette, rather than throwing the ball at Lily, decides to just tap the ball at her due to the latter being a baby.
