Go To

Hellhound Lincoln or Helluva Boss - Hellhound Lincoln, is a crossover between Helluva Boss and The Loud House by LeeGriffin.

It asks the question, "What if Lincoln was a hellhound raised by Moxxie and Millie?"

The story's twentieth chapter was just added as this page was being published.

  • Adaptational Jerkass: Lincoln pretty much acts and talks like a relative of Loona. Justified as he's older and has spent his entire life in Hell.
  • Adaptational Karma: Striker's failed assassination attempt on Stolas results in him getting a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown.
  • Age-Gap Romance: This isn't entirely apparent or important, but Octavia is actually one year older than Lincoln (she is 17, while he is 16).
  • Ambiguous Situation: Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lola, Lana, and Lisa all appear, but it's not clear if they and Lincoln are brother and sisters, or have instead undergone Adaptational Relationship Overhaul.
  • Ascended Extra: Octavia appears in this story's takes on "Spring Broken", "The Harvest Moon Festival", "Truth Seekers", and "Queen Bee", episodes she never appeared in canon. Her role in "Ozzie's" was also changed from a brief non-speaking cameo to a main character.
  • Big Damn Reunion: When Lincoln and Octavia were kids, Stella threw Lincoln out of the house moments before the Extermination. Octavia was horrified and heartbroken by this, believing Lincoln had died. Years later, however, she would find he was alive and well when her family went to Wrath Ring and met Millie's family, finding out that Millie had adopted Lincoln. Octavia hugged Lincoln tightly as she cried, finally able to smile after all this time.
  • Bisexual Love Triangle: After talking with Octavia about her feelings for Lincoln, Ronnie Anne realizes she is actually attracted to both Lincoln AND Octavia.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: In stark contrast to Lincoln's appearance in "The Loud House", a show which only shows blood through Clyde's nosebleeds when he sees Lori, this Lincoln is more than willing to get his claws bloody, and shows no hesitation when taking out targets or people attacking him, as shown in "Murder Family" and "Truth Seekers".
  • Calling the Old Man Out: Joe and Lin get this after the latter tries to shame Millie for failing to take out Striker, and the former's dislike of Moxxie.
  • Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu?: Lincoln stands up to Alastor, telling him that he pretty much does have to obey Charlie. He also stands up to Asmodeus in "Ozzie's" when the King of Lust is insulting his father's love song.
  • Evil Is One Big, Happy Family: Well, the dynamic was implied and given detail in Helluva Boss, and it's put more on display here, especially with Lincoln's interactions with Moxxie and Millie.
  • Extremely Protective Child: Lincoln is very protective of his parents, even willing to stand up to a higher ranked Demon like Asmodeus to protect them on their anniversary night. When Moxxie was caught by the monster fish in "Spring Broken", Lincoln immediately ran in and saved him with help from Millie.
  • Implied Death Threat: Lincoln gives one to Stella after he gets tired of her Hair-Trigger Temper when he was going to take Octavia on a date.
  • Interclass Friendship: Lincoln and Octavia have been best friends since they were children, regardless of Octavia being part of a royal family and Lincoln just being a Hellhound, though it does turn into Interclass Romance. He also has this with Charlie Morningstar and Queen Beelzebub, who both treat Lincoln like the little brother they never had.
  • Interspecies Romance: Obviously Blitzø and Stolas, as well as Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, but this applies to Lincoln and Octavia too. Octavia is a member of the Goetia family, while Lincoln is a Hellhound. Stella just won't stop bitching about it.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: Lincoln's undergone Adaptational Jerkass, but when Loona reads the imp trio the riot act for not using human disguises in the mortal world, he points out that A) Imps don't have the same access to transformation magic that Hellhounds do, and b) any human that does see either stupid or ends up dead.
  • Mama Bear: Millie is very protective of Lincoln, as shown when he was shot in the leg by a deranged target, sending her into a feral rage as she fought the target viciously.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: When Lincoln snaps out of his Hellhound Bloodlust in "The Harvest Moon Festival", he looks around the destruction and sees his friends and family hurt, as he had blindly attacked them while going ballistic. He began to break down and cry in Octavia's arms as she consoled him, but was quickly forgiven by everyone after Striker fled.
  • "Shut Up" Kiss: In "The Harvest Moon Festival", Lincoln is trying to tell Octavia why he kissed her on the cheek in a previous chapter. Octavia, knowing what he's trying to say, kisses him on the lips, cementing them as a couple.
  • Tragic Hero: For a good majority of the story, Lincoln is dealing with a troubled and heartbreaking past. It isn't properly explored until the chapter where he meets Millie's extended family: his biological parents, Lance and Pamela Marshall, were killed in an Extermination. He was left hidden under a manhole cover, and all he could hear were their screams of agony. This left Lincoln with a deep fear that he would lose his new family too, which is why the Bounty Hunter, Death, has been hunting Lincoln down. It isn't until "Truth Seekers" where Lincoln finally faces his fear and fights Death to a stand still, even accessing a power beyond the Hellhound Bloodlust. Death, with newfound respect for Lincoln, leaves and tells Lincoln to live his life, but promising they will meet again. Lincoln just smirks and tells him he'll see him then.
