Cybernetic Blue Blur Revised is a crossover between Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) and “Mega Man Battle Network'' written by Gammatron in which Megaman and Lan are the dual reincarnation of Sonic the Hedgehog.Elements of other continuities in both franchises can be seen in this story. It currently stands at 20 Chapters and is also available “here

Cybernetic Blue Blur Revised provides examples of:

  • Adaptational Badass:
    • Roll.EXE: Roll was already fast in the games as established in Mega Man Battle Network 4: Red Sun and Blue Moon, but here she has even greater speed due to her permanent Style Change. She's able to wreck all of Yoka's Network when she accessed Wukong Style to save Lan and Chaud from Bubbleman's bubbles.
    • Maylu Sakurai: Due to her Mobian Cat genetics of her Mobini heritage, Maylu can summon and manipulate flames and even heat, using it to melt streets to incapacitate robots and even lessen the damage that the Scientists in SciLab suffered in canon during Flameman's scenario.
  • Adaptational Early Appearance:
    • Mamoru: Unlike in the game canon, Mamoru appeared earlier because of Lan, Maylu, Chaud, and Sean all being in the Beach Street hospital before the events of 3.
    • Serenade: Roll uses the email address she and the others had been given to send a message to Serenade to let them know Mamoru was in surgery. They arrive and curbstomp Metal Sonic.
  • Adaptational Expansion: Zero from Mega Man Network Transmission is involved with more events than merely his only video game appearance.
  • Adapted Out:
    • Tora from the N1GP, meaning he isn't there to attack the WWW.
  • Ascended Extra:
    • Sean Obihiro, leader of Grave, is elevated to one of the main characters and revealed to have Mobini heritage.
    • Freezeman.EXE, rebuilt by Famous, is Sean's personal NetNavi.
  • Atlantis: Unlike Legend of Network, this story uses the name Atlantis instead of Atlampis. It was made from Mobians who traveled to Earth through a Warp Ring that had married humans, giving birth to a new race called Mobini that waged war with Mu and its inhabitants.
  • Badass Armfold: Super Sonic does this to the Alpha Omegga.
  • Big Eater: Megaman and Roll are becoming ones due to the difference between Earth Food and Network Food. Mobius Food is added to the list with Earth Food.
  • Berserk Button: Match poked upon Lan and Megaman’s of hurting their friends and family along with being manipulated by the man while preparing to have Metal kill Maylu and Roll. It ends up triggering Dark Super Style Megaman, who proceeds to decimate him, Flameman, and Metal Sonic.
  • Beware the Nice Ones:
    • Serenade is a kind, jovial program who loves their Operator Mamoru a lot. They are also the former strongest NetNavi in the entire Network, ruler of the Secret Network, and can effortlessly handle Metal Sonic.
    • Lan and Megaman are good kids who love their friends and family. Unfortunately, if you threaten those same people, they drop the niceties and go on the assault. Match and Flameman learned this the hard way when they went Dark Super Style Megaman on them.
  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • Serenade does this when they arrive and effortlessly beat Metal Sonic when the combined efforts of Megaman, Roll, and Protoman couldn't.
    • Lan, Maylu, Dex, and Yai do this to stop Chaud from handing over Protoman to Sunayama with Lan throwing his and Maylu’s PeTs at the man.
    • The Freedom Fighters are this when Netto is injured by Mecha Robotnik.
  • Chekhov's Gun:
    • Megaman’s dream journal that he had been writing his dreams in at the start is dropped later on and found by Nicole, who reads it and learns Megaman is really Hub Hikari and mistakenly thinks he's the fully reincarnated Sonic.
    • Lan has a dream sent by the Ancient Walkers and awakes to having seven Chaos Emeralds in his bed. Later that chapter, he and Megaman use the Negative Energy of them to assume a Dark Super Form while the next chapter has them use it to become Super Sonic.
  • Curbstomp Battle:
    • Serenade makes their appearance by effortlessly dispatching Metal Sonic.
    • When Megaman goes HUB Style, unless you're Bass, get ready for one.
    • Wukong Style Roll delivered one on Bubbleman.
    • Bass.EXE appears and destroys Metal Sonic and Deletes Flameman with a single attack.
    • Megaman stomps Copyman in ten seconds flat.
    • When Megaman enters a Dark Super Transformation, he effortlessly destroys Metal Sonic before tearing apart Flameman while Match was in Full Synchro with him, leading to Match losing several limbs as a result of the feedback.
  • Darker and Edgier: Compared to the source material of one part of the franchise, things are far worse for Earth during the events covered in the third game including a robot invasion destroying parts of BeachStreet with many Officials being slaughtered to destabilize the Electopia branch, Chaud's father being Roboticized, Sunayama being killed by Chaud in a rage, Match being far worse with his taunting and better manipulation of Lan and Megaman, Anetta being killed by Zero, and Match causing Lan and Megaman to snap and nearly kill him, Flameman, and Metal Sonic after going DarkSuperStyle due to them pressing one too many buttons, leaving the human of the three brutally beaten to the point he was last seen in a coma in a critical state in the hospital.
  • Death by Adaptation:
    • Many unnamed Officials are killed by a combination of SWATBots, Mecha, and Metal Sonic.
    • Sunayama is Roboticized before Chaud destroys his body in a rage due to Sunayama Roboticizing his father
    • When Maylu's interference proves to protect the scientists that stayed behind, Match deploys Mecha who kills one of the scientists.
    • Zero slices through Plantman completely; however, due to Anetta being in Full Synchro, the feedback caused her to be killed as well with Nicole having to close the girl’s eyes.
  • Dies Differently in Adaptation: Inukai is Deleted by Mecha instead of an unknown method.
  • Dual Boss: Megaman and Roll battle against Bowlman and Mistman in order to obtain the Rank 2 in order to find Serenade for the GigaFreeze program.
  • Heroic BSoD: Lan gets a nasty case of it after discovering that Mr. Match tricked him into firebombing Sci Lab, endangering his own father's life and leading Mecha to kill another scientist. He locks himself up for several days, hiding in his old bedroom, and refuses to talk to his friends about anything.
  • Hero on Hiatus: When the BubbleWash triggers its trap, Lan and Chaud are the ones who get captured in the bubbles instead of Maylu and Haruka. This leads to Roll and Freezeman taking Megaman’s place in saving the day.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: SciLab hires Mr. Match and lets him walk around the building and access all their computers without question. Match, who was a member of WWW in the first game, and it's public knowledge by this point that WWW has resurfaced and is attacking the internet in various areas. No prizes for guessing what ends up happening.
  • I'll Pretend I Didn't Hear That: When Sean needs to remove Freezeman’s limiters to put out the inferno roaring in the Network, which would violate their parole, Chaud and Protoman pretend that they don’t see it happening.
  • Lame Pun Reaction: Sean has these whenever Freezeman cracks a joke.
  • Littlest Cancer Patient: Mamoru, complete with Incurable Cough of Death, who suffers from a heart condition that killed MegaMan back when he was Hub Hikari.
  • My Greatest Second Chance: After learning that Mamoru is suffering from a heart condition, Megaman realizes it's the same one which killed him as Hub, and begs him to take the surgery to try and cure it.
  • Only the Chosen May Wield: Serenade grants Megaman the Giga Freeze, a last-resort option that is capable of halting Alpha's functions before it spreads across the Net. However, only a select few Navis can use it effectively — anyone else deemed unworthy will be frozen in place for eternity. Naturally, Megaman proves to be one of the few who can. The other is Bass, who catches it with his bare hands when Mega tries to use it on him inside of Alpha.
  • Somebody Set Up Us the Bomb: SciLab and the rest of the internet become hit by fire bombs set by Mr. Match after he had tricked Lan into setting them up.
  • Super Mode:
    • Megaman HUB Style and Roll Wukong Style are the forms Megaman and Roll can achieve using Perfect Synchro. However, while Megaman is able to trigger it automatically, Roll is unable to do the same.
    • Bass was able to copy HUB Style with his Get Ability program until Megaman ripped it back out of him.
    • Lan and Megaman’s use of the Chaos Emeralds caused them to become Super Sonic in order to defeat the Alpha Omegga.
    • Knuckles achieved Hyper Knuckles when the real Master Emerald was revealed, returning the power he had lost when he was revived to return.
  • Take That!:
    • Towards the Bubbleman Scenario. Unlike Megaman who requires the Press program to move on, Roll simply floats over the narrow parts while Freezeman made an ice path for him to walk across.
    • Happens again with the Forbidden Program being useless against Alpha and then Alpha Omegga, which is lampshaded by the three NetNavis that had been guarding it.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Chaud is revealed to be under a lot of stress trying to gain the approval of his father. Sadly, Sunayama’s use of a pair of Roboticizer gloves turned his father into a lifeless robot.
