Robert 'Rob' Gerard Tapert (May 14, 1955) is an American producer, writer, and director best known for Darkman (1990), Timecop (1994), and The Quick and the Dead (1995). He's a frequent collaborator with Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, having known them since their college days.
He is married to actress Lucy Lawless and they have two children.
